  1. Hi, I Don't know why, but today impossible to play without this issue. As said a few months ago, when I had the issue, the way to play was restarting the computer, plug the Wheel and pedals, launch Steam and then the game, without doing anything else. After one or two attempts, it was OK to play without issue. Today, I've restarted my computer more than 15 times, nothing to do, the game freezes 1 sec each 3 or 4 seconds. This issue makes me crazy, that's incredible that Codemasters do Nothing when many customers have this major issue. Codemasters guys, wake up please, it's not possible to play the game with this issue. Edit : I tried Obo Fix 1.2, and now the game is working fine. I hesitated because I am always very suspicious of programs not officially signed by big companies. A very very big đź‘Ť to him.
  2. Hello, I don't know if something was done or not on Codemasters's side, or maybe on Steam's side also. I Don't really know because when I had this problem often, I had noticed that sometimes the connection was lost with Steam and sometimes it was OK with Steam which means that the problem was Racenet. But in the past two or three weeks I have not had any connectivity problem with Racenet. I hope it will last.
  3. Hi I will try to keep calm and express myself with a correct language, although it may be complicated. I wonder who is the genius at Codemaster who imposed this **** racenet connection ? Dismiss this idiot please, the only place that would suit him very well is unemployed. For the players, a game is used to have fun, and to face challenges, not to get upset and to be frustrated, obviously some have still not understood… In dirt rally 2.0, players are fighting for seconds, and because of a Racenet Connectivity issue, they take 10 min of penalty !!! In the monthly challenge, after 2 complete rally I was at the 6th place, to less than 2 min from the first. At the end of a very good stage, I had a message "impossible to connect to racenet", and also something like "you should be connected to Steam". After 10 minutes to press on the button "try again" in the game, and to check that I was well connected to Steam, I finally had no other choice than to press on the button "back to the main menu". Once the connection to racenet OK again, I've decided to continue the monthly challenge and to race the next stage, at the end I was curious to see if I had improved my position in the leaderboard, but I had the very unpleasant surprise to see that I was now around the 500th place, to 12 minutes from the first. So I was penalized by 10 minutes and I went from the 6th to the 500th place in the leaderboard because this **** racenet does not work properly… wonderfull ! If those who coded this game had an ounce of intelligence, the result of a stage would be saved locally and then updated once racenet Connectivity back again... but that's not the case. I will not come back to that game for a while, and especially I will NEVER buy one of your games if these problems persist. You want to impose a permanent connection to us, ok, but go out of your way to make it work, and so that your customers are not penalized because of a simple connection problem, it's completely stupid. This game is fabulous but in the end I'm not happy with it because of these racenet Connectivity issues, in addition, instead of playing I've to loose my time complaining about that. Thank you guys, good job 👎
  4. Hi, Here as attached file another DXDiag report, made after playing with the issue. The first one was made after playing without the issue. DXDiag reports comparison could shgow some difference and maybe help to explain what is wrong... DxDiag.txt
  5. Hello, I've the same stutter problem as many other players with Dirt Rally 2.0. It's the first and only game for which I've had this issue (I don't have Dirt 4), I've never had that with the first Dirt Rally. The only solution I've found to play without this stutter issue, is to restart the computer if it wasn't started just before playing. Sometime it's OK after the first restart, and sometimes I've to restart the computer 2 or 3 times, but after the game is 100% stutter free. I really don't knwo why, I've tried many things (game .exe executed as an admin; update every thing on the computer to the latest version, ...) nothing else than restarting the computer before playing helped. To avoid ruinning my chances in the championship in carrer mode, before starting to play in carrer, what I have to do each time : Go to the game menu to buy a new car, select randomly one car, and then test the car. After the presentation of the course, when there are travelings on landscapes, if stutters are present, it will be also the case while driving, I have to restart my computer. If no stutter during the traveling on landscapes, I know that I will have no problem during driving, whatever the duration of my game session. I'll send a DXDiag report to Codemasters if it can help. My computer specs are (from what I remerber, I will edit later if needed) : MOBO: Asus ROG Strix X-299 E-Gaming CPU: Intel i7 7820X COOLER: Corsair Hydro H105 GPU: Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Amp edition MONITOR : Asus Rog Swift PG279Q RAM: 32GB GSKILL SSD: Samsung 850 Pro 1 To (OS + online games) HDD : WD Red or Black 4 To (other games, including DiRT games) PSU : Corsair RM 1000i Sound card : Asus Xonar DX + Sennheiser PC 360 headphones Peripherals: KB -Corsair K70 Lux RGB Mouse - Roccat Kone Aimo Wheel - Fanatec CSW 2.5 wheel base + CSL Elite Wheel P1 + CSL Elite pedals LC Other game controler connected to the computer : Xbox 360 controler (wired) OS : Windows 10 64 pro vers. 1803 Game settings : 1440p and everything set to the max quality I really hope that Codemaster will work on that subject, stutters in a rally game make it unplayable and that's impossible that they are not aware about this issue.
