thanks again
Hi @kamal99,
Apologies for the delay. Please note that we are seeing a huge amount of traffic on the site, so keeping track can be a little difficult, especially with additional things going on in the 2020 build up. This is something we plan to test for 2020.

Surely this can't all be about the beta testing of f12020.
Or is it a sign of people already beta testing. Who knows.
I checked and you can't pre order on ps4 store . I will ask a friend or call a friend called dave
DAVE.
Hi @senna94f1,
Please refrain from speculating on the BETA process, as it doesn't help with something that is already heavily speculated on. I can confirm, as in other posts on the thread, that the BETA is not yet in place.

Hi everyone,
I've raised this with the developers. @AdamFreeman, this one is an instance where I would recommend a TA post with a bug report. It allows us to see things clearer and completed bug reports help us immensely. I've moved to TA. If you can complete a bug report using the template, will save us time in trying to obtain more detail down the line 👍

What about the nasty bump at the Red bull GP track.
As you are coming up to the 2nd corner. Its very noticeable.
It can throw you wheel violently left and right even if you turn FFB down on your wheel.
Alot worse then the Japanese track which the bump has always been a part of the Japanese GP track.
Hi @senna94f1,
At this moment in time, outside of the media releases, we will have more details on changes and improvements coming up to release. As you can see, there's a LOT going on at this time, and once I have information that has the okay to be made public, I will 👍

"In response to feedback, the infamous bump at Suzuka has now been flattened out, whilst the Safety Car bug in Career has also been fixed for this year’s entry – with Codemasters refining the criteria for activation. A complete pile-up of cars will now trigger it, whereas previously that may not have happened in F1 2019. "
To comment on the article and the infamous 'bump', from user feedback, I can confirm it is removed and a much smoother exit to the pit straight for Suzuka. Again, thanks everyone for the feedback on this over the past year. From a personal point of view, I've binned it on that bump a few times, so I'm delighted its gone from a race viewpoint. 👍
More details outside of the media feedback will continue to be released as we get closer to F1 2020 launch.

I can confirm BETA has not been released. Influencers and various Media outlets will have received a limited build of the game designed for media showcase through a separate application process to the BETA process on these forums.

Sounds like a connection issue for sure between B and C. B and C need to check NAT types and wired/wireless settings. Always run a wire. Can you complete a bug report too @serdarcoban. How to do so is in the green tab at the top.

Hi @TomAAA,
Thanks for your post.
Currently, this is a 'Work In Progress' build and still subject to change, and further improvements that may be already planned, that I cannot confirm or disclose at this time. I will take the immediate feedback back to the devs though. I think the term 'game breaker' (outside of the old-school FIFA street reference) is not exactly the correct terminology, but I can certainly pass on the response. I also would add that playing it and watching it does feel different from my 2020 testing/hotlaps. (Well, I'll admit mine are more 'slightly warm laps' compared to some of the guys here)

It is an on/off toggle like @Worntoathread stated. A 'hold' function wouldn't be the best thing to add as drivers will have enough to think about.

Unless you mean the actual REAL season if it takes place with reduced races, doubled up 8weekends, maybe even reversed tracks who knows?! That would be extra cool for sure. For one second I thought you meant 2021 season but that would be daft!
EDIT:After writing this post I had to wait 2 minutes to submit it. Hmmm
Now after waiting 2 minutes it's making me wait another 2 minutes. 🙄
Unsure, slow to me too. Were investigating.
I am doing some 'undisclosed' forum work at the moment which may have slowed it down. Sorry about that. I'll add it on in the morning tomorrow, just there's areas I need to update ready for the BETA

Agreed with @KiLLu12258, F2 will be the 2020 update. Much like in 2019 where you got the 2018 and 2019 editions of the F2 season, you will get the 2019 and 2020 editions of the F2 seasons in 2020.

Although they are cool looking cars, the engagement and usage numbers on these were low compared to other classic cars. We are very confident that the new Schumacher Classic Cars will be a more than popular replacement 👍

Same problem. I'll get it changed and updated. Will be removed for now, and will add with correct link. Thanks for the spot

I can't wait for a longer length f2 career though.
Can anyone else confirm? @smalls048 does it work at the moment for you? Looks like it is working for others.

Just general router settings, firewalls, NAT types etc. A google should help you find everything needed. Wired/Wireless

Try the below:

Longshot, try to delete the hardware_settings_config.xml file in Documents\My Games\F1 2019\hardwaresettings and see what happens.
-
Can you get the crash dump @trussell20. The EGO dump report doesn't really tell us a lot in regards of the troubleshooting of the issue.

ERS Deployment - F1 2020
in General Discussion
Posted
Hi everyone,
Sorry guys, 'Codies silence' on the matter is purely because I've been mega busy with BETA-related stuff the past few days, as my league race 'performance' clearly showed. We've had a record amounts of applicants, and we've more data than ever to sort through and evaluate, it's taking myself and a lot of members a fair bit of time.
On the ERS. we have taken feedback and information directly from F1 drivers and teams on how the system is used and deployed in real-life. We have been told from the teams/drivers that the current 2019 ERS management system was far too complicated and something that the F1 drivers do not engage in to this level. Therefore, we have made changes to create a system closer to real-life deployment strategies.
Also, quick note here, some teams may have slight differences in how it is used, and we've been tasked to create a universally-accepted, but closer to reality, model. It is something that is due for further testing soon enough for successful BETA applicants (this will be available shortly) and one of the key things we would look for in review in Week One of testing.
