Season 4 ends in 5 days so I suppose our wait and torture is getting shorter and shorter😅

I really hope for more locations. If we get more cars it will be fine but to be honest, I don't use 60-70% of them. So adding more and more cars is not what I am looking for. Of course I will buy DLC to support the game but my focus is on locations instead of cars. It seems that everyone is getting excited more about cars than about available locations 🙄 I am sure that nobody is using 100% of cars while playing the game. After almost one year after the release date there are cars that I have never tried... I am glad that there won't be Hillclimb. It was fun, for sure, but there is no point of putting it into DR 2.0 in my opinion. I will be happy to get something new but I have no idea what it will be 🤷‍♂️

Event will be whole rally or just one stage? Does anybody know? It would be great to see those colors in Dirt! not only Oliver, first will come Petter’s livery which is great and looks better than Oliver’s 😉

It is simple. Put any name you want instead of the real one and this is what you get. Nothing to get excited about unfortunately 😉

I hate Sweden so much that I just retired after ss1 as it is for me the worst location in this game. If I see something with Sweden I just skip it. So good luck to you and enjoy it because I don’t 😜

For me BMW is too heavy and not so responsive as Lancia. I don’t know how it will work in other rallies but we will find out I guess 🙂

I have never even tried to go with assists, I just don't accept it. I want to make this game as realistic as it is possible. But I don't think that assists can make you faster in any way. I told you all before that Lancia is realyyyyy fast in Monte. And I did this rally in our Polish Club and was smashed by more than a minute to the fastest guys in our club. And rally was shorter than here 🙂If you know how to use those cars, practice a lot with them and also risk a lot you will be flying. If @MongoJon [VR] manages to finish, you will see how it can be driven properly 🙂

Hi Guys! I have not much experience with RWD and this Monte was my third ever rally with this class but it went quite okay I guess. I did no mistakes besides SS6 where I wanted to push even more and did two spins which calmed me down a bit for the rest of the rally 😅 @ApexAzimuth - Stratos was really good in Monte. I am worried about other rallies though. Sweden for sure will be the worst as I hate this rally. I can't stand when I see Sweden. So I am not sure yet if I will try to go there as this rally just makes me furious 😉

I did Monte Carlo yesterday in H3 in our Polish Championship club. I went with Stratos as it seems to be the fastest over there. I don't have any experience with this car class as it was my second ever rally with rwd. So I wonder how fast Lancia is on gravel. But for Monte it felt really good, when I tried M3 it was a disaster for me. Feeling very heavy and not responding at all.

Hi 🙂 it was looking good but unfortunately in SS4 I had small roll and after that I tried to make up some time towards the finish but I hit a bump so hard that send my car out of line and I hit a tree 😞 it might be setup thing as I just jumped into the car and started the rally. pace was good but still missing the final touch at the finish. Looking forward to Argentina though 🙂 your speed was very impressive! What tires did you use?

Argentina done! One of my favourite events in Dirt, really demanding and technical stages with tricky parts, narrow roads with big rocks on the side. Decent run, some mistakes, two spins and one small roll 😅 but I hope for a good result.

I also tried "Launch Event" yesterday but unlike all of you I was using standard lap and for me it was faster way to get around the track. And also I did it with 208

This is exactly what I thought when I tried to play the game yesterday. I was not playing for more than one week, then had to update the game and... I was not able to finish a single stage in USA. It was really strange feeling for me like there was no grip at all. I don't know why is that. And I also noticed that in USA there was no "slowing down" effect when I was going through the watersplash so it got me thinking that maybe something has changed. I was really disappointed yesterday while trying to play. Maybe it's just me after the break but your question is interesting.

I tried to do Sweden but it still remains most disliked event for me 🙂 However without this whiteout conditions it was quite okay to see something. Puncture in SS2, then in other stages I had two spins and on the last one I forgot to darken my screen before the start and struggled to see, got distracted, went off the road and switched off the game For the next two weeks I am out of home so unfortunately I can not compete with you.

So now it turn for the worst rally in this game... I think I will just skip it to save my nerves 😉

I finished USA. It is not really my favourite rally so I struggled a lot. On SS2 I hit a tree and spun. My car was not straight anymore but it was driveable. The biggest disaster came in SS6 where I landed on my roof... So 20 seconds penalty, tried to push on the rest of the stage but caught only 4 seconds. And on the last stage I pushed a lot and probably too much with some mistakes. Generally it was quite good but mistake on SS6 destroyed everything 😉

Regarding future seasons... I had a dream last night! 😂 and it seemed like a real one because I woke up very happy before I realised that is was just a dream 😂 But in this dream I was somewhere at Codemasters and was checking something on their walls, next to me was Jon talking to someone about new season with new locations one of which was Ireland and new cars (I can’t recall them unfortunately but I think it was Xsara WRC). I also promised to Jon that I won’t tell anyone (sorry for that Jon - hope you’ll forgive me). I just had to let you know guys 😉 so let’s hope that at least there will be Season 5 with something, it does not have to be 100% as it was in my dream 😉

Yes. I was using softs and I don’t think that it is possible to gain more than +/- 10 seconds on wet stage with wet tires. You just need to be very gentle and neat with slicks on wet tarmac and in the really fast sections there is not so much difference. Twisty stuff is a bit more complicated. But you gain more time on two dry stages with slicks than in one stage with wets and then on the last stage you really struggle to get any grip from destroyed tires.

No, last stage with wets. But the mixed 4/5/6 were softs.
