  1. Excuse me Codemasters, but what's the point that AI have better damage than player car? More I play, I'm more surprised what I can see in this game. Ai can loose wheels, can rollover (very scripted, but it is) I even saw when FERRARI car lost BUMPER in the mid race which is totally impossible for a player car If some car manufactures don't like their cars gets too damaged and player car have this restrictions, why AI cars can gets more damaged?

Is an damage mod to Grid possible?

Thanks for answer I was looking in the game files, and thought same, however this is black magic for me. The main problem is that cars are too tough even with "realistic damage". The second problem for me is not complete damage in Ferrari, Aston Martin and Porsche cars. After some crashes parts looks like they could fall off after all it's impossible, it looks similar to newer Need For Speed damage model. I thought same that this could be "unlocked" in some variables I guess.. Maybe one day..

I have 200+ hours in Wreckfest 😛 Waiting for updates.
  5. If devs can't make better damage, could mod community make one? Something similar to Grid Autosport Great damage model, spectacular crashes, rolling cars was the main essence of this franchise. I can't stand that this is ruined in this game. I don't care about multiplayer - it's dead anyway. Someone let me know, please...

    GRID Modding

Sweet. Now I'm curious if is it possible to make: 1. Damage better, make car less tough, or at least increase damage in Porsche, Ferrari and Aston Martin cars, cause it's bad and reduced probably due to licencing issues (impossible to lose parts). 2. Change gravity, it's to high so cars are too glued to road. If someone have skills. I would really appreciate that.

    Watered down damage.

What games? Give me some examples of conterporary racing games with proper damage maybe besides Project Cars 2. I'm not talking that these cars have no damage. They have but worse than other cars in the game. Although the damage itself is still better than in Forza, Gran Turismo Sport, Assetto Corsa Competizione (talking about cosmetics).

    Watered down damage.

I don't have to.. In Ferrari, Aston Martin and Prosche cars you can't loose bumpers, hood, trunk, fenders etc. fun fact is that these parts looks like they could be detached (yes i have tested that by crashing hundreds times in walls, cars and so on) for some reason in others cars you can loose these parts. You can probably fix that by changing something deep in game code. You think it's a bug, glitch, oversight? In dirt rally 2.0 Aston Martin, Porsche have same issue.

    Watered down damage.

I wish that was a myth, but the reality is sadly different. Ferrari cars (Aston Martin, Porsche too) in the game have reduced damage realative to other brands. Why could Codemasters do that? Lazyness? I don't think so.

    Watered down damage.

So, it's literally impossible to make more detailed and spectacular damage in patch by Devs. I hope someone can make mod for better damage at least... **** you Ferrari and your ****** up license politics. I'm starting to regret that I bought this game...

    GRID - Mode/Feature/Content Suggestions

More detailed damage please... This is one of the main reasons why I bought this game. I'm not talking about deformation (it's pretty obvious that you can't make cars more bend). I'm mean that cars are too tough, lights are unbreakable, mirrors, wings, wheels etc. can't be detached... I don't like that. I hope for the future improvements

GRID 2019 - If you had one wish...

"Tiny little feature that no one notice" Hmm Breakable lights. This is weird when my front of the car is literally broken, I can even see no "glass" on the headlight, but for some reason light still working. Don't tell that you guys can't do it, due to licencing issues like "Manufactures don't like when lights in their car don't work". Sorry for bad English.
