If you have the CD, extract the files from it onto a .ISO file, then mount it using a program. I use WinCDemu, and check the box to keep the drive mounted after restart, it will be no-CD without the weird stuff. Why bother with any game that you like? This is your opinion, and people have different opinions lol.
This has bigger chance of happening the higher the framerate is. Running in 144fps? Try limiting the game to 120fps at max. The physics in this game are dependent on the framerate, sadly. I play mostly with 85fps, and I don't like how the game starts to feel when going over 100fps
