Hope we'll have a new update with that RS200 (or the hillclimbing version). And hope the next update (s) will be for free...
-
Yes, I know there are a lot of variation, and place in the correct category could be difficult.dgeesi0 said:well if you look at the wiki there is a few variations. r5 won monaco first go didnt it but there is a few versions it was pretty good until group b 4wd came and conquered.
some r5s were upto 350bhp. so you can argue for and against a few places it could sit.
vjab has been playing/streaming the PS4 version will all the new content in. the alpine looks amazing fun. check him here . hes on every night. https://www.twitch.tv/vajbTV
As fa as I konw the model which had 350 bhp was the 1985/86 Maxi 5 Turbo.
In Spain, between 1987 and 1989 (I think) raced a 4wd Maxi 5 Turbo by the Spanish Renault Sport Team. I think it was made in France by request of the Spanish team. If I found more info, I'll post it here -

SPOILER ALERT!!!!: Alpine A110 gameplay.
After watching this video, I have a small complaint: I saw that the Renault 5 Turbo is included in the same class as the Sierra RS and M3. I'm my opinion is the wrong class. For me the R5 will fit better in the 70's class or RWD Group B class. I'll will explain you my opinion:
The model represented in the game is the "Cevennes" or 1982 season version, which is the last evolution that the R5 saw in Gr. 4 version, with 250 bhp. It was a "bridge" between the original Group 4 (the car which won the 1981 Monte-Carlo) and the first Group B model called"Tour de Corse", just before the release of the wider Maxi 5 Turbo. As far as I know, the original R5 Turbo was homologated and raced as gr.4 in 1979 with the Calberson colours. If they put the R5 Turbo in the same class as the MK II or Stratos, in terms of power, it's the same range but in terms of stage results, maybe the R5 will be beat them. In conclussion: with the homologation form in our hands, the R5 is a Group 4 car that belongs to the 70's class. Ok, it raced in the early 80's, but the MK II, 131 or Stratos raced (with some success) in that years too...
Some of the Cevennes were upgraded and raced as Group B cars in the mid eighties, racing against 037s and Mantas. For me, I would prefer that the developers made the proper "TdC" version to race in the 2WD GR.B, with the different front bumper and narrower but taller wheels.
This is just my opinion. Maybe I'm wrong, I don't know. Cheers from Spain. -
In my opinion, its class it's no the same as the Porsche, it will fit better in the same class as the Toyota GT86 (don't know the class name, GT R3 or something like that)austinb said:That MX-5 doesn't stand a chance against the Porsches, doesnt look good in rally trim though -
I think I'm the only one who wants a R2 / R2T pack... -
Let's gossip about the Renault 5 Turbo. It looks like the "Cevennes" version, released in early 80's before the Group B "Tour de Corse" as an evolution of the original Group 4 (called by some historians "822"). So my question is, it will be a 70's or RWD Group B competitor?
In my opinion, the "Cevennes" it's closer to the Gr.4homologation model.
The same I think about the Alpine. The 1600S for me it's 70's car. As I can see in the video, the game version doesn't have the front radiator and grille that makes it sexier. -
I can't see the Punto Rallycross but I can see a Corsa ahead of the Clio rallycross -
And.. will be the next content available for free? -
-
Does anyone have any info about the release date of the upcoming update? -
I don't believe that we'll have Toyota cars in the game due to license issues, but it will be great!
My top five:
-Renaults (Alpine A110, R5 Turbo/Maxi 5 Turbo, Maxi Megane, Maxi Clio...)
- Citroën Xsara
-Peugeot 206 WRC
- Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX or VI
- 1998 Subaru Impreza WRC -
Or maybe Jimmy's Manta 400...austinb said:
Very cool! so about those 2 other liveries... im guessing one will be the family sierra. The second either colin's Mk2 escort or Jimmy's MG6R4?BrySkye said:
Just to be clear, I only remembered this message AFTER Paul said it had been figured out.
Call it the 'oh yeah' moment from which I suddenly started downplaying the Martini liveries.
You're also not getting the full info, since the only thing that's really been clarified to the point of it being almost certain is the Impreza.Cars wise we probably aren't going to get any more that Burns and McRae drove but we do plan to add some more liveries that should represent McRae on the [redacted] and the [redacted] and maybe, just maybe on the Group A Impreza. You may have to wait till after Early Access ends for those to appear though.

Maybe it's a stupid question, but... will be the new content/updates available for free as happened with the previous updates? -
Sorry, until next weekend I can't play because I'm not at my home due to work issues. Next weekend I'll check that issues and I tell you the stages with troubles. Thank you for your attention.KickUp said:
If you can tell me the exact stages these happen on I can check that we are fixing them in the next update.JuanDíaz said:
Something similar happens in Spanish, at Sweden, in one stage, the last corner is spelled in englishteknoid85 said:@KickUp
hello paul
for the future if i can give you a suggestion try to select and hold the codriver voices better.
and try to take people who have a neutral speak and not those southitalian accent (calabria/sicily.etc.)
i switched on german because of that (i'm italian but my mother is german= i know 3languages :D ) , and german too has two different voices, and sometimes near the end of the stages the last corners are spelled by you in english :) -

I don't know why, but I guess that it can be a new car. Five years ago, we have two Renaults in Dirt 3, maybe The R5 Turbo and the Alpine might appear in DR. Or maybe Toyota...
If only the Clio Maxi was in DR...
I'm hyped about this new content and hope it will be for free. -

Does anybody know how many cars we will have on the next update? A couple of posts ago someone said about 4 -I think- cars to be released. -
-
Well, I think that a new 90's car can be included: the Sierra RS 4x4. Something similar happened with the 2000's class. There are two different shaped Focus. I know that it's unlikely but... impossible is nothing :) -
I think that a R2 class would be interesting too. With the Fiesta, Adam and 208. -
According to Wikipedia, the homologated cars in R4 class are:
- Subaru Impreza (2007 STi, 2009 STi Spec C and 2010 STi)
- Mitsubishi Lancer Evo (IX and X)
- Peugeot 208 (really...)
- Renault Megane RS (I thought that was homologated as N4)
Hope I'm wrong, but I think that the new pack will look as a Subaru cup. Nowadays, I'm excited with the new pack, new cars are always welcome to me!
