Thanks for replying, all.. I’ve read te post. But it still seems strange to me. I don’t really care about the global leaderboards, but I do like to compare lap times with my . We’re all about the same skill level, but nowhere near the global top times. Also, I don’t recall this being an issue in previous F1 games, but I can be mistaken. djdavid, seems to have the same problem, while being in the top 15000. I hope someone from Codemasters can clarify this.

So, is this a bug, or do I really have to reach a certain level to compete against my own friends? @BarryBL is this a known issue? And is there a solution? I’d really appreciate the help.

Great topic, this game desperately need more features. I kinda agree with all the reviews calling it a bare bones experience. I like the game, but it gets old fast! And honestly, it feels like a step backwards from the last one. It’s too bad, because it has so much potential. I would like a more immersive autosport experience, while still being an arcade game. These are my suggestions (all found in other Codemasters games, so nothing ground breaking here) Longer races, longer championships. Dynamic weather Pitstops: for quick repair and/or wet weather tyres (hence the dynamic weather) Sponsorship deals and objectives, like in the original Grid. Flag rules More ai random events, crashes, spins, terminal damage, penalties, etc. Team management, like in Dirt Rally: hire mechanics, pit crew, agent, etc. Proper time trials. Cockpit view: look at the apex option.

I know, like I said, they’re just some ideas of what I as a gamer would enjoy. Can’t hurt to give your two cents right? But you’re right, the truth is we’ll just get a slightly updated version of this years game... and we’re probably all still gonna buy it. 😊

Relax mate, it’s just a couple of ideas (most also found in other games, so i.m.o. feasable). Like I said, it’s just my feedback, it’s by no means anything you should get worked up about. 😉 About F2, I think it’s little weird, that even if you’re the worst driver on the track, all the top F1 teams still want you, maybe that’s just me. Accomplishment/on track behavior: could impact sponsor goals like qualifying place, drive clean, podium finish, etc. Money earned can be invested in R&D or to hire better mechanics. It has been done before by CM, Dirt rally and Grid had a similar system. Just a thought. Personally I don’t like all the extra’s, the scripted and terribly acted drama and other fictional stuff. I just play F1 for the racing, wich I still enjoy a lot. Just like I do the original Dirt Rally and Project Cars, wich I like for these exact same reasons. At the end of the day, it’s still just a game, have a nice day, mate!

It’s not just you, I really don’t get it either. You can’t say anything less than super positive about Max.. 😀 To be fair, you can’t have a normal discussion with these people.. there’s always this sort of low iq mob mentality vibe in this “orange army”. When Verstappen leaves F1, they’ll probably go back to cheering for darts or soccer... or whatever gives them a excuse to act like idiots and make the Dutch be ashamed of their own people.

Please don’t.. Verstappen has talent, but I’m really starting to dislike him, because of his “fans”. “Max this, Max that..” these so called fans aren’t there for the sport, they just want an excuse to act like total idiots and hope to see their own face on tv... and I’m from Holland 😀

I agree, I actually tought of it myself too when playing Project Cars in helmet cam. When racing at high speeds in helmet cam, you only focus on the track, everything else gets blurred or in this case transparant. So yes, I’d also like to see a version of this get inplemented in F1. Adding Visor Cam as a new camera view would be a nice way to integrate this naturally. I don’t know if you’ve ever seen F1 visor cam footage, it looks spectacular. Who knows.. maybe 2020.
