with my hdr monitor in the vast majority of cases the sky is too bright and washed out of colors, and poor exposure correction in the form of one slider is not helpful. but I agree with result of "artistic" vision. was wondering if something like lights/shadows sliders would be very helpful but this was not what the topic was about (I have already removed the unnecessary fragment from the first post regarding brightness tab). generally it's all about the settings available in Dirt 2.0, which I linked to on the screens -

misunderstanding, I delete this fragment because it is all about the settings on screenshots from dirt, and I unnecessarily noticed this brightness tab beside moving this one slider of brightness generally has no major impact on the level of light burns. in this aspect, the impact on the light mapping is very limited compared to other games and I dont like it -
the driving model is nice, car models also, great engines sounds the ambient graphic and cardboard terrible textures like a decade ago, many light bugs, poor LoD optimization, the tree models are so shaming poor the weather - overexposed or too much candy light effects, overall new Dirt is way better in reality and eye fun aspect the garage & profile a bit poor to enjoy it overall, it could have been outstanding edition, but it's just simple playable

it's a virtual impression that there is a group of designers who are constantly thinking how to improve this game. people did their job and the final product is launched (budget closed). the critical patch and DLC team are left. distribution sales managers and broadly understood marketing and social media spending remain. there won't be any overwhelming changes in how the game renders assets as mentioned above so please manage your expectations -
team branding is virtual here and drives sales. it is more like a film industry where a group of people gather to implement the project (here inspired by previous titles). after the approved implementation, the sales machine is started. the main project is closed and only cosmetic or critical corrections could be added. artists have split up or already have other projects in their business plan. the budget has been consumed and the final product is launched and earns there won't be any overwhelming changes (...) so please manage your expectations

I'm afraid that the concept of the Team is a deliberate marketing abuse here. CM is simply a well-known brand and it's easy to sell car games under this banner. Contracts are people who are to heat up the chops a little so that they can be sold again. Contents are cut at the same time because it makes no sense to raise costs since the financial result will be similar if we do half as much. Then a short testing phase and someone approves of it for sale. Persons participating in the project are billed and undertake other projects, remains to order the removal of possible errors. The design stage is closed. The rest is marketing costs, because from that moment only the sales result counts. That was the project ๐ -

The same goes for trees and other things that are usually whizzing past you at 180mph+. They aren't the main focus of the race, therefore aren't given as much allocation from the resource budget. That being said, we have made many visual tweaks and improvements to GRID 2019 since launch. Whilst it's easy to take cropped screenshots and compare the finer details, they aren't a true representation of the entire picture, especially when comparing to early development videos. Obvious graphical bugs will continue to be reported, by me, but there won't be any overwhelming changes in how the game renders assets as mentioned above so please manage your expectations. -

same on the other platforms. there are some config files and could be connected as graphic setting menu with optimal default. ofcourse, it's easier not to do it. you can always write that the whole environment while driving is blurred so why focus on details or settings. it is amazing that support is based on extracting the answers in a new closed thread. I'm slowly beginning to understand why such critical opinions about new CM products. I came by to say goodbye because I don't see the point to throw anything here. thanks & bye -

here are pokemons to catch ๐ catching them all will be quite a thrilling challenge, so take some time to prepare ๐ Here are some important factors that come into play 1. what about overexposed skyes mentioned many times here? 2. what about grid LOD effect mentioned here many times? 3. will the team work about awful awful awful awful trees problem? even some of them will be updated? 4. what about poor texture compared here with AS textures by the community? we did here a direct comparison of export textures from files, whether this problem was discussed by the team? do the community deserve any conclusions? please pointed feedback answers, thank you in advance ๐ธ -

overall despite these graphical mishaps and truncated content, must say I love this drive model ๐ -
this problem i think is related to the LOD and has a huge impact on the visual side of the game. this algorithm has been implemented mainly under trees and looks terrible, especially on contrasting edges. fading is a very popular technique for disappearing of moving away virtual objects. GRID does it more classically with balloons that are simply becoming more and more transparent. however, in the case of trees, a completely different model was chosen, which may have had a better perspective impression but does not work at all and looks ๐ฉ terrible. in addition, at larger distances and stronger lighting, everything becomes a flat cutout covered with a tragic-looking grid, this is a terrible impression and probably in no modern game there is no such effect. a major technical mid-season correction has been announced, that's great! @CMTGK can you contact the TEAM about this ๐ฉ effect and tell us what their answer is? below are examples (please click on the picture to better view the issue), it is very important to know what the TEAM think about this

let's give the new game maintainer a chance, a lot has already been written and shown here. @ChrisGrovesMCM left us yesterday but declared that changing guardian means community feedback on sugestions about GRID ๐ so lets see how it works ๐ค @CMTGK Houston do you hear me? ๐ the main issue is poor ambient graphic as for game of breake 2019/2020 and we found ๐ง that textures are so much better in Grid AS from 2014 ๐ต it seems that this could be easily improved and we all wish and pray for it ๐ the same is about those trees which simply require remodeling of a few ๐ฉ basic units ๐บ this game could sell better and set standards in raceing if the TEAM ๐ฏโโ๏ธ gathered strength and improve those elements that so strongly spoil the good experience of playing GRID ๐ -
