  1. Hi,

Thanks for adding your issue. However, we require all bug reports to follow and complete the template below. This is critical information Codemasters needs to be able to see your bug clearly. Link:

  2. Hi @MattWren00, the first two issues that scream at me are the Latency (Should be around 16ms for confident gaming) and the Wireless Strength at 84%. This does leave quite some margin of error and a potential chance of a small drop, which could cause a disconnect. Can you get stats on this when running Wired. I'm confident the experience would be better for you, and I'm surprised that you are still experiencing these issues with Wired connection.

  4. Can you try deleting your Hardware Settings File, then verifying the integrity of your files on Steam:

How to find  your in-game hardware settings file

    1. Browse to your hard drive where windows in installed
    2. Browse to "...\Documents\My Games\F1 2020\hardwaresettings
    3. Delete the hardware_settings_config
    4. Verify Integrity of Steam Files by Steam > F1 2020 > Right Click > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Files

    hey,

Anybody else having problems completing their profile? I can get it to 67% complete but every time I fill in the Gaming setup section it won't save my answers, and when I click next, it takes me back to the settings page. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I need to complete my profile so I can post and hopefully find a solution to the huge problem im having with understeer on F1 2020 using my G920.

Profile doesn't need to be completed to post on the forums.

I ran all the speed test, connection test, packet loss and everything already and nothing helped. i have no problems with any other games either. i get 150+ download speed, so im pretty sure its not a connection issue on my end. but im not sure why i disconnect because it doesn't fully disconnect me it just kicks me out of the lobby and back to the home screen

Can you add screenshots of your speed tests for my information and a video of the crash when possible.

My friend has no problems connecting what so ever. He and another friend tried to join and start a league session, and it worked fine.

    Wired internet connection.

    Thanks for your reply @BarryBL

Okay, so its and Individual user issue somewhere. Can you grab a report code if possible for the next time you have experienced this, which is done by Main Menu > Game Options > Settings > Bottom left hand corner of the screen (16 digits) in-game. That code is valid throughout the whole session.

I checked with them yesterday and they both had open nat types. i notice that when i use wired connection because my router is downstairs its not as good because i cant wire it from router to xbox i use plug sockets

Can you check your router settings and run a speed test on a PC. Wired connections would improve the gameplay experience, not hinder them. Is it possible to move the Xbox setup closer to the router and test to see if its the nature of the connection?

For info. I don't think Barry usually posts/works at the weekend so you're unlikely to get a response before Monday now.

Correct. Even I need a weekend. This looks like it could be a bandwidth issue perhaps. What other devices have you got that use the Internet, and could compromise Bandwidth? Are there multiple users in the household.
