  1. Hi @jtmoney3983, Could you please complete a bug report and add to this thread so we can continue our investigation. We believe we had a resolution in place for this in 1.06 but, if you are on 1.08 and still experiencing these issues, adding a bug report with video helps.
  2. Hi @Lurtz, Another long-shot here: Have you tried a re-install with 2020 at all?

    Patch 1.08 | Patch Notes

@Enlate, you've added a lot in your post there covering pretty general concepts. Maybe adding them and creating a thread in 'Suggestions' and in more detail would be a better way to do so. Adding 'AI Mistakes, Crashes etc' is pretty general topics.

    Please wait...

Hi, Thanks for adding your issue. However, we require all bug reports to follow and complete the template below. This is critical information Codemasters needs to be able to see your bug clearly. Link: Please add your bug report onto this thread or I will not be able to replicate or diagnose. Also, try turning Formation Lap off as well.

    Patch 1.08 | Patch Notes

Still under investigation and with our network team. It is a very difficult one to replicate, as its user and network related with a lot of variables.

    load failed

Please verify the integrity of your Steam Files and ensure you are on 1.08
  7. Still under investigation everyone. We have to try and find a regular replication. If users who are affected can continue to provide the information I requested earlier like @swifishy gave to us.

    Patch 1.08 | Patch Notes

No ETA at this time. I wouldn't want to promise a date and then break that promise. We are hoping that the fix for your issue will be a part of 1.09 and is scheduled for that at this time, but, as ever, always subject to change.

    Patch 1.08 | Patch Notes

Fair Comment. However, users who mod don't have to gain approval of FOM and their various stakeholders, the drivers and the teams. They are also variants of builds that are added to the games 'at the users risk'. We have to stress test updates, ensure that all parties are happy with our changes (as you can imagine with F1, this will take time) and implement them. If stakeholders disagree, it can hold things up. Modders are users who can take something and change it to their desires. Our updates are official and have the 'red-tape' to go with that.

    Patch 1.08 | Patch Notes

Please check the recommended posts in the thread @AVAlesi02. As mentioned in the recommend, was unlikely to make 1.08, but we are working towards this being added into a future patch soon.
  11. Not into 1.08 I'm afraid. It is something currently still under investigation

    Patch 1.08 | Patch Notes

I understand the enthusiasm for this, however, we have had to prioritise issues that are critical to players playing the game ("Xbox One wheels controls will no longer control the car and camera at the same time" being a obvious example), as this has taken precedent. The Sport Update is in the process of being completed internally, it is just not ready as of yet.
  13. @Lurtz from your initial report, have you tried Verifying your Steam Files at all? Doesn't say on there you have
  14. Now solved in 1.08. Thanks for the patience on this.

    Looking to the side

    Fix now live. 👍
  16. Hi everyone, We’ve identified an issue with downshifting at high revs which caused a lot of gearbox wear and while this is not something we expect players to do we’ve reduced gearbox wear in this case to make it less punishing. If people still experience issues post v1.08 then please let us know and give us as much information as possible and we can look at the fixes that we have added and hopefully update.

    Custom Liveries for Xbox/PS

Please remember that, even though modifying happens, the mods are not officially supported by Codemasters, and users add them to the game at their own risk.
  18. As promised @RS Phil, some questions 😄 What events took place for the Williams to be at the head of the train behind the SC? In theory, the SC is designed to pick up the leader, which it has not done. Did Russell pit and re-join ahead of the SC? Were Hamilton/Vettel/Ocon/Kvyat still in the race at that point or were they out of the race? When was the SC called out? How many laps had been under the SC before you experienced this issue? Has this been experienced elsewhere? Like previously mentioned, this will be a difficult one to nail down. But, we'll give it a good try. 👍

Bug or not? China turn 15.

Not a bug. You have left the track to gain an advantage. Whereas is should be 'Track Extending', a warning/penalty for this would make sense.
  20. BarryBL

    Wind?

is about the correct answer. Wind is not factored into the game.
  21. With developers and a fix is in test at this stage. Thanks for the patience on this.
  22. Great spot @alon11esp, can see this is worse at some circuits. Nice bug, easy to replicate. Added and with developers.
  23. Also, if other users have experienced this, please add a video and follow the excellent standard @RS Phil has set. This will be a hard find, so the more information we can get, the better chance we have of finding why this happened.
  24. Under review now @RS Phil. Because of the issue, and how difficult I'm guessing this will be to replicate, I am currently in a conversation with Developers for any additional information they may need. As you know, internal replication is needed to find the diagnosis of the issue, and this one could be a difficult one to nail down a Method Of Replication. Your report has been passed on, but I'm sure I'll be coming back with some more questions as soon as I possibly can. Thank you for the excellent reporting however, really high standard. 👍
  25. Thanks for the code @natboy2000, I'll drop a mail to the network team and try and identify, but I suspect it could be wireless connection related I'm afraid. But it does no harm in asking.
