More new direct feed gameplay footage from Hollie.
More bang bang and that beasty aggresive engine sound confirmed. I can hear the gear change also got some love. Great job @soundfx
There is a lot of mix stuff and other work done by Dave, but the car/recording has to have the pops, bangs etc there in the first place. The new R5 recording is excellent :) -
@KickUp @urgaffel
Have you fixed the bug in the Fiesta R5 where the windscreen wipers think the bottom of the sunshade is the top of the screen? :) It looks pretty funny in the PS Access vid :D -

Nice answer, but it's only going to take one of us dicks (raises hand) to ask for you to post it.... Or at least ask if @xtinamcgrath wouldn't mind adding it to, or posting it after the car list goes up.

Alright, couple of things i hope people find interesting whilst we await imminent new info from Codies :)
Those who watched the videos on the previous page will have noticed the CrossKarts racing at the end, basically a 600ccc supersports engine (bike) shoved in a Kart - translation, nuts.
Here's Aleksander Wiik racing them.

The Crosskart is one of the other vehicles Codemasters were able to record last year, as you can imagine, and, for the same reason as the 306 Maxi, they needed a recording to get this to sound right, super high revving ~14k RPM.
Here's someone in Germany who made a pseudo "replica" Audio S1, i call it pseudo and put it in quotes because, well you'll see.

It's entirely possible that, if licensing, then they have to "make one up" -
I thought the interiors were modelled after the cars they got access to? If not, then anything "off" is down to licensing again. -
What planet are you on!?
WHERE do you think the water would come from!? The wheels are BEHIND the bumper cams! -
Then why don't you actually look at how and why water gets on your screen.
We will answer what we can, but your belief in physics from another dimension will only complicate matters. -
Water is for the windscreen and for handling, not your freaking bumper! -

ahhh and the majority answers on my posts werent spam? Interesting! very interesting!
The frontbumper camera should get wet if I drive through a river of water ..
I dont talk about 3rd person.
But honestly realism goes too far here. Immersion and fairness shouldnt suffer from preferred camera on such an avoidable way.
You can't make stuff up to suit your desire! Where would the water come from?
-
Bumper cams are on the bumper.
Bumpers rarely ever get water on them, they're above the water and it's the wheels behind them that kick it up.
Now please stop spamming, your rants are pretty hard to follow. -

D4 does have water splashes, that's Coleman approved ;)
Demon, um, care to explain *how* you would see water on the bumper cam?
What he means is - bumper camera - no watter effect.
Dashcam - effect (player has limitted vision for about a second before the wipers work).
He wants it on both.
That's not what I asked.
Where does the water come up to on water splashs. -
Stupid forum formatting is too short.... -

What's your point, exactly??
Use chase cam, no water up there....
Use the no external camera difficulty option, problem solved.
You can't penalise people using external cams (arguably the more casual players) for something so rare and irrelevant as a water splash, they have no way of clearing it. You'd just change to a chase cam if you are using a bumper cam. -
Yeah, that does look like a Female driver and Male co-driver.
I'm guessing based on Grid games and the increased amount of personal customisation of *you* taking part in a career, that your sex is going to be a choice too. -

Yeah, @xtinamcgrath has been mentioning it a lot lately.JZStudios said:Did I hear Micro Machines?
HYPE.
I did see there was a large area at DirtFish, also ghost car at DirtFish.
He was messing up quite a few things, he needs to use a script, so i wouldn't take his place names without a pinch of salt. -
Awesome!

I'm curious, you guys still getting planked on download charges/limits? -
Sadly, there are very few countries (less so these days) that care about that size of digital, Australia, because they live in a Baron wasteland, and the UK, because draconian private companies giving decent speeds to only the highest population densities :(urgaffel said:50Gb is roughly what you can fit on bluRay so it makes sense that most games are around that size these days. Painful when you buy things digitally though... :( -
I have no problems running over 100 fps in 2k with my RX480, to the point of "needing" an in game frame limiter as in Greece I get over 144 fps in places.
*Edit - should add that's max gfx except shaders (motion blur) and that horrible one no one uses. -
Weight is a massive thing in all racing, especially rally, you won't see hybrids or electric cars unless the class demands it.

@urgaffel I didn't really want to bring this up as it should be obvious to everyone (bar one) but here's what you will, or most likely will not see via the bumper cam so far as water splashes go.
