    I had the same thing happen a while back and i solved it by going into steam > settings and disable steam beta participation. The game still worked for me when i pressed "ok" though so maybe its not the same issue but worth a shot.

    Its already very slow and its usually not this bad at this time during the days. I was going to repair a car in a daily and it took 15 seconds loading time before it failed.

    I doubt its about you and how you deliever info to the guys doing the coding. Im sure at least someone of the devs thats working on Dirt Rally play the game themselves when they off work and if they do its obvious its not working very well. They should not need graphs or reports from you to be able to notice that something is very wrong.

    You can do one stage and then quit to the menu and practice in time trial if you want but that will be very time consuming.
  12. Its a weekly group b rwd currently with about 9 stages or so. Thats like 9 dailys if you want to level up the cars. 🙂 Its still 14 hours left so you still got time to do it.

    Of course the network can get on its knees if a lot of people playing at the same time but if PSN goes down it should not affect racenet (well maybe in a "positive" way since less people join on playstation and put less load on your servers), its two completely different things.

    Why would PSN affect PC and Xbox? Its like steam having issues and people wouldnt be able to play on PS or Xbox...

    Finished the challenges now. It was much more fun than regular single player and the only thing that i didnt like was rain on all stages in Wales and a couple of times when we are not allowed to setup the car ourselves even if it was multiple stages. I hope you will bring single player with a little twist in the next game aswell!

    Im having clutch override off atm but curious to why it considered an assist. Its under the assist tab anyway and then some things that are assists are not in the tab but applied automatically. On another note i was thinking about something to prevent cuts when i was driving yesterday. What if the game recorded the way the cars have traveled ingame, like a super basic map of the track only showing the road and and a little bit outside then some kind of line where the car have driven. The black line is the track and the red is the car. sorry about my paintskillz Then on leaderboards we could get the data from every driver by pressing on it. I think this would also be a great addition for more serious clubs that dont want their participants to cut. Im not sure how much data this would be in the end but as i said, if it was very very basic? I also think this would have a positive effect on players when knowing everyone will be able to see if they got the time they did by driving on the track or by doing some filthy cuts.

    Did the dailys and game was loading nice and quick now. I hope it will stay this way.

    Decreasing fov as hes talking about should only give less load on the hardware, right? More narrow fov - less objects to render.

    Can someone explain why clutch override is considered an assist while the "no stall" feature when driving with paddles/stick is not?

    Racenet is being racenet today aswell. Very long loading times and a couple of retrys. Clubs works better than the dailys.

    Does not look like you have much more of a choice than going back to menu and just hope to not get a DNF 😞
