@Nuvolarix, thanks for the top reporting. Can you provide more detail in your replication numbers. Say out of 5 tries, how many times this happens to you. Devs will need that sort of information for their internal tests.

If you think you have discovered a bug, please complete the bug reporting template and add it to this thread. Things like replication and a way for CM to make your bug happen will be important here.

Ideally Raverduck by the look of his 11second lap. That could be the overriding issue and that, in turn, can affect others.

Great report @iHax0r. Looks like the user affected may have very different connectivity settings to the rest of the lobby. Is that user on the forums so I can tag and investigate?

We've received PS4 saves so far. Anyone with PC experiencing this and can send a savegame at all? Would really help our investigation.

Hi everyone,
Can users affected please add a copy of their savegame to this, and specify the exact date in which their game has crashed.
PS4
How to copy a save game
- Insert a USB drive in to your PS4.
- On the PS4 go to Settings, Application Saved Data Management, Saved Data In System Storage, Copy to USB Storage.
- Select your F1 save and copy it to the USB.
- Remove the USB and put it in to a PC.
- Compress the PS4 folder to a zip file.
- Send the file to us at community(AT)codemasters.com (replacing the (AT) with an @ ) with a link to this forum thread in the email body.
How to copy your Steam save for F1
- Browse to where Steam is installed, usually this will be C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam
- Browse to \userdata\xxxxxxxxx\ (where the x’s are your unique user ID)
- Right click on the 928600 folder (this is your F1 2020 save) and select Send To -> Compressed (zipped) folder
- Copy that new zipped folder and send it to us at community(AT)codemasters.com (replacing the (AT) with an @) with a link to this forum thread in the email body.

From the current solutions offered, stopping Trusteer seems to work. If people can contribute to the feedback on this, its really appreciated. I'll mark this as 'recommended' until I hear otherwise 👍

You may want to try going off completely. Also, could also try finding that DLL on their HDD, backing it up somewhere, deleting the original from that folder, then booting the game.

One of our devs has had a look at your crash dump, and fed back the following information:
[Frames may be missing, no binary loaded for rooksbas_x64.dll] - which means it's external software causing the crash. Looks like it could be the anti-virus software causing the crash potentially. "rooksbas_x64.dll" has also been reported as a file that can disguise itself as malware, so try the below:
Can you go offline (Important), disable anti-virus, then attempt to boot the game. Then feed back to me.

Hi everyone,
I've merged issues here as they are on the same topic. When you start a new session and experience this issue, can you provide me a report code. How to do so is to go Main Menu > Game Options > Settings > Bottom left of your screen (16 digit code).
This code is valid for the duration of your session. I can then raise to devs to investigate.

Thanks Nuv. The reason we ask is so we can understand how often we expect to see it in testing. Also, I don't have a PS4 at home, so it has to be passed on for testing and I can't do myself. I've tried on Xbox and PC and seems to work okay from my experience.
