You don't get many customisation options though. Alot of the tier slots were empty. For only 30, you think each one could of had a livery or gloves or a helmet to name a few.

I too have reached tier 30. I was kinda surprised because it didn't really take that long. I thought it would be at least 50 or 100. I think if you do any challenges now, you'd be wasting your time unless you enjoy the challenges. You won't be rewarded with anything. For the amount of challenges that there are, the tier level does not go even close to high enough. Given all the challenges and getting XP for even completing Time Trial laps, the tiers should go up to at least 100. Or it should take more than 3500 to level up. That's not much at all.

If you go into Customisation and choose Car Liveries, you can pick any of the available cars you see before you. You can change the color unless it's the 70 edition and or Schumacher Liveries. If you already have a car, go into Customisation and go to edit and then Liveries. That's where all the cars are. Customise away and when done hit equip. Go back to the first section of Customisation where your car was (where you hit edit) and then hit Use Car Livery. There it will ask you where you would like to use the car. Select Multiplayer and any online race you take part in, it will be with that car. Performance on all the cars are the same.

Good question. I never payed attention. So I just did 2 laps in Time Trial while offline and then 2 while connected to PSN. The 2 offline I did not get any XP so the answer is yes, you need to be connected to PSN to get the XP. The good thing like I said before is I've finished both Career and My Team and the whole game for that matter, I have the Platinum and this has not blocked my screen once during anything other than ranked and unranked races so you should be just fine if you choose 50% races. If it does just pause the game until it's gone. Online races you unfortunately can't stop time

I've experienced it more than I'd like online. I've never had it happen during career mode or my team mode or Time Trials. Just ranked and unranked races. If you're not signed in to your network I don't think you can get it. I'm on PS4 so if I play offline I don't think it's possible as I'm not connected to anything online.

It's possible they've been removed. They've removed 1 of the 2 from the PS4 Leaderboard today. The 1st place guy is now someone who didn't even set a qualy time and used 2 assists and somehow managed to score 48,000 more points then the actual real 1st place guy. Not possible. It's a nice gesture but too little too late. Also the person they removed today is still listed as number 1 in the previous weeks results section.

Hi @KieranG92. The online mode in F1 2020 has a few different sections. First off in order to get a skill rating and a safety rating you must complete 5 ranked races. This rating goes on your Super License and is used to match you against other opponents of similar rank in all ranked races. There is a section specifically for Ranked races. In this section. You will race in 5 lap races or 25% races, your choice. If you do poorly however, you're skill rating will drop. If you crash into others and get penalties your safety rating will drop. If you do well the opposite happens. Beware though, people online can be very aggressive. There is also an unranked section where none of the above mentioned matters. You can simply pick and choose or create what track, race you'd like to do. This is where you can go to race against others and not worry about rank or safety rating. If you crash it doesn't matter. Penalties... who cares. It's a bit of a free for all, but entertaining and can be amusing. Another section in the online play are leagues. You can join other players in scheduled races that can be once a week at a certain time etc.. for this you have an attendance rating on your Super License. It starts at A. If you join a league and don't show up to races, it will drop down lower and lower. D is the Lowest. It just looks ugly and doesn't really affect anything. Finally you have my Favorite. Weekly Events. These are comprised of a practice session, a qualifying session and a 25% race. This is a Global Competition where you are placed on a Global Leaderboard. You compete against others to see where you stack up in the Entire World. It averages 10,000 players a week. There are also Featured Events when there is not a Weekly Grand Prix. These are also my Favorite. These are race scenarios that you have to pass and you get a score if you pass them. For Example, you could be Max Verstappen and at Canada you begin the race with 8 laps to go and are in P8. You have to finish the race in P1. This is done against the AI. You choose the difficulty. You're score reflects the difficulty chosen.the higher the AI setting the higher the score. I tried to best kinda sum up on here as I didn't want to write a novel. You can find more information on these sections in game using the help section if you purchase it. I think if you do, you won't regret it. It's addicting, in a good way. Also PS4 user

I agree with you on this. The problem is removing obvious cheat times is a known checkmark in terms of success and it's not being done. If you want progress, you have to start somewhere. And doing nothing or doing it half @$$ is not a good start in trying to solve this issue. We all want the same thing here. Cheating to stop and the Leaderboards to be pure.

Right now we're not dealing with subtle cheaters. So we cross that bridge if and when we get to it. Right now we're dealing with obvious cheaters so at this point in time, my suggestion will tackle the issue that we currently face.

That's why I suggested an actionable solution that does work. All it requires is a little bit of someone's time. We all know measures don't work. Simply eliminate them from the Leaderboards before the Event ends. This is being made more difficult then needed

Monitor the Leaderboards. You can put all the measures in place you want. You claim to have measures in place right now that you are looking to improve.. those measures clearly do absolutely nada. So why should we believe improving those measures will be any better? There were 3 cheaters overall in this week's Britain GP on PS4. You removed 1 on Saturday. 2 more people cheated on the Sunday and they were not removed so you have P1 and P2 going to cheaters.. obvious cheaters I might add. All the company had to do was remove the 2 before the Event ended and problem ACTIVELY solved without "measures" that clearly won't work. I just don't understand why something we know will stop cheaters from winning (by monitoring and removing from the Leaderboard) is being ignored as a solution. It appears that is the only actionable solution to ensuring cheaters don't get away with it.

Codemasters, please look at the PS4 Leaderboard. Already there is probably the most unrealistic score I've seen thus far. They need to be removed and this Leaderboard needs to be monitored because I'm sure there will be more of it to come. 270,000 points ahead of P2 with a 4 second slower qualy time and all Assists... seems legit 🤔

There may also be a section on the screen when setting the game settings for the races . On my screen it was in the right hand side and it told me to push triangle on my controller to switch between casual or standard. You may need to restart a new my team season and try that when putting in the gameplay settings for the season. Also you're in the race in that picture. Try going to that same menu when you are in the my team home menu. Then preferences, then Assists. From there you should be able to customize what Assists you use. If you can't then I cannot help you any further.

And ranked

If you go to the pause screen while in My Team. PS4 for me is the option button. Go to preferences and then Assists. There you should be able to change what Assists you use. That should do it. Disclaimer... I'm not 100% it will do what you're looking to do but I think it should

Agreed 100%, it's the one track I look forward to ripping around. Way to congested though for a real race

Thank you for your comment. It's nice to read something other than people complaining about what and how often I post on a public forum. That's one thing I won't do. If I don't like something or I see someone posting about a topic everyday. You won't find me trying to silence them. I'll simply move along and pay them no attention. I'm glad you understand why it annoys me and I too hope they can squash the cheaters once and for all. ✌

People like competing in them, people don't like seeing cheaters win. It's a competition. You can enjoy career mode or my team mode. If the game is providing a Global Competition, they should also make sure it's free of cheaters.

I stopped doing the practice sessions because of that. I just go straight to qualifying now.
