I was watching Aarava his Vietnam F1 2020 gameplay while he is using the Overtake button in the 2020 game. What i find strange on the MFD, and wondering what you guys think of this.. The Fuel shows the mix in use, The ERS show the mode in use, The DRS light up in Green when in use.. But when the Overtake button is in use, you don't see "Overtake" light up in the MFD, but the "Disable" option? Should it not be the other way around? When using Overtake button, you should see Overtake light up on the MFD. See for example from 2:15 min on..

Lack of positional info in OSD

Autosave is on? Did you try to re-instal the game? If all above doesnt work, i think you must make a Bug Report, so Codemasters can have a look at this. -
Lack of positional info in OSD

Do you see the OSD adjustment screen? You must see it when starting a race, after select Options on your controller. When you go to the OSD adjustment, you must select the part you want to hide or unhide and confirm with X. Here you can see me hiding the MFD (in dutch): -
Lack of positional info in OSD
GioProductions replied to kamsufc's topic in Gameplay Issues and Bugs TA
You must confirm before you exit the OSD screen. Make sure to do that. Check also if this part is on Race or Training etc: I am on Ps4 (Pro) and have hide almost everything on my OSD, because i have all the info on my Wheel display. -
There is already a topic regarding this with a reply from Codemasters..

Ps4 Pro, F1 add on with Thrustmaster T-GT No issue here. Can you try to delete your wheel settings and add it again? -

I have also assign now a special overtake button and name it also that way. So i am using that for Overtake in the F1 2020 game. Left yello button. Works good. The MFD button is not the MFD for the game, but for my display. So i can toggle between the digital display designs i have (one with info during race, one with tyre temp and 1 with leaderboard info)

Let me try to explain it to you. I use Schortcuts for Fuel and ERS on my wheel, because i have 2 rotate dials on my wheel. Look here: So just by Codemasters "By Design" they have know , they did change the way you could change the ERS in Qualifiying, means i cannot use the Fuel and ERS shortcut, because those button are the same as you would use as "D-Pad" button. Large this picture and look at the 2 rotate dials and the D-Pad buttons, they have the same option and cannot be changed in the game. If they would use the same button as you use in Practise, non of this issue would be! But i doubt Codemasters will change it, so we are screwed 😖

This is 100% the issue! I wish Codemasters could read this and understand what the issue is.. @BarryBL

Can't choose my T500 steeringwheel on PS4
GioProductions replied to Goeiste's topic in Gameplay Issues and Bugs TA
The T500 should work with F1 2020. It is listed: I am wondering, if you connect the wheel to the Ps4 with the Usb cable (and power cable is connected), does your wheel make the start turn around? After that, you will need to press the start button on your wheel. Did you do that? Dont forget to press the PS button after that! This is what it says on the manual read it carefully: On PlayStation®4, with the USB sliding switch (5) in the PS4™ position: * Don't forget to press the racing wheel’s PS button (8) in order to be able to use the wheel. * The wheel is recognized in most games as a T300 RS wheel. * The wheel is functional in compatible games and in console menus. -
yes, exactly that last part. I would do my outlap on none and when starting the Quali lap, i would put it on Hotlap, so i am sure i start with 100% ERS. But the problem i have with this in Quali, is just the way that Codemasters decided to use again other buttons for changing that. And i use the Shortcuts ERS option in the game, but that works with Practise, but not with Quali. So i would need to use other buttons again just to do that, but we are limited on buttons on some wheel 😞 And i am happy i am not the only one with this, as you can see here. But doubt Codemasters will do anything..

I did not know that. That the Personalized strategy was based on your Fuel test program etc. Thanks 👍

awaiting bug report Force feedback issue while turning under braking
GioProductions replied to Tomekjunior's topic in Gameplay Issues and Bugs TA
Ps4 pro with Thrustmaster T-GT with F1 Add on. Understeer is OFF. Did notice this also. You can try to replicate this on Austria, turn 3 and 4. It is really noticable on those 3 turns for example. My FFB settings: I did not had this with the F1 2019 game. I use the same FFB settings on F1 2019 and F1 2020. Hope this helps to try to replicate this. This was from Day 1 of the game, but also now on 1.05 -
2nd point: "By Design" says Codemasters. But i really dont like that By Design part, as i feel we should use the same ERS manage button as we use in Practise. We have a topic regarding this:

wtih developers Overtake button as hold rather than on/off
GioProductions replied to mikehaller88's topic in Suggestions
Yes, a corner like Vietnam has for example or Baku after the castle part. Sometimes the FFB is heavy with a T-GT steering base. I dont even want to know how it is with a DD wheel 😉 I hope also as an option for hold or on/off. Like you said, everybody wins then -
We want the same..you are not alone..

I am wondering if Codemasters is even looking at the Suggestions topic, but i will try anyway.. I like the new OSD changes you can do on Console with F1 2020. You can toggle between "Race", "Practise" and "Pit" settings, but if you choose, for example, to hide the MFD in Practise, it will also hide it automatically in Race or Visa Versa. Suggestion: Make it possible to have 3 REAL dedicated OSD setting for Practise, Race and Pit.

GioProductions replied to mikehaller88's topic in Suggestions
I think in the end, Codemasters will not change it. I remember with the 2019 game, one hot topic was the one were we did ask to bring back the Co-Op championship mode... you all know the end result.. -

That is an android phone (Samsung S4) in a holder. On Android i use SIM Dashboard app for the Telemetry data from the F1 games. Works great
