That's some great results with 8 titles. How many races per season did you have?

and which AI level 😉 ? with Flashbacks used or not? How many races per season? Race lenght ? and so on 😉 ..... until it is "great" we need more data 😛

  2. just watched the highlights from the race again, that looked freaking scary, I cannot remember when I saw a car damaged like this before since I watch F1 (1994) - broken in 2 pieces plus light up in fire....damn, great that Roman sent already a message from the hospital on instagram.

You have to test your wheel mate in the Controller Settings Calibration tab.. after press the throttle pedal and check if the bar hits the 100%.. do the same thing in the brake pedal.. if you aren't at 100% (what I think that could be your case) you have to put some Saturation values.. put 5 for starting and check.. put 10 and check.. if you hit the 100 % the Calibration is done.. but you probably could have some problem in your pedals..

I know mate, recognized this yesterday as I said in Austria...to my surprise I got second place in France with this setting 😄 but austria 100 AI showed me something is wrong...now pedals are both hitting 100%

  4. Just realized yesterday in Austria, that my throttle pedal just goes to 83% and my brakes till 72%....and I wondered why I cannot match my pad time....adjusted,2 laps in TT, pad time equalized by 0,5sec 😄 seriously I was doing 30 laps before I realized smth is wrong with my power output

  5. hi guys, so I switched to automatic shifting now, made my first myTeam race again with that, Canada was my savegame ;) AI 96 50% length, my race was ok, I was in P12 just all the time and 4 laps before the end the wall of champions got me, DNF - anyhow, the race was clean and stable until that crash, getting used to it.

I bought a Wheel Stand as well in the meantime, makes everything better :) thanks for your tipps here guys.

    Cheers

  6. I can confirm this that the AI is the best in 20...not perfect, still of track action missing in my opinion, they are driving too perfect, but it is ok. They loose traction at least once in a while and even crash sometimes. There is way to improve though.

I noticed this too now in November. I'm almost sure they were on soft also. But still was something far away from what they did in previous editions. The weaving was waaay more significant and realistic.

Yeah, I think that it wasn't there in the first patches, but I also can see them celebrating now.

But now they do it in formation laps?! Somewhere in the last patches it was updated right?

AI 90? Damn, I thought you're struggling mate, but actually you're killing it. I just increased the AI to 70 and found it pretty challenging.  😅

hi mate, yesterday I have made 3 GP`s to get used to drive against the AI with the wheel and used my old AI settings ;) made a 50% race in Baku (AI 91) with Albon, P16 to P14, just needed 3 flashbacks result of not used to drive with used tires ;) one in Silverstone (AI 91) 25% with Stroll P14 to P7 and one in China (AI 92) with Bottas just 5 laps P3 to P4.

I did a quick qualifying before to see where my times are.

So that was quite well, I was happy with the races. Still need more training to get used to race against AI cars with the wheel, some more single GP`s then I can go back to myTeam I hope.

    Thanks for your advice guys!

    Cheers

  9. Mate seriously, that looks awesome 😎 i cannot share mine because it is kind of embarassing 🙈😄 but if I would have that kind of gaming set I would need choose between my wife and the gaming 😂 sometimes I feel second 😄

No man I have to build up my wheel and pedals everytime I play and store it afterwards 😄 but for the first impression it works. It will be improved in a later stage when I have a proper plan for it and storage space 😉

Made my first race against 90 AI in Bahrain from 14 to p7 with Mercedes without any damages or trips away from the track. Still a long way though, but I was always pretty solid in racing games so I am looking forward 😎

  10. That was my first approach,to feel the correct feedback from the wheel. I think I found a sweet spot where I feel comfortable with. It is now just getting used to it,as written my last wheel was with Grand Prix 3...

The toughest to get used to is not throwing the stick into one direction, now I have to steer really especially China first long corner for example 😄 my laptimes which I set with the pad were pretty good, tough to get there...right now 2sec plus...but hey, gettimg used to it more and more.

he difference in accuracy, handling in general and being able to put in constant lap times is huge - in particular on tracks like Silverstone or Suzuka.

I agree mate with SIlverstone and Suzuka, the accuracy I feel as well. The rest is like you wrote, getting used to it takes a while. I am still not able to match my pad times...but time will come, I will keep learning ;) thanks guys

  12. Hey guys,

Just wondering, how long do I need training to get back to my pad laptimes with a wheel? Just bought one yesterday and was doing some laps to edit my values that the wheel does what i want. But i am not even close to my pad times,2-3 sec slower.

    I use ABS,traction contr middle,gears auto,the rest switched off.

Shall i go directly for gears manual? Or trying first reaching laptimes with my pad settings?

Damn that looks like a long way ahead.

I have got the t80 now, just to get used to it.

My last wheel was a Logitech when I played Grand Prix 3 😄 so quite a while ago

Were can i see this very clear? So i can test it. I had before the Ps5, the Ps4 Pro

for example when the starting grid is presented and you see some cars textures pop up late on the ps4 pro and it looked "washed" not clear, after a few seconds it loads and it is clear. further when you create your own car in myTeam and you have 2 colors in cockpit view, for example white and red, the color cut has huge pixels (there is a threat in bug forum about this topic, but I don`t know how to link it 😄 )

ah there we go, there you see what I mean

I have downloaded F1 2020 on the Playstation 5 and must say it looks much more 4K now than it has before on the PS4 Pro. Additionally it runs much smoother now like constant 60 fps. The loading times are a lot faster also. So far big improvement to PS4 version! 👍

sounds good mate, maybe you can check the texture issue as well. 🙂 enjoy guys!

Same here. My Ps4 Cloud save works perfect on Ps5. The frame rate looks stable also.

are the texture issues fixed? late texture loading for example?

  15. What I recon now in my 4th season is,that R&D isn't that big factor.

I have Leclerc driving in a midfield Ferrari (acc R&D) and he is always top 4 in the grid in qualy same for Verstappen. LEC just got pole in Spain, and HAM 3rd in a top Mercedes, which is pretty cool I find. My car is the best but the challenge is still given with my sliders.

  16. Hi guys,

following situation. We have a pretty nice living room, where our TV is as well for sure and my PS ;)

I wanna switch to a Wheel from my Nacon Pro Pad now.

Problem is, I need an idea to store it that no one is disturbed by it ;) so installation when I want to play and storage need to be quite easy and fast.

I was thinking about a wheel stand, but I do not know if it is easy to store afterwards as it is quite huge as well with the wheel attached then...

Any ideas or same problem with the "General" wife at home who does not really understand our passion? :D

    Thanks
