How exactly do you mean about using a clutch with sequential? Only time you would us for 'override' and starting off. -
The cars are grouped in performance categories now, rather than year groups as Dirt Rally was.
There are historic classes for obvious reasons, but one example given was the Alpine now being moved "up" and no longer in the 60's "class" -
I think we're going to have most of the rally cars from Dirt Rally. -
The GrpA 205 is front wheel drive, and that's obviously confirmed. -
I run a Freesync setup on a 1440p screen, works very nicely.
Only thing is when frame rate goes below maybe 25 or over the 144 MHz max (144 fps), it's not so smooth. -
It doesn't remove it, but it helps.
In game limiter will fix everything for people with freesync and gsync, right now when I get over 144fps in Greece, the feeling goes really bad and the display is not smooth. -
Which version of the engine is D4 on?
I feel it my have been adressed a while back, I just wondered if the F1 2016 engine was a starting point?
Also, can we please have the ability to limit the frame rate in game? -
It's funny the MSport gearboxes are in question here, on day 1, Ogier said the gerarbox wasn't right and they were tweaking it, then we heard nothing more about that all weekend. -
Those of you thinking they staged the number plate should watch this.

Yes, the motion detection failing, it looks really bad, however i'm using the highest setting of 50mb/sec and it still does it :( All hardware too. -
Agreed, but i'm not talking about that bug, which i don't really suffer from, i'm talking about bitrate of the output, it's terrible in places/patches in the picture.SergeyTokarev said:
Recording videos from DR using AMD card is a bad idea, 'thanks' to a nasty graphic bug on AMD cards with DR. I hope it won't be the same with D4.F2CMaDMaXX said:Recording DR seems to be bad generally, i've used AMD re-live as well as their previous version and also another encoder, i get them trying to be 'smart' and i get pixalisation everywhere.
You can see this a lot in many of the videos online right now of D4, it mainly affects the oncoming road texture.
@KickUp I'd rather to watch a good clean run than a footage from journalist who crashes all the time. -

You gotta stop assuming stuff :(
DLC does not mean it costs money.
Pre order DLC does not mean it doesn't become available later (it always does)
They have already said it wasn't confirmed how it will be available later. -
I don't know of any pre-order DLC that wasn't available later, nearly all publishers use a timed exclusive for this purpose, they never normally say it's a timed exclusive, or that it will be available later, but that's the case. -
I meant the answers in the negative, not the answers themselves being negative points. -
I'm more than certain that you said all this and got the answers several pages back, and they're all in the negative.DeMoN1111111 said:I love the direction arrows from DR that they look like written with chalk or sth like that. Now they look rather clean xD
ya I really loved the arrow design of DR :)
And I hope we see surface changes this time. Not like in DR 100% gravel or 100% tarmac
I'd like to see a mud to tarmac transition or even a gravel, tarmac, mud mix!
Not just tarmac and ice as the only combination we currently have. But with these short tracks it limits a bit the possibilities, but should be still doable better than before.
and include to choose a tyre type. Which tyre to choose if the track has 30% tarmac, 40% mud and 30% gravel - and next track maybe much tarmac etc, there is where type of tyre gets interesting. This was implemented in Rally Racing 97 and was cool :)
And please include more weather in the career! At the DR career - the clouds almost never break!

I agreed to Kev's post, but not the locking out of options part. Kev has posted that kind of ask before, but it comes from a narrow focused field of use, that everyone has a wheel of a certain spec, it's an interesting idea, but not one that would come close to working without everything having a console-like experience, all with wheels. -
Hmm, even temporarily a joystick would work..... -
I have to drive on the wrong side of the road, so it made sense to put my shifter on the right, still need a suggestion for a cheap/easy way to get a USB handbrake so I don't have to rubber band my shifter. -
I can only see PS4 and XBOne pre orders on Amazon.... :( -
I'm glad you were able to tell us what exists on tracks in the real world, non of us, especially the devs, knew any of that.
Also, i would imagine that RR 97 didn't have simulated tyres. -
Serious point here, you may *never* find it whilst on a button. I had to sacrifice my H shifter for it, no buttons ever worked for me :( -
It just occurred to me that @Rallycameraman might be there for pictures/scanning to be in game?

I loved the two specials in DR, early access badge and VIP shield :)

****EDIT.
So not quite as i remembered the article, but they wanted it fairly stock looking, they used the IOM TT record car as a base.
