Is DiRT Rally 2.0 the same on Steam and Oculus?

    • The Oculus release is a separate version of the game and is not included with purchase of the Steam version.
    • The Oculus version provides native support to Oculus devices through the Oculus SDK.

Will the Steam version eventually provide native support through the Oculus SDK? Maybe with a update?

I guess we should know that at least, is it planned?

It's pretty obvious that it's not, seeing as he's been skirting around the issue for the last week, never once giving a definitive answer, only that Steam and Oculus version are different.

How can this be a hit or miss? We paid for the game, we should get the very best performance available!

What you are telling me is that we MAY get a good performance using oculus rift and steam version, how shady is that? If we already paid for deluxe edition a long time ago and get a bad performance with steam version, what should we do? Buy it again on Oculus and pay twice just to get a better performance? We want solutions, not a command line that MAYBE works for some...

It's hit or miss depending on if you want to buy the game again or not. The only solution they car about is the one that gets them double the money. They don't give a rats fart about people that supported their game from Day 1 by buying it on Steam, only about their own profits.

It's a shame to see what a horrible, scummy company Codemasters has turned into. At least that saves me the money from the GRID pre-order-

Ouch. How anti consumer can a company handle a vr release. What a shame.

I either buy the game through steam and get horrible performance or i get it through oculus Home and cant play with my friends. what a Joke....

Absolutely incredible to scam Oculus users that bought the game on launch like that. I guess they wanted to teach us a lessen to never under any circumstances buy one of their games at launch.
