Nearly there, just play something else and the time will fly by.

I see what you did there!

What features do we want to see in a future DIRT Rally game?
Rogerbee replied to caerphoto's topic in DiRT Rally Series Suggestions
I'd like to be able to choose co-drivers, Nicky Grist and Derek Ringer being obvious choices. Also, I think there should be some more classic rally cars like the Mk1 Escort as driven by Roger Clark and the Saabs, Nissan Bluebirds and a Volvo Amazon. Then there's the original long wheelbase Quattros. Toyotas need to come back too plus liveries for drivers like Carlos Sainz, Marcus Gronholm and any other classic driver there is out there other than Colin Mcrae, who also needs to be joined by his brother and Dad. I don't mind sticking with the current graphics engine. It's nice to have a current game which can run on slightly older hardware like mine. Obviously I'll have to upgrade at some point, that will be inevitable, but I'd rather not for now. That's all I can think of for now... -
Interesting, the R5 Fabia is one I actually haven't driven at all. I'll have to give it a whirl.
-
It varies between tracks for me. I've set PB's with the 208, Polo and C3. Different cars come out on top every time. Haven't really tried the others much to be honest, but, I do keep coming back to those three.
-
Just drive in chase view, you can't see it then!
-
I don't mind them being slower, the Group B one scares the heck out of me! It was the same in CMR, mad beast!
-
I always think the ones for the Evo 6 sound like someone being beaten up.
-
Everything you need should be right here: I use his setups all the time and they are brilliant.

I see, well, it's one of them that I'd like to see in a game then.
-
Yeah, I'd certainly like to see the first one in a game. Weren't the first Quattro rally cars in Group A?
-
There should definitely be an award for crossing the finish with all four wheels off the ground. So far, at Rockton Plains, I've managed to do that in spectacular fashion!
-
I would imagine it would be protected as it's not an unlock like the Alpine and 131 were. Some people will have to pay for this pack so it will be like the other paid DLC.
-
Ah well, I'm happy enough, What with the arrival of the S4, I can see the old 95 Impreza becoming somewhat redundant, unless you get the L555 BAT livery in the pack. Roll on March! (Thank god next month is short!)
-
Not necessarily, As I understand it, it would only be free if you bought deluxe versions of the game or a season pass. If, like me, you only bought the standard version of the game and then bought DLC, the Colin pack would be paid DLC. If it was paid DLC you wouldn't be able to create liveries.

It's Colin's Scooby, that's all I've ever wanted, now I can finally recreate CMR on my PC with modern graphics, happy days!
-
I'd like to see some Safari Rally Kenya stages in DiRT Rally 2.0, that would be fun, particularly the unexpected incidents you could have with the wildlife!
-
Only got the game the other week and only discovered these forums a few days ago so I'm not fully up to speed yet.
-
Something is happening right now! A new update! 1.12 is downloading! Only another 8 hours to go..... (What am I going to do with the time!?)
-
Very enlightening!

The Confusing Car Name Thread: S1/E2, 22B/WRC etc…

Thanks for clearing up the Subaru thing! -
LOL! I owned CMR on the PS1 and only got back into the games again about a month ago. I've only had DR2 a week.
-
Considering the McRae connections, it's highly likely that, as others have said, we will get the 22B Impreza it's synonymous with both him and Codemasters rally games. Not to have it would be like Star Wars without lightsabers. Anyway, we will see.......
-
LOL! Good one!
-
I see, Maybe more will emerge in time. DR1 isn't quite end of life yet and more content for DR2 is on the way. We'll just have to see what shakes out. It's possible, once all the DLC has been released and work starts on the next one that Codie's may release a patch that sorts out all the DLC cars so livery mods can be made.
