Dirt 5 or just GRiD Rally DLC mudpack?

for me, exactly the opposite, the impressions of racing on these licensed tracks with models of real cars in the Grid are brilliant ๐Ÿ™‚ I've been playing the Grid for a long time and I can't get bored because of the nice groups of cars go around provides fresh feelings and fun. I still have the third season and a few races that dropped out of the previous ones, so I was worried by the official information that there will be no more additions. I didn't consider buying the Dirt 5 but when I saw the trailer I thought - damn ๐Ÿคจ it is the Grid scheme only with some fantasy rally routes, colorful freaky cars and fancy activities ๐Ÿ˜ƒ if my eyes didn't deceive me, I will treat it as an extension of the fun of Grid with a little fancy impressions ๐Ÿ˜‰ I am a little surprised but on the other hand I am very happy ๐Ÿ˜Š

Dirt 5 or just GRiD Rally DLC mudpack?

rather a green light on my side ๐Ÿ™‚ and I will definitely buy this rally clone the more that it is a fraternal twin so it will not look identical, but will keep a great gameplay and driving model. I also hope that due to the fancy style and the lack of licensing requirements, interestingly varied tracks and some other activities will appear

    Collisions off option please?

not bad idea but split-screen is more important update and technically there is a ready mechanism that Dirt 5 and F1 2020 show us, which is enough to transplant. why are they holding their decision? for me it is completely incomprehensible because GRiD / DiRT 5 / F1 are like three washing powders and the customer wants to buy anything. so if there are three of your products on the powders shop, you have three times the chance as long as they are all suitable for his washing machine and he has a split requirement ๐Ÿ˜‰

New PS4 ultimate control setup help

I recommend that you learn to control the car on the default ones because they are quite sensibly selected ๐Ÿ™‚ it's time to experiment when you drive around a bit and start winning the competition. for me, these settings from Braga are nice tune up. just use sensivity option around 85-88/5-2 and deadzones at 5. Here are another interesting tutorials ๐Ÿ™‚ especially with tip Springs/Dampers/Antirolls set to max Firm ๐Ÿค  The second tip is about the ABS/Traction/Stabilty with all set to 3 for play more fun if you feel experienced user or all set to 4 if you are looking for more Race Driver Grid feeling (or play on default 5) ๐Ÿ™‚

New PS4 ultimate control setup help

just start with default setting and be patient. after ten races you should feel good also you can test this setting but I recommend start with default because it's ok for learning phaze @CMTGK GRiD or Dirt 2.0 supporting tilt driving with DualShock4?
  9. @CMTGK the statistics, the ones appearing right after finishing the race, have not worked for several days. I'm using PS4 and after each race in the table of winners you can switch to the WORLD tab and after a while with a blinking logo the results in relation to the data from the server should appear. unfortunately, after a few seconds the logo in the lower left screen stops flashing and disappears, and the table remains empty as if it did not download any data. this happens in about 9/10 races. on the other hand, statistics checked manually (not right after the end of the race) appear normally, but not for all routes. it happens for some tracks that the table remains empty even if I do this comparison manually. can you explain where is the problem?

    Learn the lesson people !!

Holy truth ๐Ÿ˜‰ I still hope CM doesn't leave us with this highly playable title without support and DLC expansions. The game's update to support the Logitech TRUEFORCE standard shows that the GRiD is still selling well. They are now expanding their portfolio with more arcade crazy Dirt5. GRiD is in the other customer drawer with Forza Motorsport and Gran Turismo like raceing. At the moment, it is the only and quite nicely tailored position with a real representation of real vehicles and known tracks. It is in the interest of CM to arm this game with a split-screen option and think about another season or DLC pack with some track and cars. @ChrisGrovesMCM @CMTGK can you hear me? ๐Ÿ™‚ is there a chance that you will ask CM team for such a paid DLC pack? just with split-screen option and with some additional route or a car? it would really find buyers as short Season 4 update and technically it is probably not such a challenge for team since the new F1 and Dirt 5 got a split screen

    The future of Grid

no, I haven't written anywhere that you used the term perfect. ๐Ÿ˜‰ you identified it as an interesting alternative and I agree. on the other hand, I look at the gameplay videos and don't see anything better than in the Grid. That's why I wonder why you would buy it even though the first materials resemble what we got in Grid, and the driving model has never been an advantage of this title, honestly and without second meaning. The only thing I'm missing in GRiD right now is the next seasons. I am generally happy that I have a lot of driving fun, so I play season after season. The Ultimate version brought a lot of content and significantly extended my fun with this title. After the end of the third season, I would like more to appear because this driving model suits me very well. Of course, I agree that the game could be even better, but the product met my expectations enough that I would like to extend it to play longer. Unfortunately, it looks like the publisher abandoned this game quite early. I do not hide that the influence of the community, which instead of looking for positives, prefers to lash out with pixels comparisons and share frustration, could be significant. I know because I took part in it myself, instead of using the charms of the game which, as you can see, is at the level of products released almost a year later. Sad ๐Ÿ˜•

    The future of Grid

PCARS 3 is just making debut nowdays and it's a great reference point for GRiD because we can realistically assess what level this class of games presents in the 2020 season. I don't know where they drew their stylistic inspiration from, but drivers' clothes and their silhouettes doesn't look good. On the plus side, you can see that there is more fun in the garage, but on the track, the graphics of the surroundings look more or less at the level of Grid, although this is only a superficial impression based on youtube. The sounding is interesting, as if it sped up some cheap toy cars with an electric motor, plus a bit cosmic electronic sounds. Listen from around 50:00 on this suspension work, it will take some getting used to ๐Ÿ˜‰ The whole thing looks interesting, but I do not see any spectacular jump in relation to the GRiD. The driving model in the previous parts PCARS did not arouse admiration. We will see how it will be this time, but we can already see that Grid is a strong title in its class. I have an overwhelming impression that GRiD collided with a wave of malcontents, which largely influenced the most repeated first opinions. It is interesting to what extent it had an impact on the sales results and finally the abandonment of this title by CM after less than a year. It's a pity because CM released a very playable car game and if there were new DLC seasons with new tracks and cars, it would win a lot of fans. If this game came out of a different dev mark and without the name Grid, it sure would be indicated today as a model of how a good racer should be, indicated by the same people who are so focused on spreading negative opinions ๐Ÿ˜• This thesis about the negative impact of the lodge of scoffers seems to be correct in that Dirt5 is currently excluded from commenting section. So something's wrong with this community support/ communication / cooperation ๐Ÿ˜•

    GRID Season 3 - Arriving April 15th

on the example of F1 2020 / Dirt 5 you can see perfectly well that the implementation of this option in both Grid and F1 2019 is a purely business move because technically F1 2019 and F1 2020 are twins

GRID the most underrated car game

why? tracks never enough ๐Ÿ˜‰ any new route would be a huge addition ๐Ÿ˜ƒ and even bigger game changer would be the split screen option, I could pay extra to have the same fun but with my buddies on one TV ๐Ÿ˜

    Learn the lesson people !!

Without exaggeration, I read and sometimes I have the impression that these are not only opinions but orders and for not carrying them out there will be a public crossing, endlessly. Even worse, when you read critical (sometimes disrespectful) posts you start to get screwed up and add your comments. You stop enjoying the new game but start enjoying pointless comparisons and writing about them feeling like a crusader. Let's cool down a bit, it is the publisher of the game that decides which ideas are relevant to him and what concept he has, and how much inspiration he will transfer from previous series to which the title refers. Grid, Dirt 2.0 and F1 2019 are great driving generation with a huge step forward of speed race impressions, but at the same time probably the most criticized. All three games have a phenomenal driving model, good graphic comparing to the competition like giant as Forza 7, great sounds, beautiful models of cars and a wealth of characteristics in the control. At the same time a diverse race grid that in one title and on just a dozen tracks can change the face so perfectly in each subsequent group of competitions from the entire domino that we have to unlock another race with fun from ride. And when we win all the competitions, having fun in the free mode, we can make our time more attractive by collecting new target cards. I like it ๐Ÿ™‚ Maybe we are looking for comparisons unnecessarily, and this stimulates such a snowball of criticism. Note that the longer the game collects platform opinions, the more positive player reviews appear. So it seems that the criticism was based mainly on different expectations of the group brought up on the previous parts. Maybe this is not the extended refreshed remaster of the cult game that many people dream of, but let's be honest - does the gameplay in the latest God of War resemble the iconic God of War III? Maybe the newest Grid will not be iconic, but it is a solid game with a great driving model that allows you to jump behind the wheel in so many cool competitions with beautiful realistic cars that I will recommend it in my reviews ๐Ÿ™‚ The only thing that Im asking for the CM team is not to put it out after less than a year and release minor DLCs

    GRID - Mode/Feature/Content Suggestions

The vast majority of best-selling games don't have any damage. It goes without saying that many Autosport-raised fans had higher expectations in this regard and are disappointed. On the other hand, the driving model is better and a lot of the gameplay experience looks much better, but it is not emphasized in opposition to the allegations. Grid, Dirt 2.0 and F1 2019 are successful generation, but at the same time probably the most criticized. All three games have a phenomenal atmosphere of the core gamplay - driving, but for some reasons everyone expected it to be an improved and extended version of the old conception. Maybe we are looking for comparisons unnecessarily, and this stimulates such a snowball of criticism. Note that the longer the game collects platform opinions, the more positive player reviews appear. So it seems that the criticism was based mainly on different expectations of the group brought up on the previous parts. Is this new formula actually worse and does not find buyers? Take a look at Dirt5 because it seems that Grid only paved the way, and the generation of players growing today is simply looking for quick raceing that they will jump into on the console or on the phone during the break between study and work. In my opinion, CM doesn't want to kick the horse, i.e. titles like MS Forza or Gran Turismo strongly supported by Sony. unexpectedly F1 series became a crown jewel of CM's portfolio with its growing population. also the strong position in games embedded in the WRC rally class is a hallmark of CodeMasters. at the same time, it can be seen that they feel the potential of a mass of users who do not enter so deeply into the envelope of a specific type of competition. I think that's why some of the CM product lines are looking for a shelf and want to mow as wide as possible. it does not have to mean worse impressions and perhaps a completely new idea will emerge here as I guess after reading reviews abuout the test demos of Dirt5. I will stick to the fact that CM promised us a split-screen in both F1 2019 and GRiD. after the launch of F1 2020 you can see that the game is only a cosmetic development based on its predecessor and it follows that CM could easily implement the split in F1 2019 (as promised) and in Grid and Dirt 2.0 because they did it with Dirt5 without any problems, which, judging by the screenshots, is very similar to both games by the engine itself. it's disappointing to CM customers because it gives a clear sense of this policy like you get a split but you have to buy our new title. the old proverb says that one satisfied customer will bring the company another six buyers, and one dissatisfied will make eleven never come. @ChrisGrovesMCM @CMTGK guys could You ask team CM about split update of GRiD? it could be even a paid DLC option

    GRID Season 3 - Arriving April 15th

sad :( it could be one of the most wanted update and some kind a deal breaker for some people wanna buy Grid
  19. @FlashStealth Could you stop popping up with your hate in every possible place? no, you do not criticize, it's some kind of **** i think. all of us here together with the dev team and publishers, we respect that the game did not meet your tastes. it hit mine and I think there are more people satisfied with this title. Despite a few shortcomings (which game does not have them?) this is a car game with one of the best driving models 19/20. there is no better optimized model on asphalt surfaces and it works great on pad and steering wheel, poetic well balanced - big thanks team CM. I jumped away from reading hate on the forum and I play regularly because it gives me a lot of fun. I don't care if Autosport had slightly better textures or rounder shapes. Damage model? this one is pleasing to the eye, quite sufficient. making a Grid a simulator where I would be stopped or slow down by every damage ๐Ÿ˜• this would kill the dynamics of these tight races. So I can understand why the damage model has been limited and it suits me, but I also understand the criticism where many people would like to be able to set these parameters in options. Despite the complaints about too little content, this race grid in the game menu is very pleasantly varied and the ladder pleasantly motivates you to clasp on it to unlock the next competition. yes, there is no extensive career here, but not everyone needs it. At first I didn't pay attention to the targets section, but now, when I come back for a moment, it amuses me in getting these cards and I must admit that it diversifies and extends the game. The game does not have an extensive garage, there are not many other extensive options that you will meet in other titles, but if I had to select a game that I would take with me on a business trip or vacation, it would be Grid because although there is no extensive and landscape-rich Forza, it gives much more fun to control the car If You want a roller coaster with a soap driving model but with huge open world, beautiful landscapes and hundreds of some kind similar cars, just buy yourself the Forza H game. If you want maximum simulation of racing on closed tracks then buy it Assetto Corsa Competizione. If you want a career with mileage scoring, training and licenses just buy Gran Turismo Sport. Grid is not like the other, never was and will not be like these games because it is a completely different idea and approach to the fun of racing in different groups. The community in the form of several users with different expectations gives this game the opinion of a bad unsuccessful and this is motivated by different expectations, nonsense. A normal person expresses his opinion culturally if something does not suit him. If you do not like the shoes, you express your opinion and buy other shoes, and you do not feed yourself by whipping the shoes, writing in each toilet how much you hate them. I really liked this game and am glad to see some more support for this Grid game, thanks CM team
  20. @CMTGK referring to the proposed form of communication, there is one the most important community expectation - please give us similar to the DiRT Rally 2.0 graphics options I would like to ask people who support this expectation to write a post with a phrase UP
  21. pleasing textures and details ... and trees ... please stop ๐Ÿ˜‰
  22. would you agree with me that the current map view is useless and annoying? I often find myself looking at the route ahead or where I am one the track and I have to admit that the current view of the map is completely useless for me, maybe apart from seeing how far the opponents are behind (but in practice about potentially approaching rival inform me directional markers prompting about from which side someone is approaching to overtake us) @CMTGK is the team going to somehow improve this poorly designed element? I toss the readable map view on an example from the DriveClubDriveClub
  23. true, these sun rays effects are too sugary in new Grid edition. also I must admit that this problem does not apply to all routes. However, I would like to cut the thread brightness because I wanted to refer more to all advanced graphics settings in Dirt 2.0

    most difficult track

probably everyone agrees that the game is uneven and in some sense predictable. there is a lot of criticism to AI but have you noticed that there are tracks that are harder to win? for me Okutama and Barcelona is much harder to win or to take a better position in qualifying there is also a lack of adaptive prizes because taking first place in qualifying and keeping it in the main race is rather easy. while taking second place from 16 start position is not extra premium though three leagues harder to achieve. this makes the game some how step strategic and predictable. @CMTGK is there any chance for improvement in this matter?
