Depends what version of the game you have.
If it's the standard version you should have access to Argentina, Australia, Spain, Poland, New Zealand and USA as locations.
Prove that in Time Trials.
Historic Championship mode has to be played to unlock more events and years/classes.-

I asked myself and still love it 🙂
I do a Masters (highest difficulty) career run at the moment.
6 rallies with 12 stages each.
Won the first 4 rallies, got 4th place in the 5th one.
One remaining.
I'm already champion, because I have a 37 points lead. Great feeling.
Yes, this game is hard.
It punches you right in the face, if you don't focus 100% all the time.
And I love it.
I want a challenge, not a game were I fall asleep before I reach the finish line.
Played way too many racing games in the past to play boring easy racing games, THIS is for me a waste of time.
But the great thing is, there are games for everyone out there.-

My problem here is: I'm on xbox. I don't know how it works on PS4.
On xbox you need to download the content through a install section.
And the Colin McRae Flat Out Pack needs to be downloaded seperately.
Are the seperate DLCs included in this deluxe pack maybe free now in the store?
So you may need to download them all seperately through the store, should be free of course.
Just guessing here. -
Are they still there on the website, or are they gone there, too?
And in how many clubs you are?
I remember someone said it causes problems if you reach a certain number. -
I do 1 shakedown before most rally starts, to get a feeling for the car and track, because I switch the cars very often.
If the shakedown shows problems with the car or me being bad, I do a second one.-

How about leaderboards? I have somewhere around 200 world records in both games, and
would hate to lose registration on the leaderboards.
Good question.
I doubt they would be erased from the leaderboards, but I wouldn't risk it.
But you could just create a new RaceNet-Account, de-link your old and link your new to the game.
This way you SHOULD keep your leaderboard records on the board.
But just wait until @PJTierney gets information about this from the guys, who build that system.
Everything would be easier, if we could just change our names.
I also would like to change my name, so it is the same like my xbox gamertag. -
Maybe it counts.
If not, try next week, there you have another chance. -
If you delete youre RaceNet-Account, you will at least lose everything in My Team in DiRT Rally 2.0.
All cars in garage + stats + upgrades and all engineer progress.
Not sure about DiRT Rally 1. -
Like you seem to know already, it is more a speech of frustration, really.
I know they can do it, but they disappointed me just too much in the past.
I of course will likely have them on my radar, like every other racing game developer out there (except PC only developers, because I don't play on PC at all).
Codemasters, Turn 10, Playground Games (wich I hate with a passion at the moment), Slightly Mad Studios, Milestone, Kylotonn, Polyphony Digital, Ivory Tower, Eden Games and even Ghost Games and Criterion Games, who did not made a good NfS-Game in 10+ years are at least on my radar.
I'm always looking after good racing games, and they don't have to be always simulation based.
Some sort of really good Burnout or Split/Second would be also cool.-

No trust, no faith.
I played Need for Speed: Shift, Shift 2: Unleashed, Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends and Project CARS from them.
While all of these had good gameplay, nice graphics and cool cars, the driving itself was always garbage with a controller.
Especially Project CARS.
At first I thought about giving them ANOTHER chance when PC2 released, but then I heared quite much negative feedback from the community regarding controls again. So I closed the files for me.
Too bad, the potencial is/was huge, but they got enough chances in my opinion.
PC3 moves directly into the wrong direction, so it was out of question even thinking about it. -
11 minutes ago, FlatOverCrest said:@UnderclassGDfan Thanks for the information. I really appreciate it. I was actually looking at those options last night after trying everything else and was hoping that it wouldn't come to that. That's pretty sad that some users are having to entirety reset their single player progress because of incompatibility after a certain number of patches.
Well, the important part, the My Team Garage, is not affected. This is why I want to make sure you only choose the first option.
This is why I hate online only. Too many things can go wrong, including server issues, disconnects and so on.
Making My Team online only was the most dumb decision Codemasters made in history of all their games. My opinion.
The benefits of it are laughable compared to the negative effects.-

21 minutes ago, RodgerDavies said:I'm not sure that is completely objective, for sure I really struggle to get a pad working well with AC or ACC (and neither supports the d-pad either). PC2 I was able to get working well without a problem, although this was a huge upgrade on PC1 which I personally felt was borderline unplayable.
I'm not too worried though, DR2 has better pad inputs than both of those IMO.
I only own and (tried) to play PC1 with a pad on my xbox. No chance. I tried many controller settings found in the internet.
Never had a satisfying experience.
Didn't bought PC2, I don't give 2nd chances, if something is THIS bad.
PC3 looks like a terrible version of PC2, the controls might be better now, but the rest not.
Will never ever buy a product again wich involved the Slightly Mad guys. -
@FlatOverCrest I had the exact same issue from August 2019 to March 2020. And found a solution.
2 other guys with the same problem I gave the solution to had the crashes then fixed, too.
Unbelieveable this still happens.
It has something to do with the new update, because the problem starts to happen only after updates.
The downside is, you will lose all progress in Colin McRae Scenarios, Historic Championships, all saved Custom Championships and...all Tuning Setups saved.
Go to settings -> profile -> save settings -> first option (reset progress) (do NOT touch the 2nd or 3rd option!)
Read the text on the right side, so you know what you will lose.-

Definitely winter tyres.
Soft tyres are only useful for the 4 non snow/ice short stages.
An extreme asphalt with soft tyres tuning setup could also help.
GTR Technical on youtube has some special asphalt setup for all cars. -

Did you used soft tyres in Monaco 1998?
I remember that was a huge advantage, when I did these. -
1 hour ago, Speedyol5919321 said:TLDR: I was wondering if there is any info about Championship/rally Price money ingame regarding single-player Career mode?
Yes, there is.
Go to My Team -> click on Events -> then you see at the bottom "rewards".
I don't know wich button it is on PC, but on X-Box One it is RT, on PS4 probably R2.2 hours ago, Speedyol5919321 said:-The second 1st place I got no prize money at all.
Strange.
You should get money after every rally and at the end of the championship.2 hours ago, Speedyol5919321 said:This is within the same championship, it's not driving the same event twice. Can I find the prices for the 3rd rally event that is "next up" before I start it for instance? (in the picture) perhaps a price payout list for 1st-5th or how far down you get a reward.
You can only see how much you can get if you get 1st place there.
You obviously get less, if you place worse.
You always get money, just for participating I guess and it gets more, if you advance in difficulty.
I'm at around 250k for a rally win and 1.5 million for a championship win. -

Too early! Still need to learn the car better, to get it on the limit.
I'm still better with the old Fiesta and the Polo. -
The video looks like it wants to escape to the right for me.
But yeah, got the reward too a few minutes ago.
About time! -
Yes, you have only one chance to put a time on the board per week.

18 hours ago, FlatOverCrest said:Update: Sad to say but the shift lights are blocked in the default cockpit seating position of this car which was all the way down and back without any adjustments.
Is there a way to adjust it? (I'm on X-Box One S)
Not that I would do it, because I would have to change it everytime I switch cars...
The problem isn't so huge for me I think.
The engine makes a very distinctive noise when you are about to shift up.
Not ideal, but ok.
It looks to be accurately placed, but a second shift light in the middle of the dashboard, like the additionally added ones on some old cars with a cable going down the dashboard (was it on the 131 Abarth?) would have helped.18 hours ago, FlatOverCrest said:The steering wheel buttons do indeed flicker on this car (Xbox One X V1.16).
One could mean they learned from the reports by me and others regarding other cars like the 911 SC RS, were there were several things that flickered on release of the car and then got fixed later. There are several other cars, who have things like that.
It's a bit distracting and looks unfinished, but ok.
Would I be the designer of the car, I wouldn't be happy with the result, but that's just me.18 hours ago, FlatOverCrest said:To some this is nitpicking but I guess I have been spoiled with all of the other car's driving position views.
We all want the best for the game, don't see what's wrong with that.
They could have been made sure the very last content update is without any problems, if it's the last update, too.
Both of these issues I saw IMMEDIATELY on the first run with the car, I don't get why they said "ok guys, were done, kick the update out".18 hours ago, FlatOverCrest said:I am somewhat bewildered by concerns of this car being faster than the previous version. If it's not faster and improved in meaningful ways then what is the point and why should anyone be excited about a new car? Manufacturers don't usually set out to make an identical performing car to the previous version. I do understand not wanting to have a car that vastly outperforms the other ones in the class but I am fine with it as long as it is accurate. I wouldn't want a car's performance nerfed in a game just for the sake of car balance if it is indeed a faster car. These things wouldn't be as much of an issue if you could specify which specific cars can or cannot be used in multiplayer events.
See it like you. Accuracy is much more important to me than balancing the class.
To sum the things up:
+++ Polo GTI R5 new engine sound -> Wow! Just...wow!
++ Fiesta MkII R5 engine sound
++ Fiesta MkII R5 car design outside
++ Fiesta MkII R5 car design cockpit (except wheel)
+ some additional bug fixes (but unfortunately not the one I reported for AGES)
--- Leaderboards don't load were the Fiesta MkII is on! (only doesn't work on the clubs website, in-game seems fine)
--- didn't received the car in My Team (I know, it's beeing looked at)
-- Fiesta MkII R5's wheel buttons flickering all the time (is distracting and looks bad)
- shift lights are not visible most of the time on the Fiesta MkII R5
At the end, this was another completely free car and an additional awesome surprise, so not much to complain about.
And I'm german, we love to complain about just everything!

4 hours ago, Luvinha said:But the problem is i cannot buy one from the garage because the kitcar never shows up 😞
The car shop has a 2 way rotation system.
If it's not in the current line up of buyable cars, it's in the very next one.
So look at the counter in the corner and be there when the next set comes in.
It's most likely you get always the same set of cars, if your always around the same time in the game.

The problem here is not the AI difficulty or other human drivers (in club events for example), the problem is having the car always under control.
I wouldn't recommend using RWD at the beginning, because these are even harder to drive than 4WDs.
Focus on driving as fast as you can control it.
Going off the throttle sometimes when you feel you lose control before you crash can help.
Many crash because they just push 100% until a tree stops them.
Most of the time people lose more time by crashing then because of pace.
