    Patch 1.08 | Patch Notes

Anything about the excessive wear of Power Unit components? For example a Set 1 CE lasting 10 races with 52% wear and a Set 2 reaching 55% with less than 4 races?

    Power Unit Component Overwear

Have someone here had a PU component that wore too fast after changing it to a new set or buying an upgrade? My first CE component, with no upgrades to reduce its wearing, lasted 10 races and got a 52% wear rate. When I changed it to the second CE piece, along with one upgrade on P&D, it wore tremendously fast. In less than 4 races it's already on 55% wear rate. And it's not only that component. I'm in Round 14 of Season 1 Career Mode, and all of my other PU pieces are wearing faster than they were around Rounds 6~10. The thing is: I've already purchased half of the upgrades on the Reliability area (1 for each component and 2 for ES and ICE). I'm the top 1 car of the grid on durability manners and I'm about to get a 3rd CE piece and getting penalized, when the 2nd one should have been taking me to the end of season. I hope that this bug get fixed soon, but in the meantime, I'll stop playing on my career bc I don't want to get jeopardized for something that shouldn't happen.
  3. 1. A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. Hey, I've just encountered a BIG bug for the wear percentage of the power unit: This first image is my first CE component. It didn't have any upgrade to reduce wear from P&D and it lasted 10 races. This second image is my second CE component with 1 upgrade to reduce wear from P&D. The problem is: I JUST HAVE HAD 3 RACES WITH THIS COMPONENT. There seems to be a bug with Power Unit components duration, bc at the first few races, the life expectancy kept changing all the time, but it wasn't going higher as I purchased upgrades, it was like. 1st race - 283 laps 2nd race - 581 laps 3rd race - 402 laps 4th race - 791 laps Please find and solve this bug bc I'm at the point of having to get a 3rd CE component and getting penalized for it. 2. Platform - STEAM 3. What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) - 1.07 4. Game-mode? - CAREER MODE 5. What are your replication numbers? Minimum test attempts are 4. Please also add EXACT replication steps for us to try too. - Been using this component for 4 races now (Austria, Great Britain, Hungary and Belgium) 6. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue - None, bc I would had to purchase a new CE component, what I wouldn't have to do if it wasn't wearing out so much 7. What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) - Logitech G29

    Steering on low angle/V-shaped turns

I've been a Controller Assists-On player since F1 2012 (Full Brakes and Auto Gearbox), so, this year, I bought a G29 and started to playing without assists (light changes by time). Right now I'm playing with low brakes, auto gear and full tc (bc it's basically impossible to reaccelerate without the rear-end spininng the car 180, even in medium tc). Altough, I'm facing a problem with acute angle curves (Australia T3 and T15; Bahrein T1, T4 and T8; Austria T3 and T4; etc.) When I steer the wheel, the car does the same movement, but it doesn't turn completely. I thought it might be the FFB/Calibration settings, but with the setup I have, the car basically does the exact same movement as the wheel and it also feels nice in all other kinds of turns. Then, I thought it was my breaking, but when I put the Brakes Assist on High, it stayed the same thing. So, I figured out that I was pressing the throttle pedal while I was turning in, so I stopped doing that and I put the Throttle Deadzone to 40. Even with all that, I'm still getting low response in closed turns and most of the times I end up over the kerb on the exit of them. So, is there a trick or something like that to get these kind of turns right? I'm trying my best to break correctly, steer the wheel to set the car on the correct line and only then I press the throttle again, but sometimes either I break too much, losing a lot of time and having to steer even more, or I accelerate too late. If it might help, these are my Game and Software settings. Steering Saturation - 5 Throttle Deadzone - 40 Brakes Deadzone - 10 FFB Strength - 50 On-Track - 30 Rumblestrip - 40 Off-Track - 20 Wheel Damper - 10 Understeer Enhance - On GHUB: Steering Sensitivity - 45 Rotation - 360 Spring Force Centering - 30 Brake Sensitivity - 100 Throttle Sensitivity - 25

Logitech G29 Force feedback not working

I solved most of my problems, but the steering is still a little bit difficult.

Lee Mather Responds to Scanned Tracks

For real, I don't think most or all of the tracks need to be rebuild and remodeled, just a few one that is quite outdated. Them being: Bahrain Sector 3 China Sector 3 (just a little bit of elevation on the entry of both straights) Canada Sector 2 Baku Kerbs (FOR GOD'S SAKE) GB Sector 1 and S's Hungary Sector 3 Belgium Sector 2 and Bus Stop USA Sector 3 Mexico Sector 3 Abu Dhabi Sector 1 Maybe they'll change it for next year's game, but in comparison to real life, most tracks are quite realistic even in F1 2019, but a little remodeling update would be really REALLY good.

Logitech G29 Force feedback not working

Patch 1.22 and I have the same problems with the G29 in F1 2019 game. The car is simply uncontrollable. It won't stay still in a straight line, turning is completely horrible, the throttle is too sensible even with the FFB settings, and the car seems to have no traction control at all (even with full traction control option). However, when I go to F1 2018, it is 101% more playable and stable. When I put the same FFB settings in the F1 2018 game, the car responds perfectly, but in the F1 2019 game it's impossible.

    No-Assists Learning Process

Hey guys, I need some help. So, I used to play F1 games with a XBOX Joystick, therefore I raced with brakes and gears assists on. Probably tomorrow, my Logitech G29 will arrive and I intend to start playing without these assists. Does anyone have any tips to make the learning process of playing no-assists and playing with a wheel easier and/or better? I'm used to playing with a joystick for almost 7 years now, always only concerned about turning the car, and I have totally no idea how it will gonna be when I change. P.S.: I'm already familiar with no traction control.
