I never use it. If I make a mistake you got a take it on the chin like you would in real life. Your driving style can change as you can take huge risk and just use a flashback if it goes wrong.

Problem is you are the only one in the grid who is doing mistakes as the AI does not fail,so it is fair to use flashbacks

I think what happens with the DRS is that it can either get stuck open or closed, which will obviously have different consequences.

you don`t want this to happen when it is open, so tough to drive then, I had it once like this, in closed position I have it every 3 - 4 races I would say

Looking at these modded liveries makes me so jealous. Codemasters will need to go that extra mile to give us console players the same thing next year or there will be lots of complaining from my part 😈

well when you start to complain I think then they react finally, you should go ahead :classic_tongue:

when you want that liveries buy a computer and play it there ;) CM does not have to do anything in relation to this, this is fan art and not CM work

    I don't know why I don't get mistakes 😞

same, I just have 1-2 DNF`s per race, otherwise not really much is happening, or I just do not see it, could also be. I would be happy if it just would be that the AI misses the imaginary raceline once, taking a corner on the wrong line, going out on the gras or something like that

it depends, on training sessions I use it sometimes when I get used to the track. Or in qualy when I messed up totally (I would not do it if the AI would also do mistakes, but they always have the perfect lap)

In the race I try to avoid it, but due to little kids where you have to pause the game and it brings you out of the rhythm then I use it sometimes, normally the point of usage is when something from the real world cuts my concentration ;) but it does not happen often as I play normally very late in the day.

  6. Just check them before you enter the race weekend on your "contracts" tab or sponsor tab,not sure how it is named

  7. this question goes more to @BarryBL because I do not know if this is a legal issue.

Why can you not choose the engine supplier Logo as a Sponsor for your car?

I mean the Engine supplier is real and in F1, where is the issue using their logo for your own car?

Or is it possible to implement? I mean it is just a picture which would be needed to add ?

  8. this is so generic, they should also do another lap when they messed up the first one, so +1 lap on the first try. Or in rainy conditions they should go directly for 4-5 laps like in real, there no one is doing just 1 lap. this should be a bit more random than this generic as it is

  9. Hi all,

I did this for 2019 as well and it worked quite well for some guys.

Please consider 90 as a mid value which I started with, you will see the adjustments track by track.

MyTeam, 50 % races, Thrustmaster T80 - adjustments done due to my team rating performance, Qualy done with Bottas compared to Lewis. manual Shift, middle TC, ABS on, rest off

With those settings you should be in the grid where you need to be in your first season, you are good when you make it to Q2 - as you improve your car during the seasons, surely you get better, but settings can stay

Feel free to discuss this otherwise enjoy 😉

  10. sure mate, it takes time to build up a winning team, but you are even more happy when you got your money ;) at the end of the season you will get a nice payout when you manage to reach the goals from your sponsor and your seat in the constructors championship also brings in money. I was 9th in the contructors, reached the goal from sponsor, got a pay out of 18 Mio at the end of season 1.

How, by the beard of Zeus, do you get one race weekend a day in when you have kids?  I have to get up at sparrow's fart to sneak in an hour before the daily carnage begins.  A race weekend on 100% will take me between 3-7 days depending on how much work the wife needs to do in the evenings.

:D good question, first of all I drive just 50% races. I am used to the tracks so I do not need that much practice sessions, just do 3-4 practice programs, qualifying ends normally in Q1 with my car actually ;) so you are right, could be that I need 2 days for a race weekend. but I see you know the struggles ;)

How long was the race? Did you pit? What fuel were you using? Was the track far too dry for wets at the end? Any assists? How competent is your driving? What difficulty was the AI? What track was it? Did you touch the wet kerbs? Were your tyres worn?

There are so many variables that it is difficult to answer your question.

    Sure mate,it was 50% in Silverstone, AI 90,abs on,traction middle,gears auto

I am on it since Grand Prix 2,so i guess quite good driver.

It was absolutely time to switch to inters, track was drying, but just 3 laps left i stayed on total wet,the AI as well, tyres were used 34% so still ok. Fuel mix standard.

Problem was i had no grip at all, the AI seems not bothering for this "new" conditions on the track even with full wets.

  13. Hey guys, following situation. Heavy rain entire race, all guys are on full wets. I hold my position easy, clear race. Few laps before the end of the race it starts to dry up,normally Int weather but 3 laps before race end no one changes. From now on i am the only dude in the grid who seems to have no grip at all anymore. The AI is still driving perfect. What do i have to adjust in that moment??? Crazy how much time i have lost during the last 3 laps -.- i was so angry because the AI drove for sure without issues and my perfect race was ruined...

  14. Austria I had now 101 to be there where i should be,started 18th,finished 18th.

So i guess now in silverstone i have to lower it than 90 when i read through

  15. also my approach, I compare my car to the Williams & HAAS at the moment, if I am 1 sec faster than Magnussen and company like in Canada I needed to increase

  16. yes the video explained the usual workaround, but Barcelona does not set the correct pace for Canada or Austria for example, but for newcomers it is a good point "to start from" now it needs to be explained to newcomers how you make the correct AI level in myTeam ;) as your second driver cannot be the pace.
