"Avevo un amico cosi' lento ma cosi' lento .. che la sua macchina aveva i moscerini spiaccicati sul vetro posteriore"

Yup. You are right. We dont descend from the Chimps. We just have a common ancestor. From that common ancestor Chimps and humans split on two different evolution branches. On our branch there were several different human species. As per today only one species remain, because the others went extinct, Homo sapiens ๐
-
Looks like I was wrong. Thank you Wikipedia ! ๐
-
Because no species other than Homo sapiens has survived from the human line of that branching, both chimpanzee species are the closest living relatives of humans; the lineage of humans and chimpanzees diverged from gorillas (genus Gorilla) about seven million years ago. Although some modern chimps have been found to have brain surface features that were thought to have signaled humanlike brain evolution in hominids from as early as 3 million years ago, for what is regarding the rest ancient Chimps of more than 2.5 million years ago were basically identical to the present one. They did not evolve like we did in that span of time. Same for example applies to sharks. The sharks are living on this planet since 100 million years and they did not change that much compared to the modern ones. They shrunk in size but almost nothing more anatomically speaking.

You are very wrong Sir. We are on the same branch with Chimps and Bonobos. We come directly from them: Timmy and Kevin Hansen (2000 bc):

Why are you interested ? ๐
-
Probably not LOL !
-
Maybe at Codemasters you get bonuses when you have all the achievements lol. Playing all the time and being paid for it. Dream job imho. Problems: - Moving to the UK - Most likely the salary slip of a Game Tester won't get even a little close to what I am earning now as a DevOps. Both are huge problems ๐
-
Do you mean you have 100% of all possible achievements for all those games listed in your signature @PJTierney ?
-
@gfRally is that the proof we descend from the chimps ? ๐
-
Are these trophies available just for consoles (Xbox PS) or also on Steam ? Pardon my ignorance man. Also where can I see a complete list of all the achievements ?
-
guys I am sorry it might sound like a dumb question but what's this hype for the trophies ? I mean who cares if you have driven 66 kms on a car or you jumped longer than x meters ? It is not going to give you anything more in the game (no extra cars or liveries or hidden tracks or bonuses kinda things) and you are not going to receive any CR for that. So again what's the point ?

Yeah man it is insane ! I mean it would take me approximately 30/40 entire lives to do that myself looool. He is a genius really. I normally go for the option take all my money take all my money and I buy the rig ๐ Give this guy 500 euros and he will land on Mars !

Guys .. look at this guy ! Unbelievable ahahaha

Dreaming a bit here ...

koog2003 replied to PJTierney's topic in DiRT Rally 2.0
@PJTierney is it you driving in the video ? I'd be so curious to see a picture of the massive sim rig you must have at Codemasters HQ .... Do you have something like this monster here ? Starting from the "humble" price of 57k$ up to 107k$ ! -
I guess many people are applying. It is a job not an hobby therefore I am sure experience in the field is required. For experience I dont mean having played this game 10 hours a day lol ๐
-
LOL ! Thanks mate ๐
-
@PJTierney do you get rewards competing in the official clubs ? Do you get CR ?
-
@AlexSpartan316 "Note that we do not offer part time hours or remote working for this role." You would need to go live in the UK ๐
-
Wow @PJTierney ๐ I mean I am a Development Operations Engineer, Cloud Administrator and Senior Linux Engineer and I am based in Amsterdam NL. But hey how much do you pay ? It would be my dream job !

Dirt Rally 2.0 has stopped working, access violation in dirtrally2.exe
koog2003 replied to HoksuHoo's topic in DiRT Rally 2.0 Support
Contact support directly. I had the same crashes happening just 2 or 3 times but in like 4 months. It is not true there is no support. Through the forum it is a real pain but contacting them directly or even calling them straight sounds like a quicker way
