  1. I can confirm aswell, running all Windows 7 Auto Updates fixed the launch fail for me. Thank you!
  2. Hello, I have been trying all your mentioned solutions without success. The game doesn't start at all. No game window is opening. Nor any signs of activity in task manager. The game executable just isn't doing anything. Reinstalling of steam and the game in different locations did not help. I am already in email contact with you. I realy hope you can find a solution. Thank you very much for your efforts.
  3. I have updated Windows 7 with SP1. DirectX 11.1 should now also be installed as part of the update package. Unfortunately the game still doesn't want to boot.
  4. Dear Codemasters, F1 2019 Anniversary Edition does not want to start via Steam. When I try to run the Direct X 11 version it looks like steam is executing the game for 2 seconds but nothing more happens. I do not even reach a loading screen or a crash report. I reinstalled Steam and F1 2019 a couple of times and in different folders. I have also tried your troubleshooting suggestions below - no effect. My system specifications are: Intel i5 750 Geforce GTX 760 8 GB RAM Win 7 64 Bit I have also tried older GPU drivers and deactived steam overlay. My last game F1 2016 runs smooth and stable with good graphics. I am matching minimum system requirements and since the game is still based on the same engine and also runs on consoles I cannot figure out why it is not working for me. Searching for solutions I have stepped up on similar reported issues with F1 2017 and F1 2018. F1 2018 wont launch F1 2018 crashes on loarding screen Maybe the problem is specific to older CPUs not beeing supported correctly? Or could it be due to the missing F1 2019 game folder in /documents/mygames ? Copying it seems to have helped others too. I have wasted hours trying to fix this and am waiting for days to play what seems to be an amazing game. I am realy hoping for help soon. Thanks in advance. Yours sincerely Patrick [EDIT 07/04/2019]: Running Windows Update solved the issue for me. DxDiag.txt
