I'm in 6 clubs, one of them inactive since I joined it weeks ago ( @bigburt82 why?) and it's pretty tough to do all those events + community challenges + AI challenges + career + time trial. I would even join more clubs, if there are some active interesting ones there. Not looked for a while, if there are new ones. But 32? Lulz. I don't even have a own one 😄

@SkyRex Well, that looks strange...but it's not the only bug on the site, so I'm not surprised. Event 1: New England After the first stage it looked pretty good for me, didn't made big mistakes and was just behind SkyRex. At this point I already read here, that he had a puncture and will lose a minute at some point. And this was my problem: I got nervous and made several mistakes in the 2nd and 3rd stage, even rolled over once, but no puncture or time penalty. But by the end of the 3rd stage (last 2 or 3 sectors) my engine was saying "not like that my friend" and sounded terrible. The damage was huge and I couldn't repair most of it in the service area. So while the car handled well, I lost around 20% on power for the next 3 stages (the white bar for engine was less than half). Did not made many mistakes anymore and tried just to finish as clean as possible. At the next service stop I could repair most of the car and the white bar for engine was magically almost filled up, strangely. So for the last short stage I was pretty fast again. All in all I could have won that event at this point without these stupid mistakes in stage 2 & 3, but thankfully an alien came in the last hours and put nearly 2 and a half minutes on everyone. Impressive. And frustrating 😄 Event 2: Catamarca Province Well, pretty unspectacular this time. No big mistakes, just a few smaller ones. No punctures or time penalties. Used medium tyres and had just shortly before the end of the 3rd & 6th stage slightly grip problems. Could have been faster here and there, but not much I think. Hopefully it's enough for a podium this time 😄

Or they just make a non class specific option for clubs were you can exclude cars per option. But I realise in the moment I write it, it's pretty much the same as multi class clubs then 😄 Thats probably a license issue. Wouldn't surprise me, if manufacturers don't want an Delta S4 against an R5 or something. Your solution is...interesting. I'm not sure if that would cause confusion with 2 exact same Evo VIs in the garage in 2 different classes. It would be better just using the same Evo VI in both classes. But that could be also a license problem maybe. I think moving it to a millenial class would be better and maybe filling the free Group A place with an older 90s Group A car. The Delta is unbeatable anyway, so it doesn't really matter how competitive it is, lol. But I have the feeling they just go the easy/lazy way and just put them in 2000cc 😄

Wouldn't it be better to put the Evo VI, 01 Impreza and 01 Focus in a "millenium" class and let the other classes the way they are? There is just the problem with the leaderboards. CM would need to find a way to put the Evo VI times from the Group A leaderboards to the new leaderboard. Wipe the Group A leaderboards would be meh. But to be honest, I don't see how the Evo VI is much better than the Delta, on the leaderboards it seems both are pretty similar in times. Not sure if the 01 Impreza and 01 Focus are competitive against the 07 Focus and C4 Rally, probably not really. So they need there own class. And before someone cries about putting the Stratos back in H2: Parity > History. I rather have car classes were the cars are competitive against each other than have correct historical classes. As long it's not too crazy. The Stratos is even in H3 probably the best car together with the M3 EVO. Putting it back to H2 would mean absolutely 0 chance for my good old loved Kadett and 131.

For a moment I thought you would say "and another one for season 5 & 6" 😄 I would buy it, though. Since FM7 and FH4 are pretty garbage the way they are now, I pretty much play only 3 games since almost half a year now with around 80% of it being DR2.0. So can't really be enough content to be added for me.

Hmmm...I'm thinking of using the Impreza. For some reason I always mess up with the Lancia, so I better stay away from it for now 😄

I'll be honest. I hated you/this the moment I messed up in the first or second stage in argentina 😄 Had to do the 4/5 stages with a blown tire, because had 2 blown up and only one spare 😄 Completely ruined the event, but still arrived at the end. Never giving up. Still have to do the current event and I slightly afraid it happens again 😄 But I like it. Thrilling! (And I'm masochist, too lol)

I know many will disagree with me, but: I hope that august-teasing is not/or not only referencing to VR. I don't care about VR. VR is expensive and I play on xbox one s anyway, so no VR for me for sure. Don't get me wrong, I would use it, if I had the money for special luxury like that, but I would rather spend that for a good wheel and pedals before this anyway. Same for eSports. If it's only eSports announcement without really new content, it would be disappointing, too. I just want more fixes, locations, stages for existing locations and cars. In this order. Even more RX would be ok. Did the My Team RX-career yesterday for the first time, was quite fun with the delta (but pretty boring, because open class is ridiculously slow).

RaceNet is down again on xbox. Second day in a row and since the server maintenance a few days ago generally pretty slow and unstable. I decided to do a break for a few weeks and then I maybe come back. Just don't wanna deal with this bs, have enough stress at work. So I'm out of all club races and so on. Also cancelled my GRiD UE pre-order for now, not interested in a 3rd unpolished game in a row from the same publisher/developer. Not happy.

Nah mate. Preview videos are basically PR videos. Nothing in them without prove I believe for even a second. To clarify: I don't believe PR videos in general, not only Codemasters. Playing videogames for over 20 years now and these kind of videos were usually "overblown" or just lets say "ambitious". Look at how the AI is in the game. It's the weakest point in the game (but probably also the hardest part to get right). That was also the only negative point in the original DiRT Rally for me. A few stages in Greece, Sweden and especially Monte Carlo were much harder than all the other stages on the respective difficulty setting. DiRT 4 had the exact same problem, the main reason why I stopped playing it after a few weeks. It got a huge patch a few months later, I don't know, if this patch fixed the AI. Could be, but probably not. And now DiRT Rally 2.0. H2 FWD, R2 and partly other classes are unplayable on higher difficulties, except if you don't mind losing everytime by a huge margin. Especially Poland seems to be very badly balanced on even more classes. The reason why I barely play this game against the AI. Sadly. But I can deal with it, because community dailys/weeklys/monthlys and clubs are the main reason why I play this game now every single day. As long as I don't need to deal with direct contact (like in FH4 online races) I like the PvP aspect. The text got much longer than originally intended, sorry 😄

All clubs I'm in (except the 2 official) have no championships running for days, obviously waiting for bug fixes. GRiD comes out in october, would it hurt to get the mentioned specialised person for these kind of things move his butt to Dirt Rally 2.0 to fix this first? More flexibility on these kind of things would help alot.

I know how the career mode works. And I don't believe, that masters gets harder everytime I beat it, that doesn't make much sense. Where you have that info from? I meant with "finishing career" just the current run/championship. I'm in a bad mood now, arrgh.

RaceNet (at least for me on xbox) is down. Perfect example why I hate forced online single player modes. Wanted to finish career...now I can't and have to wait.

I would really consider to let people choose their preferred cam view despite having 3 more voices for enforcing it. I voted for yes I believe, but changed my mind and can't change it anymore. That would maybe keep more people away than expected and it doesn't really matter for performance, right? Personally I use the cockpit view, so it doesn't effect me anyway.

No, I wasn't aware of who he is. But that was definitely a noob move. You shouldn't drive such a rare car in a way it could get destroyed. Not cool.

My hand wanted to slap him, to be honest. Noobs shouldn't be allowed driving such rare classic cars. Too dangerous...for the car. Ugly. I mean really ugly. The old one has style, but this one looks like a wannabe.

I would love H3 RWD, too, if you want it less difficult and there are 6 cars available to choose from. After a 4WD season it would be cool to switch to a more different class, but I forgot that the Group B RWD class is completely DLC, that's maybe really not the best idea for getting more players 😄 But to be honest, I don't want 2000's (completely DLC too, by the way) and NR4, they are to similiar to R5's and I don't really like the R-GT class. If it really has to be 4WD, than I would prefer Group A. But: it's @skuzza187's decision 🙂 Even if you choose H1 FWD (please not), I will participate 😄

@tbtstt Many thanks! Will probably buy that book next month when new money comes in with a big truck 😄 But the E2 had 5-gear-manual transmission, right? And there are maaaaaaaaaany different infos on how many PS the car had at the end. DR1 says the '84 had around 450? (Not sure right now) And DR2.0 says the E2 had 550. And also the thing with the name: Turn 10 with Forza Motorsport 7 and Playground Games with Forza Horizon 4 (and there predecessors) call it "Audi Sport quattro S1" despite it looks like an E2. But having the Pikes Peak body kit as an option. The road car is also in these games called "Audi Sport quattro". I know of an interview with Turn 10, were they said, manufacturers are very picky with the names of their cars, even big or small letters are often important for them. Like "quattro" is always written in small. Always. But Codemasters calls it "Audi Sport quattro S1 E2" on the leaderboards and menus. (Theres also a typo in the garage on the Peugeot R5, if you look closely...bugs me somehow 😄 ) And...the Pikes Peak-version is an E2, just with a different body kit? Or is it more like an unofficial E3?

@tbtstt You are a living info book about rally cars, eh!? 😄 Would you be so kind to explain the complete story of the Audi quattro in rally? All versions from the very beginning to the 87' Group A and so on? I try to find as many infos I can since my interest in rally rised with the older WRC X-Box 360 games and DiRT Rally, but I can't find definitive infos on what was before the Audi Sport quattro S1. A2? Long wheelbase version? Thats all I know. And what happened after '86? I know that Walter Röhrl still raced in '87 in a Audi quattro, but not very long?

What happened in New Zealand? Everyone except Skuzza messed up here somehow. Pretty strange 😄 I personally got the sound-cutting-out bug yesterday in SS1 shortly after the start and then crashed. Lost 2 minutes there. After that it was ok, pretty solid.
