Hi everyone, just a question about how the top % works in the weekly event. For example at the moment I am in position 761 out of 8957 in qualifying. I am in top 8%. Using a percentage calculator I can see that top 9% would be 806 and top 8% would be 716. I'm basically right in the middle. So my question is... do the percentages go to 8.9 etc.. meaning if someone is at the top 5% will they get that rank if they are 5.8% Or 5.9% ? Or do you have to be 5.0% or under? Hope I made that somewhat clear

Ok I realized I made that more difficult than needed and my brain kinda hurts. It goes by 0.5 percents. So if your position is 8.5 Or lower you will be top 8% if you are above 8.5 you will be top 9%. If you are equal to or below 10.5 you will get top 10% rank. If above you will miss out on the top 10% rank trophy. If you are equal to or below 5.5 % you will get the top 5% rank trophy. If you are above 5.5 % you will miss out and get the top 10% rank trophy. I will stop typing words now.

So after watching the rank for a few minutes I've figured it out. Trying to explain it is going to be difficult but here goes... So looking at my earlier post I was in position 761 out of 8957 putting me in the top 8%. I was directly in the middle of 8% of 8957 and 9% of 8957. There were 45 people either way of me. Faster and slower. After another person went 8958 and beat my time I went up to top 9%. Meaning if the difference is faster than you, you will go to the higher rank.. in this case 9%. At this time I am back to top 8%. I am in position 762 out of 8967 meaning the difference between faster and slower is equal or greater in the slower times. So if you're in the middle of 2 percents like me ( 8 and 9 ) and there are 45 people either side of you... you will be given the lower rank % or 8. If there were 44 people faster and 46 people slower you will be given the top 8% rank. And you will be given the top 9% rank if 46 people were faster and 44 were slower. If the number is even on both sides you will be given the lower % or 8 in this case. I hope I didn't confuse the F out of people.

Can someone from Codemasters please tell me why we haven't recieved our competition points and trophy from the previous Weekly event. I spent alot of my time preparing to get a decent score and was proud to be in the top 7% with the slower Williams 96 car. Will we get our prizes and when? Alot of people would like to know. You don't answer emails so I'm forced to sign up here and try to get an answer this way. WE WANT OUR PRIZES, this is turning me off F1 2019. Why compete if we don't get what we're told we'll get? We can't share our accomplishments with our friends or rivals. Why waste our time?
