I may have already posted this, but I felt like bringing it up again. I suggest adding classic cars and F2 cars for leagues instead of just having the 2020 cars or the multiplayer cars as the selectable roster. Have the classic cars and F2 cars as an option for roster. Not just in private leagues, but also in public leagues. I personally think including classics and F2 as an option in leagues would be a great update, even if it's only a minor tweak to the multiplayer section.

Schumacher DLC Removal | STEP THIS WAY
Involved In It replied to BarryBL's topic in F1® 2020 Game Forum
Involved In It on Xbox. I had my pre-order purchase failed and had to repay just over $100 to play it again. -
Leagues are not a new concept in the F1 games. Since they were brought as a feature in F1 2019, it was a very cool feature. The only downside I didn't like was that you could only choose your multiplayer livery if it was public; and either multiplayer livery or the official F1 cars if it was private. What I want to see featured in this game is the selection of classic cars and maybe even F2 into the car selection in league races, either public or private. Select either the C1 class of classic cars; C2 class; or combine them together.

I once read an article from RaceFans featuring an interview with Lee Mather. Mather said a track takes around a year's worth of man hours to build. The article is right here if you want to have a read. I apologize for being a killjoy, but it would be a challenge to construct a whole track in a sim-racing game.

Glad to know. If I'm being honest, I'm too eager to find out.

DAMAGE MODEL, RED FLAGS & MORE FOR F1'S NEW GAME?
Involved In It replied to SamReaN's topic in General Discussion
With all due respect, everyone has their own approach for writing or typing a sentence. People are critiqued differently for how they write/type a sentence. Either if that sentence has proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, linguistics, semantics, and syntax; or if it's all abbreviated words; everyone is different. Perhaps a certain gene in people caused them to write a sentence however they wish, even if it's to Capitalize The First Letter In Each Word, or write words in ALL CAPS. It's what they are accustomed to. A mild fault in a sentence shouldn't be critiqued harshly. I never thought I would become such a smart-A on the internet... I didn't want to infuriate anyone, I wanted to clear something up. -
I'm perplexed as to why the Mercedes car can't be shown... ...are they implementing something top-secret into the car? Perhaps the controversial DAS system? ...of course, probably not.

2019 is nearing the end. There have been some great games released; and some not-so-good games released. But, as 2020 approaches, there are several new games that we are anticipating. What might be some games you're eager to see?

I know it isn't really required to say 'Done', but I've submitted my application.

A bit early to choose or express what ideas should be featured, so I'm gonna wait until the game is released or until a YouTuber explains how the game feels.

I personally don't prefer to have different "variations" of the same game. Like last year's game had the 'Legends Edition" and the regular version. Shouldn't it at least be the same exact game, but either as unlockables or DLC? Buying the same game for a higher price for four new cars sounds more steep than buying the original game with a DLC containing four cars for like ten dollars (dramatization).

Okay, to reduce ambiguity, what I meant was equal cars in Grand Prix mode; not career mode... ...I guess it's not in favour anymore... ...I also wished I said it earlier...

Welcome to the team, mate. Some people like Ben (Tiametmarduk) speculate that the 2020 cars (maybe tracks too) might be added into the 2019 game. After reading several articles, there is no verified date for the 2020 game yet. If I may say a ballpark estimate as to when we may receive any form of announcement of the game, I would shoot hopefully by this month, maybe into next month. My estimate is no longer than by the end of May. If we do get an announcement later than May, I'll be fine with it. But that's just me and my guesses.

Codemasters Confirmed- ALL 22 tracks
Involved In It replied to FOneFanatic's topic in General Discussion
Well, at least we can still have a 22-race season on the game. -
If there's something that should be added, for single-player especially, it should be equal engines. We've seen equal engines only on multiplayer, and I feel like equal engines should also be a feature for offline single-player.
-
So, should we be expecting a teaser trailer soon? Like that of F1 2019?
-
Since Codemasters adds new classic cars to the list every year, I figured, why not ask which ones we would like to see in next year's game.
-
After Codemasters acquired SMS Studios, I at least believe that the next game should have a graphical enhancement over last year's game. SMS's games Project CARS and Project CARS 2 had some very great graphics, so I predict the graphics for F1 2020 would look substantially better than F1 2019.

Each level indicates your overall experience in online racing. After completing a race, you'll earn a certain amount of skill points. This varies depending on your performance in the race. Bronze, silver, and gold are typically your rankings of beginner, skilled, and expert (something like that). The platinum is considered 'Master Rank'. Achieving it requires many hours of racing online (ranked or unranked) and improving your racing style and etiquette.

I do share a mostly-love relationship with the game. But there are some things that aren't right. Yes, the game does look nice, but it's a near carbon-copy of 2018, and 2017. The main things that substantially change each year are the main menu, the roster, the drivers, some animations, sometimes career mode... ...what else...? The appearance and presentation is nice; the overall gameplay is sometimes disappointing. It was the same thing over the past 3 or 4 F1 game titles. Many things we wished for weren't put into the new release. I am way too eager for F1 2020. When it gets announced, I hope it WON'T be a carbon-copy, or ctrl-c-ctrl-v like F1 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 20... I'm only hoping it's gonna be a huge uplift from the previous games, and have new appearances and visuals.

Idea for F1 2020 Codemasters - Historical Circuits
Involved In It replied to PatrickSperi's topic in General Discussion
Maybe have: - Magny-Cours - Adelaide - Nurburgring and maybe have different variations of the current (or past) tracks. Such as the variations of Monza or Silverstone. -
F1 2020 - Wishlist/ideas/hopes/suggestions for the future F1 Game(s)
Involved In It replied to Mobcat94's topic in General Discussion
Some more I suggest: - Parts of the car that could fail or breakdown (e.g. the driveshaft, brakes) - Soft-body physics may seem rather extreme, but at least it makes the damage model more realistic, combined with front wing and/or rear wing pieces flying off - AI drivers making mistakes (i.e. clipping grass, brushing a wall, corner-cutting, crashing into another driver or wall, spinning out) - AI drivers using common sense, such as if there is a wreck on the track, they can use the escape road to drive past - Penalties for unsafe release on pit road * - Drivers from the lower series rank up to F1 [i.e. AI driver(s) from F2 ranking up to F1 each year] *career mode -
With a game that offers so much customization, beyond stunning graphics, a showroom, saving highlights, weekly challenges, leagues, eSports, and a variety of series (i.e. F1, Classic Cars, F2) to play, resisting to buy it would be deranged; like being a huge Apple fan, but not buying the latest iPhone.

F1 2020 - Wishlist/ideas/hopes/suggestions for the future F1 Game(s)
Involved In It replied to Mobcat94's topic in General Discussion
I'm not entirely sure if this will ever happen. But something I wanted to see is using your multiplayer car in Grand Prix mode (single-player). I know it sounds counterintuitive, but if one has very bad internet and wants to use their custom car, I feel like we should be permitted to use our custom car offline. It makes the multiplayer cars rather left out offline. Some other things I hope for: - Manual cooldown lap -Manual control on the entire formation lap - Changing liveries mid-season - Selection between the liveries for each team before a race - Choose how many cars you want to race with in a race (up to the maximum amount) - Classic cars ─ select which cars you want to race with (again, up to the maximum amount) - Have every track eligible for night race - AI jump the start (on rare occasions) - More selection of flags (red and yellow striped; white; etc.) - Manual control in pits - More expressions/emotions in the cockpit (e.g. after a wreck, the driver could be sad or furious) - Safety crews come out after a wreck, i.e. medical car, tow truck - Player mechanical failures in Grand Prix mode - No ghosting system in the pits; unsafe release may cause an accident - Under investigation for penalties Also, one nitpick thing, ever noticed how the grid is lined up on F1 2019? They are so perfectly lined up that not one car is out of line. Although the classic cars may differ, because each one has a different width. -
F1 2020 - Wishlist/ideas/hopes/suggestions for the future F1 Game(s)

If the next F1 game has split-screen, I'd be as rabid as a hyena. Buy. Buy. Buy! BUY! Also, I would like to see the crash physics similar to that of Project Cars, where if two cars collide with their wheels or if one car rams into the back of another, they'd be launched up. Kind of like the images below.
