    Hi again,

so I’ve tried following some steps online that advised me to port forward for a more secure connection. Having followed the advice for my internet hub and other forums I’m still struggling. It’s improved slightly but still getting disconnected. I awaited the latest update to try that but to no avail.

Can you post a video of your issue. Also, please add a report code, which is found in Main Menu > Game Options > Settings > 16 digits bottom left hand side.

  2. Hi,

Thanks for adding your issue. However, we require all bug reports to follow and complete the template below. This is critical information Codemasters needs to be able to see your bug clearly. Link:

Please add your bug report onto this thread or I will not be able to replicate or diagnose

  3. As other options, try:

    •  Deleting the hardware_settings_config in the location: C:\Users\\Documents\My Games\F1 2020\hardwaresettings, then try to verify the steam files and try and re-enter the game.
    •  Double check network settings. Longshot though.
    •  Final suggestion is to move your backup your savegames, and do a complete uninstall and re-install of F1 2020 though the method mentioned earlier.

[Xbox] Camera control is linked to the movement of the steering wheel

After installing patch 1.05, my steering wheel is attached to the camera. Whenever I turn the steering wheel sideways, the driver's view changes to the respective side. And the brake pedal always drives the camera backwards. I tried to modify the commands, without success. My steering wheel is the Thrustmaster Tx with the T3PA pedals.

Should be fixed on 1.08. Please update and let me know 👍

  5. Another one @MilligramSmile

For us to identify and fix a problem, we need replication numbers (how often this happened to you) and also any troubleshooting tried as well. Answering with 'No and nothing' doesn't help us track down the issues. Can you make the issues happen again? If so, please let me know how and I can then try and report. 👍

I spready did that. Its infinite loop. This game veryfing 2 files and cant do that. I mian steam telling me everything is fine but when i will do it again there is always 2 files for verify.

Sorry @AndyDaK1NG, what do you mean by 2 files? It sounds like, from your report, there is a issue in your installation of the game somewhere. If you have a savegame, I'd access that file, copy it to another storage device, and Uninstall the game through Steam with F1 2020 > Right Click > Manage > Uninstall.

Then try a total re-install and see how it goes.

This was my thought too. From season 1 to season 3 of being at the bottom of the grid to a WDC there's no changes in the physical appearance of the car at all. That just seems odd. Also, I don't think it'd be that difficult for codies to essentially break apart the car models of previous games and give you the options to piece together sections.

To clarify on this, its unlikely an option to customise parts on the Multiplayer car will ever be possible. The generic car has to be signed off by various stakeholders, and we are locked into the approved design, where there is no performance advantage. Also, changing this, even if it was possible, would compromise other things like liveries for example.

  12. Hi guys,

Heard back from the developers, and users who have experienced this on PC and PS4, can they please attach the affected savegame file so we can continue the investigation. This is CRITICAL in us advancing the issue, so we can experience it first-hand from your saves. We have been unable to replicate so far, because our saves internally seem to be unaffected. If we can get as many affected ones as possible, we get more chance to identify the issue.

How to do so is here:

How to copy your Steam save for F1 2020

    1. Browse to where Steam is installed, usually this will be C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam
    2. Browse to \userdata\xxxxxxxxx\ (where the x’s are your unique user ID)
    3. Right click on the 1080110 folder (this is your F1 2020 save) and select Send To -> Compressed (zipped) folder
    4. Copy that new zipped folder and send it to us at community(AT)codemasters.com (replacing the (AT) with an @)

    PS4

How to copy a save game

    1. Insert a USB drive in to your PS4.
    2. On the PS4 go to Settings, Application Saved Data Management, Saved Data In System Storage, Copy to USB Storage.
    3. Select your F1 save and copy it to the USB.
    4. Remove the USB and put it in to a PC.
    5. Compress the PS4 folder to a zip file.
    6. Send the file to us at community(AT)codemasters.com (replacing the (AT) with an @ )

    Any update on this @BarryBL?

If it's any help, the mirror 'deflection' is down by 0.5 in the affected areas (which correspond with the pit entry and exits on track, I'd go as far to say approaching the pit limit detection range).

    It affects these tracks in TT and MP;

Australia, Bahrain, Bahrain Short, China (exit), Netherlands (entry), Spain (exit), Canada (entry), France (exit), Hungary (exit), Italy, Singapore, Russia (exit), Japan (exit), Japan Short (exit), Mexico.

Issue has been bugged and replicated, just awaiting to hear back for more details from the design team @steviejay69 👍
