When you go to the customisation page and go to car liveries, you will see your car on the screen. At the bottom of the screen, there will be a button marked "use car livery". Hit that button, it's X for me as I'm on Ps4. It will ask you to select where you would like to use this car livery and then give you boxes labeled multiplayer and solo, and my team. If you check off both those boxes then you will be able to use your car livery for both those game modes.

Just wanted to say that if Russia - Sochi Autodrom was in the highschool year book, it would say underneath, voted most likely to be invalidated.

The AI difficulty is usually set somewhere around 40 or 50 for the GP races by CM, very low. It has no effect on the score for a Weekly Event GP. In a Featured Event, the difficulty bonus you see, is in fact based on what you as the player, set the AI difficulty to. The higher the AI difficulty is set, the higher the score will be.

It's a glitch in the game. Better known as the RPM glitch. If you're trying to watch another car during short qualifying for example, it may happen. It is incredibly annoying. Also can happen at the end of the race or qualy like in the video you posted. If you check out TRL Limitless's last TSRL league race in China, it happens when he's trying to watch another player during qualifying. I'd rather listen to Marge Simpson howling in my opinion.

Ya a 30.2.... Not possible. The player should be deleted already. Jarno Opmeer did a 31.9 PB, last time I checked. And that wasn't in a qualifying session where you get 3 or 4 tries. Everybody knows TT laps will always trump a qualy lap. My qualy lap for Singapore was a 33.7 My PB in TT is a 33.0.

@nitraMnotsA You want the majority of the race to be done using fuel setting 2. For the straights and while in DRS or overtake, you should switch to fuel mode 3 for maximum power. The only reason to use lean fuel or fuel mode 1 is to conserve fuel if you are getting low. Fuel mode 1 can also help with getting traction out of a slow turn, but I never bother with it. It's too much of a hassle switching fuel modes. Some will switch to lean on every slow turn but it's not necessary. When you enter the race and are given the strategy and fuel amount, add a little. If you have 20 litres for example, add .6 or .7 litres. It's better to have more fuel than less. You can always burn it off. Also the extra fuel does not affect the speed of the car when it's full at the start of a race. Everybody is full.

So I start my practice today for my first GP race at Singapore. I enter the 2pm EST race only to have it say "no suitable match found" and "retry or cancel"? I hit retry multiple times and it then takes me out of the Weekly Event and places me in the Ranked lobbies by myself. This is the first time this has happened and it's turning me off the Weekly Events. If there is a lack of people in an event, like Singapore where the numbers are quite low (3,822), it should just put you in a lobby alone with the AI. After all, it's not a real race. It's a 15 lap time trial. Winning means s%i+ if you're slow as a turtle. Nothing better than waiting an hour to try again 👎. Judging by the current Leaderboard, this is a wide spread issue. Alot of people that always have raced by now have not. Sure it could be they are busy but it's out of character for some to not have gone yet. I think it's time for me to seek out a competitive league, where you're not racing the clock and you race actual people.

Hi CM, on the next patch can you make the MP car usable in the offline GP mode please. I see it is now usable in TT so it would be great if it is also usable in GP mode. It will make for great practice for the Weekly Events using our Custom cars.

@BarryBL I started doing wet TT and it made me want to ask you if CM can design an all Wet Weekly Event GP for one of the weeks F1 is at a track not available to us, instead of a Classic GP or Featured Event. I'd like to see a completely wet Weekly Event. Qualifying wet, and the races all wet. Wet tires from start to finish. None of the "it rains at different times" nonsense. Just rain and wet tires for the entirety of the Event. Not inters. I think it will be a great challenge and force some to experience a part of the game they may otherwise not play. I would suggest Brazil or Zandvoort for the location. Since I started playing 2019, I've never seen an entire wet Event so I think it could be a fun thing to do. Multiplayer cars, not Classic.

Do you also use no assists? Because that's a whole different ballgame...

Ya I gotta chime in here. The majority of players lack the intelligence of how to race cleanly. Patience is non existent. The mentality of most I find, is to get in front however and whenever they can, no matter what the tactic is. Usually the tactic is bumper car related. I don't get passed often but I do alot of passing, and usually at the first turn after the pass, the player you just passed will run into the back or side of you and spin you out. Rather than just accept they are slower. Ranked races are brutal.

Hi CM. I was wondering if you could update the community on the progress of the anti-cheat measures you said you'd be implementing. People are still able to get unrealistic scores in things like the Weekly Events. Currently in Italy there are a few people who have benefited from cheating. Whenever you get a minute, an update would be appreciated. Thank you

@janbonator. You are P7 and I should be P9. But because of the 4 scores at the top we are 4 places further up the Leaderboard. We both missed out on our deserved top 10 finish. @BarryBL The only way to ensure this issue doesn't continue to happen is you need to designate a staff member to unfortunately wake up at 4 or 5 am your time and purge the leaderboards on all platforms before the event ends. Either that or you need to figure out a way to allocate the proper trophies after the Event ends if staff has not purged the leaderboard pre-events end and they do it after, as has happened in the past. It may seem silly to some but I enjoy displaying my trophies and I get a sense of pride for getting a top 10 finish. It is a competition after all. Hopefully staff can figure out the proper and most effectively consistent way to deal with this. I think my suggestion of purging before the event ends is really the only effective way, perhaps you can designate this job to an individual you trust who lives in the Western part of the World and will be able to complete this task at a more reasonable hour. Below you will see an image of the 4 scores I've mentioned. They are clearly not obtainable had the event been done legitimately. It should take a few seconds for someone to say, these scores are bs and need to go. Then however long the process takes to delete them.

You may have already done this or the settings may already be set to 100. I will add my comment anyway, just in case this may be a fix. At the home screen go to game options, then settings, then controls vibration and force feedback, select G29. Select edit next, then head over to vibration and force feedback. Here you will see a bar labeled vibration and force feedback strength. It may just be the number is set very low or 0. Mine is set to 100. I also have a G29. This is what will give you the feedback. After you set It, save your new control scheme. If this is not the solution, disregard this comment. I forgot to add, right above the vibration and force feedback strength bar is a bar labeled vibration and force feedback. Here it may be in the off position. If it is off, turning it on may also be the solution.

I'm on Ps4, I've done a 1.08.8 at Monaco. I can't say that I've ever noticed a bump there at all. In 2019 Suzuka, yes. I agree with @TurkeySloth2107. If you're hitting the wall you are breaking too late. What I find works for me on the main straight is, I reach 7th gear, Upon arriving close to T1, I downshift to 3rd and start my turn, after getting 3/4 through the turn I short shift to 4th and exit the turn in 4th. I don't really have a visual breaking point for T1 at Monaco. I just go by depth perception. It can be a pain to nail when going for a TT lap. In a race I am more cautious as it's very easy to cut the corner. My advice would be to practice the turn by starting breaking slower. Break early and repeat until you notice that you are able to break a little bit later. What you want to eventually get to is downshift to 3rd before the turn and try to take as much kerb without cutting. As you make the turn, do that short shift to 4th and accelerate out of the turn up the track. If you use auto gears then I can't help ya. Hopefully this will be of some help to you. I should also add that you want more downforce at Monaco to help you with all the tight turns. The less downforce, the more likely you'll be pinballing around the track.

Here's what us Ps4 users are dealing with in this week's Italian Grand Prix Event. This is the highest number of cheat/exploit scores I've seen since the launch of 2020 in a Weekly Event. 4 and most likely counting. The highlighted time/score is the real first place score. It is important to publicly show CM and the community this issue. It is not improving. @BarryBL @Hargers @jennyannem @PJTierney If you don't intend to remove these individuals from the leaderboards before the event ends, what are you doing to combat this? Removing them after the event ends is a pointless action unless you are going to then allocate the proper trophies to all players. If the event ended right now, I'd be P11 due to these 4 cheat/exploit scores. My real position would be P7. I as well as others would much rather display a P7 trophy than a P11. I enjoy earning these trophies and putting my best ones on display. It is why I bought and play your game. You offer a global competition each week, it should be your responsibility to make sure the competitions each remain cheat/exploit free.

I'm in Canada, The last race for me is 9pm Est. I think Australia starts and ends first, then as you get into different time zones, it flows that way going West. The more West you are, the later the event starts and ends. The event ends Sunday night at 12am Est. Or Monday morning at 12am Est. Whichever you like. Same to me. But yes, in the future You can do as many races as you like. Just make sure you do better or it can be a long day lol. And use the pit assist. It saves time and takes out the possibility of getting that 5 second penalty. And doesn't affect the assist bonus score.

I'm not sure. I always save screenshots of my score. My Ps4 is off right now. Most of my laps were decent. One lap I went off the track slightly in lesmo 1. Correction, it was the second chicane. I was one with the gravel for a second. I got a clean start and won the race by like a full lap. I only did the one race. I can do a few thousand points better but I have zero motivation to do so given the 4 exploit/cheat times. There's no point if I'm not going to get the actual trophy I deserve. I had 2 track warnings also by lap 2 so I had to drive a little cautious for the remaining 11. I'm content with knowing I'm in the top 10....for now(excluding the exploit/cheat scores) at Italy, race pace wise. You should turn your pit assist on. It doesn't affect your score and you can go full speed into the pits. It's the only assist I run during these Events. You need every advantage you can get in these things. People are quick, yourself for example. You should race again. There's no penalty. Your score just gets wiped away so make sure you do better which I think you can.

When this happened to me, I almost threw up lol. I had visions of everything disappearing. I'm glad to hear you didn't lose anything besides a weekend. It sucks lol

@BarryBL PS4 version 1.22 I just wanted to share an issue I encountered about an hour or so ago. I am now only just able to relax because everything seems normal and all my data in my game is still there. ( HOLY MOSES THANK GOD IT IS STILL THERE ) The issue occurred when I entered time trials with the 1998 McLaren mp4-13 @ Mexico. I was planning on practicing my laps for the race coming up this weekend. After choosing Mexico my PS4 shut off. I thought maybe it was overheating because I've been racing all day. That was not the case. It took a few tries for it to turn on, I actually thought for a second it may have moved on to PS4 heaven. It's only 5-6 months old so I would have been very surprised. Anyway, when it came on there was an error report. I can't tell you the code but I reported it to PS4 with a brief description of what happened. Upon relaunching F1 2019, I was met with a screen that almost gave me a heart attack. It said exactly this Corrupted Save, Recovery: 6522DF69-6522DF69-2144DF1C Your save data is corrupted. Do you want to attempt a recovery? This may result in a loss of data. Yes/No You can imagine my mindset at this point in time. I kept reading the last part and thinking... I do not want to lose data. What I ended up doing from this screen was hitting the circle on my controller or the back button. It took me to another screen that said the following. Corrupted Save, Backup Detected. Would you like to attempt to restore the available backup data? Yes/No After countless online searches about this issue I was nearly convinced I was about to lose everything. So the 2nd option to attempt to restore the available backup data was the one I chose. I closed my eyes and hit yes (literally) My game loaded and earlier in the night I had made it to gold XP level 45. It now said 43, so I'm thinking if all I lost was 2 XP levels then no biggie. I notice my customisation had the yellow dot on it meaning something new was there. I went in and the Gold XP 45 badge was in there. I chose it and my XP went right back up to 45 where it was before. Everything was back and the way I left it. Since then I have tested the game to make sure it is saving. I set a lap on a time trial to see if my time would be saved, I also did a qualifying lap in unranked to get a few XP points to see if they would remain after closing the game, signing out of PSN, and restarting my console. After doing just that I was tickled pink to see everything was there and the saving feature was working. Question, Why did this happen and what do I need to do as a player to make sure my data doesn't go jump off a cliff and flip me the bird on the way down? It appears the game has some sort of backup restore built in. At least that's what seemed to happen when it fixed itself after choosing yes to the 2nd option. Question, Does Codemasters have all player data saved on a computer somewhere so it can't disappear? Sorry I just wrote a book here but I wanted to be thorough and detailed.

There's 3 now. The top 3 have all exploited/cheated. All over 600k. The real 1st place score is 329 or 330. Can't remember exact score. PS4 is off at the moment. UFC is on. I'm in P9 but should be P6. Probably going to miss out on being in the top 10 because of it. At least I got all my points this week.

@Flash42G I completely agree that a staff member should review each platform and remove the obvious cheat/exploit scores. I've suggested it myself in the past. It really is the only way to stop these individuals from getting away with it. It's the most simple and effective solution.

This is a public forum. I would never tell anyone not to post in here. This is a public issue, so posting it in the public chat is the responsible thing to do as everyone will be able to read the response from CM. But thank you for your comment and interest on the subject.

It happens alot. I've been a leader on here in terms of trying to get CM to fix it. If it's a bug, it's a weird one. We know people are able to have things like extra grip etc due to cheats they enact. I'm more sure they have figured out a way to game the system. It just seems unlikely that a bug would cause a person who didn't qualify to have 300,000 points more than the actual first place guy who I know is legit. Whatever it is, we know a fake time/score when we see one so CM needs to either fix it or monitor the leaderboards and remove these individuals before the event ends.

Does anybody know what the point of the Esports Event in China that is currently on the go is about? I find it weird that it's not in 2020 instead. What is the outcome for the winner? Is there anything, or just the top 5% trophy that hundreds of people will also get. Is it just a glorified Featured Event? This is my first Esports Event.
