Yeah I'm interested as well. I've always wondered what performance the equal cars use
-
Yeah the featured events always attract some of the best drivers in the league racing community
-
@Sir_Overtakesalot Oh you are IckleBickle? Yeah I also see your name a lot at least in the qualis for these races
-
Yeah the Japan one I noticed after two races. I started to look at the rain icons in the strategy menu and realised it's random. Me and Terrorracer had the best race weather scenario in our first attempt but at the time we didn't realise it would be our only chance so yeah... I don't think changeable weather is fair

I remember F1 2011 having multiple race lengths. I'm sad that was taken away and I don't even know why

This same glitch happened in the Mexico Weekly event as well where the top guy had 600k points. It's so annoying

25% races have the same tyre wear from 50% races. 50% races have 2x tyre wear from 100% races

Look at 2:30, 2:50 and 3:35 from this video!
As you can see in this great video clip which annotates the wheel adjustments, the overtake mode seems to go off after the driver is braking just like DRS would. Sainz doesn't even touch the overtake button himself to toggle it off like we have to do.
I know that some people are suffering with the bug that overtake mode gets stuck. One of my friends suffers from it as well and changing how the overtake mode works would actually fix this "overtake getting stuck" bug as well. I hope this could be fixed already for this game.

Would be so lovely

We have now extended the TT period until this Sunday midnight
-
I love that this telemetry program shows balance and suspension tilting in TT but why isn't it in GP mode or online races as well? It would be lovely to see so that I could actually change the setup according to the race fuel

As the title says, I feel like in F1 2020, Mercedes and the online equal cars are too fast compared to real life. I see from youtube that people can already do low 2s on Austria and low to mid 12s in Hungary while in real life Mercedes could just about do high 2s in Austria and mid 13s in Hungary.
I know this game is not a sim but still I wish that the lap times in this game would be at least closer to the times that they can do in real life.
In game in real life
Austria: 1.02.4 1.02.9
Hungary 1.12.4 1.13.4 -
There was a really good video about this from a German Youtuber who did an AI pace test in Japan on July 6th. Here you see the intervals between the AI levels

F1 Racing League or FRL is a PS4 league which always runs on Fridays. We start our 4th season on July 31st but we have now Time Trials which last until this Thursday midnight (end of July 23rd) and then an evaluation race on Friday (July 24th).
Last season we had two tiers but now we're looking into having three tiers.
About assists:
Tier 1 has only racing line allowedTier 2 and 3 have everything allowed except braking assist and pit assist
Tier 2 and 3 will start at 7.30pm CEST and tier 1 starts at 8pm CEST
We have some drivers from the top leagues of PS4 (AOR and PSGL) and some drivers were and are now in the top tiers of those leagues. Here are the standings from last seasons tier 1:

Also from what I've understood is that the reserves that would be in the league, would be scoring points for the guy who is missing the race and that the reserves are not scoring points for themselves which sucks in my opinion. All the leagues what I know have reserves that score points for themselves and in case one of the main drivers would have to leave mid season, that reserve can just jump in to a full time driver seat and have the points already that he got for himself while he was a reserve

It's called the stormy weather which was actually part of the weather setting in F1 2015 but they took it off and now it comes rarely if you have either dynamic or very wet/heavy rain weather setting and yeah starting from 2016, it always brings out a SC
-
TT didn't work yesterday and also now it isn't working for me... Why is it working for some people in PS4 but not for me?
-
Yep had this problem yesterday and it seems to continue today
-
Same problem here...

I think this SC update is pretty good except for the track limits under SC (10-second penalties etc.) which is a complete joke. I'm gonna quote another well-known league racer as I agree with his point completely and can't say it better, "It comes out when there is a crash even as in real life. But in real F1 drivers aren't that stupid and don't crash every lap". The bigger problem is that people can't stop crashing and take way too many risks. I'm pretty sure there would be as many SCs in real life too if people would crash so much...
EDIT: In our league race last Friday on Russia we got one SC and one VSC because people retired on track/crashed in dangerous places-

38 minutes ago, NMND said:Yes, the two hour limit is in the game implemented!
Nice! And this might sound very stupid but is there then the same 2 hour limit for 50% races or those have a 1 hour limit?
-
@BarryBL As I see now that the safety car deployment is quite sensitive, in tracks like Singapore in 100% races the races can go over 2 hours so my question is that is there the two hour limit from real life in this game?
