Hi,
as my friend recently purchased F1 2019 we tried to play an unranked race. The game itself works fine, but the AI Pace is flawed. No matter what AI skill level is chosen the AI's always split into two groups, the normal one with normal pace (fitting the selected AI level) and one where the AI drives like it doesn't know what its doing and drops back ten seconds in half a minute (This happens while racing and while in the formation lap aswell). There are no error codes and this happens regardless of who is hosting. My friend says his car is slower aswell since im qualifying ahead of him, but I can't guarantee that this is true as I cannot see his driving (It's always his car that is slower, regardless of who is hosting. We are both driving for the same team).
We are both using version 1.22.
This seems to happen consistently as we tried 5 times while switching hosts inbetween attempts. We are playing Unranked Races in a friends only lobby, using realistic cars. This happened once before in F1 2018, but only once.
Im using a Thrustmaster TX Racing wheel, but I also tested it using a controller and it does not seem to affect the problem.
Does one half of the AI adjust its pace because he is slower than me or is that actually a bug?
