    I agree on the liveries, that grey reversed looks oddly like it's the case. The suspension on the 208 is weird though, the IRL picture is under compression, it's turning left.

    Not a bug, functioning as intended, the shifter lights are to tell you when to shift, not when you hit redline. Most turbo rally cars are tuned for torque and you don't always redline them.

    Auto-clutch preventing engine stalls from locking the wheels/handbrake etc. when manual sequential option is selected. Auto is everything fully automatic - auto clutch, no stall Semi auto is same as above but you can change gear yourself or let it do it for you - auto clutch, no stall. Manual sequential is the same as above but you're required to change gears - auto clutch, no stall. Manual H-pattern requires h-box - auto clutch and no stall Manual H-pattern with clutch - real clutch, stalls. Manual H-pattern or manual sequential - auto clutch, no stall. Manual H-pattern with clutch or manual sequential - real clutch, stalls on h-pattern cars and auto clutch, no stalls on sequential cars. I understand the reasoning for clutched options in game as not everyone has a clutch, but for the game/assist option of clutch override, i would expect it to allow clutch use (other than just kick) Perhaps the solution is to have another new option (sorry guys) for Manual Sequential with clutch ?

    Loved the Manx International rally video, brought back memories of my many miles round the island - the roads there are superb, and notice the F2 cars they were running, that'd be an amazing location to have in DR 2.0, the rain and fog really changes up the roads there on a daily basis, lots of fun (not?) clearing your visor as you climb through the mountain section (my miles there were on motorcycle)

    The only way i can make my screen look like yours (also running at 1440) is to set the wipers to intermittent or off.

    Turbo blow off sounds when using pedals is better, read works now (thankyou!!!) but still requires *very* quick release of throttle so does not play as often as gamepad or keyboard. Using G27 pedals - time to go from full throttle to off throttle on pedals takes longer than keys and gamepads, needs a slight tweak to the fix employed for pedals in 1.9.

    All platforms, specification of NR4 EvoX is incorrect based on FIA rules for car/class as well as from previous title (Dirt4) which had the correct weight - Version in DR2 went on a laxative diet and thinks it's a GrpA car or didn't tell the FIA it was 4WD. That a lot of weight lost and causes quite the issue between the only two cars in that category.

    7:42 is easy in the Spacestar if you can make it through without a puncture, and i'm not really fast. (i did get a puncture so i'm slower in the actual WC)

    It would be an amazing entry for DR2.0 - especially after all the 2.0 reference to Colin McRae rally games etc. Maybe try for that Legacy too! @PJTierney see what you can drum up for us please 🙂

Oh that last point about Subaru, @tbtstt - I agree, but i'll say one thing, that car might now be down at minimum weight for the regs, but it's still oversized, that was really obvious watching this event, so much at turn two, just trying to get it to rotate, barge special 😞 They're having to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, and tbh it's almost working. Last point, i disagree with Bakkerud's penalty - it's obvious that the extra nudge from behind is what rotated his car to have it's nose up inside Foust's car, and as any race driver would do, he floored it into the gap, legit racing moment in my eyes.

    Look at the gear selection type, i can't remember what it's called now but it should be fairly obvious.

    That's essentially in the game now, though a few cars have the wrong box type selected.

    Er, why? do i need to do that? I'm fairly certain my description not only fit, but contained the right info too. I like your idea of having a client that just be used to view - but the issue is exactly the fact it's not streaming visual data, it's just game data, so yes, you need the whole set of game resource files at minimum, not worth anyone's time downloading that much data for a viewing client. Remember that streamers (twitch, youtube, facebook etc.) already perform this function.

    You must understand that a streaming service distributes visual data, whereas an in-game spec mode will invariably send game data for the game client to interpret. Without the assets, you have nothing, the dumb client you're referring to would need to have all the same data files the game does, again, it's not streaming visual data, it's just game data, the info as to where/when it should place and display assets.
