    Fair point, can see how that's confusing. However, it is the Multiplayer car model we've made available, and the associating customisation options that go along with the car, as it is different from the other models on the game. 

    Otherwise, it could be read as we've made the customised livery available on all of the current 2020 car models, which would be very unlikely to ever happen as we wouldn't get the approval from various F1 stakeholders to do this.

    Nice idea @kart12talwar, but would be quite difficult to implement at this time with a chosen scale of performance.

    This is correct from @PorcsheRevs. We just wanted to give users more platforms to use the MP car in different areas of the game. Performance for this car will always be the same as Mercedes, except for in your MyTeam savegames.

    You can relocate @FOneFanatic in the MFD Customisation screen, like other elements. Mine is just below the steering wheel, just the right spot.

    It could @Helejas also be a connection to certain users. For example, we have a massive range of nationalities of users in the Forum Championship, and sometimes issues affect users further away from the host. Also:

    • what firewall settings do you have? 
    • Are you on the latest version of your anti-virus/firewall?
    • Do you have other applications running in the background?
    •  There may also be certain restrictions with your ISP

    I watched this thread for the last two weeks in hopes of an positive update and tried to be patient.

    Now with the start of season two, I would like to know, if it makes sense to still hope for a positive solution for all affected players.
    Doesn't make sense to start season two for me, if there is a chance not getting the reward at the end, because of a bug.
     

    Positive Solution is on the way. 

    We already had a solution in place, we are just working on the final logistics before release.

    @lunamoon  I experienced the same issue and tested it.  The Multiplayer car appears to not be the issue.  I experienced my personal best being wiped simply by entering a time trial lap in a McLaren.  I replicated the issue in a Mercedes on Hanoi.  Loading into the time trial game mode alone does not wipe your personal best, as it is still viewable on the friends leaderboard from the garage.  However, starting a lap does erase your personal best and clears your friends leaderboard as well.  

    I'm also on PC/Steam.

    just tested in Canada and I lost my PB on the Mercedes for a slower time on the custom team. I'll also post this as a glitch report for visibility, but for now, whoever sees this, stay away from time trial if you care about your PBs 😞


     

    Please post a bug report on this @lunamoon, tag me in it and I'll test this this afternoon.

    UPDATE: Tested from the current level of feedback, unable to replicate.

    Please see below for Patch Notes for Patch 1.09, available shortly on all platforms.

    • Option added so players can engage ERS by holding the button.
    • Fixed a soft lock for some users where a contract negotiation would not occur correctly.
    • Sponsors now correctly appear on the players car during Weekly Events.
    • Customisation sliders now show values to allow easier editing.
    • Badge emblems can now be resized.
    • Time Trial now has an option to view a replay of the fastest lap in the session.
    • In Split Screen AI opponent numbers can now be customised.
    • A performance issue while the Safety Car is on the track has been addressed.
    • Players are no longer briefly displayed in the wrong position at the end of a qualifying or race session.
    • Pit stop information has been added to the Race Director.
    • The Multi Function Display (MFD) can now be enabled in Cockpit view.
    • LAN names will now be correctly used during LAN game sessions.

    McLaren

    • Gulf and various sponsors added
    • #WeRaceAsOne rainbow livery added

    Racing Point

    • Additional sponsors and logo placements
    • Replaced Racing Point nose logo with We Race As One version

    • Added sponsors, Twitter handle and #WeRaceAsOne to halo

    Red Bull

    • #WeRaceAsOne branding added to front wing
    • Updated Citrix logo next to driver's head and nose stack

    Performance Update

    We’re aiming to bring a performance update to F1® 2020 in the first half of October. This will include balancing the performance of Racing Point and Scuderia Ferrari. We’ll be revealing more soon!

    2020 Revised Calendar Schedule -

    As developer and publisher of F1® 2020, the official videogame of FIA Formula One World Championship, Codemasters has accurately recreated the original 2020 season, which was scheduled to start on 15 March. Due to time needed to re-create the circuits in-game, it is not possible to include any of the new circuits added to the revised 2020 season.

    As with numerous topics on this previously, I will be locking this. Our stance remains unchanged. @MattyH1812, this topic has been discussed A LOT and this message has been added to the blue announcement section at the top of the page. Please search issues before posting 👍

    So yeah, 100%. You even touch someone on Simulation mode, you will get some sort of damage, however minimal. Remember, in F1, you scratch the paint and it will cost SOME money somewhere. Especially if you hit someone at some point.

    Another detail: it looks like most of the times.. as the lights go out for the host/commentator, that's when they only start to come on for the rest. 
    Because watching the clips i see a trend of the drivers not even starting to rev before the lights are already out for a while for spectators.

    When the host is a driver the difference is less obvious.. but still a couple of tenths to about a second in my experience.

    You made this game and you should know why the money is being taken away ?
    For damaging your car ?
    Or for damaging an opponent's car ? 

    There may NOT be damage on the MFD, but still will be damage on the car. Unless you are running 'Reduced' or 'None' damage on? Can you confirm your damage settings.

    If you are crashing into someone, then you would be damaging your car too in some way, which would explain the damage cost. This detail was missed on the initial report, and I didn't touch anyone in my test.
