  1. Imo the reliability upgrades are pointless at best since reliability is a non-issue in My Team due to the overly forgiving damage model (even with the so-called hardcore damage mode on. Why they would implement an optional damage model literally called hardcore but make it the opposite of hardcore, I have no idea) and service every 2/3 stages so you will never ever not be able to fully repair your car unless you do the kind of crashing that should result in multiple DNF's. But yeah. The performance upgrades are completely nonsensical. So is having to unlock setups, but at least that has n
  2. Car upgrades (especially ones with an unlock requirement) are a terrible idea that only make the game worse instead of adding anything positive. I hope they are ditched for future Dirt Rally (and WRC) titles completely. Arcade-focused Dirt titles are another thing, but fantasy "grind extra horsepower for your car" mechanics don't really belong in a sim-focused, authenticity-focused title. We now have a weekly with Peugeot 206 WRC. A great car that I have driven quite a lot in freeplay, but never in My Team because the 2000cc class is criminally under-represented in online events and I rea
  3. Slightly OT: I made everyone's favorite Dirt Rally 2.0 livery for AC https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/welcome-to-yorkshire-porsche-911-carrera-rsr-3-0.36084/
  4. Issue: in Skoda Fabia Rally (the 2000cc class car that is, not the R5 car) the steering wheel blocks the display so you can't see the gear indicator. Purely cosmetic inaccuracies/defects are one thing but this is something that affects driving the car in cockpit view. How to replicate: select Skoda Fabia Rally, drive it in cockpit view with steering wheel on. You should be able to clearly see both gear indicator and shift lights but the steering wheel is a bit on the way Video and photo of the real car that shows how it should look like: So it should look
  5. Issue: In rallycross qualifying the randomized times from the other heats are completely different level to the AI drivers in your heat. They can be 5, 10, 20 seconds faster than the AI drivers. So I end up in this bizarre situation where I'm too fast for the AI drivers but finish 16th all the time despite winning my heat, because the broken randomized times. This is a critical and/or game-breaking issue because it completely destroys singleplayer rallycross. I have been reporting this for a YEAR and on my end it appears absolutely nothing has been done to fix this game-breaking issue. Le
  6. Just curious: did he set those benchmark times using career mode rules (12 stages in one sitting with up to 5 restarts) or did he set them using time trial rules (keep driving the same stage unlimited times and your all-time best time is the one that counts) ? Because those are two different things entirely. The former is literally the pace of a crazy fast driver in career mode. Asking players to beat that is a pretty tall order. Beating his all-time stage PB's 12 times in a row with up to 5 restarts, and repeating that 6 times, is something else. Of course the career mode leaderboards ar
  7. Those recordings completely fail to capture engine sounds, the cars sound like electric cars in those videos. So they don't really represent how it sounds like inside a real rally car. On a quick look I couldn't find a decent recording of the Focus but this for example should give you some idea of what a rally car should sound like:
  8. Issue: Aston Martin is missing shift lights. Only sequential car in the game with none, which should be a pretty telling sign Method of reproduction: drive Aston Martin in cockpit view and rev up the engine. No shift lights anywhere Real car has them of course. See here:
  9. I really didnt assume it's your call. Don't talk to me like I'm 5 years old. "soon" is kind of subjective. Meanwhile we have to suffer this constant intrusive in-game advertising that makes DR2.0 look really silly with every banner being nothing but Project Cars 3. Not very nice
  10. Good to know and all but you are missing something imprtant here. How about removing this excessive Project Cars 3 advertising from DR2.0? Since it can be updated server-side, it could be done like right now.
  11. Having some PC3 banners would be bad enough but that every single last banner is PC3 only is just gross. Annoying, intrusive, unimmersive, in-your-face advertising in a fully priced game. Please get rid of this garbage asap.
  12. I'm fairly confident I'm not running the game on igpu. Seeing as 1230v3 doesn't have one
  13. With 100% difficulty maybe. With lower difficulty, or lower level than masters in career, nope. Randomized time are all over the place, and not only with 2019 cars. 2019 supercars seem to be where it's the worst, but the randomized times being way faster than the AI drivers is definitely not exclusive to them, I have seen it happen with all the other RX classes as well. Here is one example which I reported. Silverstone, 2018 supercars, elite championship in career. And yeah, the very same staggering 4 second per lap disparity. 4 seconds per lap on a very short 1km track.
  14. I have been playing since September and it has been happening the whole time. And yes, I have reported it in every bug report thread since September, and posted about it on various other threads concerning RX and RX AI, but Codies just don't give a toss. It's frustrating all right, completely ruins singleplayer rallycross. Just boggles the mind that they would include many fine RX cars and tracks but make them unplayble in singleplayer because of effing randomized times in qualifying. You'd think it wouldn't be nuclear science to make the randomized times somewhat same level as the AI dri
  15. 2000cc is one class where it's difficult to pick one car to commit to since there are so many great cars and I'd want to drive them all. That's a nice problem to have.
  16. Issue: Driver position in Lancia 037 and Porsche 911 SC RS is way too close to windshield. Since the driver position adjust bizarrely does not allow moving backwards from default position, it cannot be corrected manually Method of Reproduction: Set field of view to lowest value Select Lancia 037 or Porsche 911 SC RS Use cockpit view (the one which is affected by FOV) How cockpit view with lowest FOV should look like: Platform: Steam PC Build: 1230v3, GTX 1070, 16gb, SSD, Windows 10, SB Z, 1440p 60Hz VR Headset used: Nope
  17. Issue: In rallycross qualifying the random times from the other heats are far faster than the AI drivers on track. This is a critical and/or game-breaking issue because it completely destroys singleplayer rallycross, you cannot have decent singleplayer racing because the difficulty is badly mismatched, difficulty level of the random times is far higher than that of the physical AI drivers. Being faster than the AI drivers but finishing 16th in every race is not good racing Method of Reproduction: Start singleplayer rallycross qualifier, set difficulty to say 80 It happens on
  18. Maybe the guys who are actually responsible for something, who can't pass the buck or claim ignorance, should come to the forum (or Twitter or something where they actually communicate with players) sometime for some Q&A, instead of hiding behind a community dude. The complete absence of any accountability or responsibility is just mind-boggling.
  19. Had a puncture on SS5, I thought I was near the end so didn't change and kept going with just a rim. Lost a full minute anyway.
  20. Both Porsches also have wrong UI images. They are rear-engined, not mid-engined. Also Fiesta OMSE Supercar Lite is mid-engined, which is even said in the description but still UI image is front-engine
  21. No way to recover it unfortunately. Has happened to me once, a serious PITA that should not happen to anyone ever. This has been happening to a lot of players since the game was launched but it's not going to be fixed ever. For future titles CM really need to ditch this forced online thing for singleplayer that they can't get to work. Traditional local savegames ftw. They don't reset because of a Racenet/connection problem.
