I exported the .dds of the user livery directly from the fr2.nefs The only texture I changed was this one. It's the original texture with a new colour at 80% opacity.

Hi, I have being trying to paint the rims of the Fiesta R2, but I can't make the inside to take the colour, it only get painted the external side of the rim. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Any advise?

Dishing the DIRT - Two Teams, One Future

I hope that this news means the split between arcade and simulation, and we could get a Rally 3.0 game with more realism on the physics and in the competition.
  5. The results system still works like sh**, it's a waste of time to practice and join club races if you get stuck in middle of a season without the possibility to leave without losing everything you have done. Make the investment to solve the issue. This situation is a shame.

Anybody knows if it's possible to add a custom livery for the rallycross supercars 2019? I have been trying with the Peugeot 208 but I was only able to do it on the older version.

I made a very simple personal livery inspired on the Rally Argentino championship. The most difficult thing was to make the Pirelli Scorpion, P Zero and Sottozero tires logos.

    Colin McRae: FLAT OUT Pack

There was a change on the light? Now the sun blinds you sometimes. I didn't notice that before.

    Colin McRae: FLAT OUT Pack

The spanish codriver in Scotland speaks a lot faster and with more emotions than in the old events. It's a great improvement.

    Colin McRae: FLAT OUT Pack

I really like the Scotland stages, it feels different to the others. About the cars, the S4 isn't easy at the beginning, but then it shows his quality. The new Subaru of the Group-A is now my preffered car of the game. Well done !

    Tyre strategy

It could help for the tarmac tires, but CD should do a gravel tire as they are in real life, that means a tire with a very very stiff carcass (almost like a truck tire), and that's a base for a lot different sensations on the steering wheel. Gravel tires have a taller sidewall too (at least in modern cars), so the way they flex is different than the tarmac tires, both kind of tires should lose the grip in a different way in concordance with their construction, material, dimension and tread. Here is a video that explain some characteristics of gravel tires.

    Tyre strategy

I don't think that tires uses any temperature value, it looks more like it uses wear values that's a lot easier to implement. Temperature is closely related with tire pressure, and there is no tire pressure to adjust or to check. I think tires are the biggest debt on this game. I don't ask for something too complex, but tires should work better, they should have a better transition from grip to slide, it would bring better feedback to the driver. About the compounds, they current ones seem wasted as everybody uses the soft. There should be less difference about grip between different compounds, and wear should must be a bigger factor than today. In example, a soft tire should last only one stage, so you should choose the medium compund for those events when there isn't asistance between stages.
  13. For Dirt Rally 3.0 I hope an improvement on the slick tires with a better transition. I don't ask for tires as complex as in rfactor2 but the feeling must be improve. It looks like the weird performance of the slick tire was solved adding more grip, but the problem is still there. The RWD cars need work to solve the odd way they lose the rear almost without advise and without return when it starts. Maybe this is directly connected with the slick tire, but on the gravel the RWD cars act the same.
