If you disconnect from the internet to remove and then reinstall the drivers you have to have downloaded them first.

Download latest drivers. Disconnect Internet. DDU Intel, don't restart. DDU Nvidia, restart. Install Intel, don't restart. Install Nvidia, restart. Connect Internet.

And then what next? (I don’t want to mess anything up.)

Yeah, you need to hit the 'Save all Information' button and upload the .txt file here as an attachment.

But I can see if you have the Dell supplied drivers, you are well outdated.

    Start (right-click)|System|System Info|Advanced System Settings|Hardware|Device Installation Settings>No

Download the Intel Driver and Nvidia Driver. Disconnect the internet. DDU the drivers.

Start (right-click)|Device Manager|Display Adapters(Right-click each)|Properties|Driver|Uninstall Device Check the 'Delete the driver software for this device' for both adapters.

    Restart after each removal.

When both are removed, install the downloads. Restart after both is installed.

Delete the hardware_settings_config.xml, launch the game.

DDU the drivers? IDK what that means (sorry).

Where can I find the hardware_settings_config.xml file to delete it?

  3. I have recently downloaded the F1 2019 game on my laptop, but it keeps crashing after startup. I’m almost certain that my pc specs meet the min requirements and so I am very confused. I have tried verifying the files, using -safemode, and trying DirectX 11 and 12. If someone could help me with my problem that would be great! I have an Intel i5-7300HQ, GTX 1059, and 8GB DDR4 RAM.

    Thanks,

    Lance
