  1. I think I have solved the issue on the xbox one.

Before running the game, go to your Xbox settings, under General select Volume & audio output, under Headset audio make sure you have Stereo uncompressed selected for your headset format.

Seems to have solved the issue for me so far anyway, playing it through a headset.

  2. Is anyone noticing a possible lack of top speed? Driving with my foot to the floor on very long straights (like Spa for instance), once in 8th gear the Rev lights don’t even show, and feels sluggish.

Top speed I manage to hit is roughly 190mph. Does this sound right? I’ve been driving red bull but this is in standard fuel and ERS modes, and without drs.

Interesting to know if anyone else is experiencing a similar possible issue?

  3. Also have the same issue. I’ve tried through wired headphones connected to the tv, wireless headset via the Xbox, and using tv speakers. Makes no difference. The crackling and pops are only really there when other cars are around you. And its worse the more that are around you. The crowd noise makes it even worse still.

  4. The sound is terrible. After an hour of game play it’s doing my head in. Is just unplayable at the moment. Very frustrating. Also i think the new panning effect of the cars engine noise is way too extreme when driving on tracks with walls, such as Vietnam and Singapore. Should be a little more subtle than it is, in my opinion anyway.

  5. I also am experiencing this issue. Using Xbox one x with thrustmaster tx. I have tried audio through tv speakers, the tv’s headphones audio output, with good quality KRK headphones, and even also through a pair of CloudX flight wireless headset. Still the audio pops and cuts out. Please Codemasters sort this issue.
