  1. Me: "Gap to the car ahead." Jeff: "Confirmed, we'll fit the intermediate tires in your next stop." Worst part, I didn't think I had another stop, so I ignored him, then forgot all about it. Then I did have to stop, and he actually did put the intermediate tires on. They lasted until turn 5 and turned to molten rubber. 🤣 Also, we should be able to give commands to Jeff about pit stop changes (tires, wing) while we're trundling down the pit lane. We're always at the far end, so there's time for the mechanics to run back in and get a different set of tires. 😛

If this is during a race, there's a way to set "Look back" (on track only) to a control. Make sure it's not the brake pedal. If it's during the last part of a formation lap (and other times as well I think) it's normal. Your steering wheel and pedals operate your "look around" controls (look left and right with the steering wheel, look behind you with the brake) when the AI takes over your car.
  3. Can confirm this bug. 1. A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. I did a race as Kevin Magnussen at Brazil and won the race. The challenges to do a race as Kevin Magnussen and win a race in Brazil did not complete. I wasn't recording at the time, so I started recording (using my streaming software) and then redid the same race. The second time both challenges did complete properly. Settings (as best I remember): No practice, One-shot qualy, 3 lap race, AI at 20. There was no requirement for minimum difficulty, race length, or anything else. 2. Platform PC 3. What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) 1.06 4. Game-mode? Grand Prix 5. What are your replication numbers? Minimum test attempts are 4. Please also add EXACT replication steps for us to try too. I've had this happen once before when doing a daily challenge. Sorry, I forgot to post it at the time and I'm not sure which challenge it was. I usually run with No Practice, 1-shot Qualy, and a 3-lap race. 6. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue It worked the second time. Not sure that counts. 7. What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) T300 with F1 Formula wheel 8. Any screenshots or video of the issue? If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears.
  4. Definitely put in a proper bug report. If you're on PC include your DxDiag file. It may be related to hardware you're using.

Whos fault is this at Spa ? ( discussion )

Look at Rosberg and Hamilton, at Spa. Hamilton went into the gap that Rosberg left, Rosberg squeezed him off the track, they both ended up having an early shower.

    Would be funny if...

I have Jack Aitken as my team mate. When he's in for his stop, Jeff comes on and tell me "Jack is in the pits. Jack in the pits." Don't even try to tell me nobody thought to use "Jack in the box." 🤣 (With all due respect to Jack; I think he's a great driver.)

    Wet track, dry weather

Agreed - especially for practice purposes. As a workaround, set custom weather so that the first slot is rain and the second is sun, then wait for the rain to stop?

Make practice less mandatory or less the same

There needs to be more things to choose from. Currently, if you want max resource points, you have to do all the programs. And they never change. Add more things that could be done during a session: High fuel, long race sim High fuel, long stint on each compound of tire Series of continuous green sectors or laps Specific things to practice according to the track: (Example) Navigate turns 11 and 12 in Australia without dropping below a certain speed Hit a series of apexes perfectly Braking: Hit the brakes in the marked zone and still hit the apex Corner exit: From a certain speed, brake into the corner, hit the apex, and accelerate out again, hitting the next marker within a certain time Then let us choose the 5 we want to do for the resource points. Harder ones give more points. And as you level up, you can choose more things to do over the 3 practice sessions, gaining you even more resource points.

Bungee-cord powered wheel resistance versus Fairly good force feedback. Oh yeah. 🙂 Do some searching for FFB settings for it in the game. A lot of times you don't want it at 100% because it "distorts" and you lose the fine details.

    reset to track

Indeed. Online is in real time. If you spin or go off track, make your way back onto the track in a safe manner. Should definitely be added to the list of Assists that can be toggled in lobbies.

    Display numeric values with colors

This is just a lovely solution. Please, Codies, make this a thing.

    Some Ideas for Multiplayer!

This. I honestly don't understand why you would get sent to the main menu, instead of just back one step to the Multiplayer menu. In my case, it makes sense. I don't care for online (random) races as there are too many torpedoes. So when I do play in one of those races, once I get pushed into the wall, I usually don't want anything to do with multiplayer anyway. So ending up back at the main menu is somewhat therapeutic. 🤣 Also, is there only ever one lobby? When I go to ranked, I never see a list of choices; it loads me into a lobby, regardless of what stage that lobby is (often lap 5 of a 5 lap race). Are there no other choices for lobbies? How does one even start to look for one? Can we? I wanted to start my own and I just can't figure out how. I get that I'm missing something. Anyone want to give me a hint?

    Weaving Ai in F12020?

Yet somehow their tires are up to temperature, and their race starts are flawless. 🤣

My personal feedback @ half of season 2

I can confirm what you have written is also the case at 50, 60, and 70 AI (I've been working my way up). I qualify low, but finish the race much higher. The AI seem to start at the instant the lights go out. I watched a replay of my race the other night and as soon as the lights went out, the AI cars started moving. I have excellent reflexes, but they're so fast off the line any team would ask for the stewards to have a look at the telemetry to check for a jumped start. But then, once they get going, they don't seem to keep that pace. AI performance in the wet seems to have dropped off too much. I'm not that good in the rain, but I am better than most of the AI. Whereas in dry conditions, not as good. Maybe boost them a bit in the rain. Can't comment on the last two points as I haven't had that much experience in mixed weather conditions, and I haven't run a one-stopper yet.

    Wrong Texture

This isn't a bug. Drivers use different coloured visors depending on the weather. For all we know, the visor on the helmet he used in the next weekend was actually the same as what's in the game.

    Manual and suggested gears

As an example: Turn 11/12 in Australia, the high-speed chicane, I believe the suggested gear going into turn 11 is 5th? Not sure, but I think that's right. Once you get used to it, and you're hitting the braking point exactly, you can do it in 6th. Imagine how much time you'll gain by doing that entire section at a higher speed.

    Alternative push button Overtake

There are a lot of requests for this in the forum, and I think it's actually gone to the developers for a look. Always a good idea to do a search for the topic to see if there are other posts written. 🙂

    TV-pod as an assist.

Actually, no. Teams have their own simulators, and they do not rely on this game (as good as it is) to train their drivers. Actual drivers have stated, about F1 2019: "I have to use medium traction control for it to feel like a real F1 car." Also, no need to be insulting. Everyone has their views. 🙂

Update Safety Car MBenz GT R?

Yeah, let's get it working properly, then worry about what it looks like. I can never see it clearly enough anyway. It's a silver car with lights that I follow around for a few laps. I'm usually paying more attention to my tire temps anyway. 😛

    Manual and suggested gears

If you're at the point where the suggested corner gear is too low for you, then you have definitely outgrown that assist. Just turn it off, learn the corners by heart, and you'll be faster.

    F2 feature race strategy

Continuing to ping the Community Managers multiple times for the same suggestion will not get it sent in any faster. Rest assured, posts in here get seen. Just because you aren't getting an answer doesn't mean Barry hasn't seen it. Patience, my friend. 🙂

    Full OSD in cockpit view

In the world of video games, nothing is "almost zero work." Hopefully this will get put in as a suggestion. In the mean time, there are other workarounds that might help. I suppose eventually, the best solution would be to pick up a top-end wheel with a display built in.

    Full OSD in cockpit view

Simdashboard, or another telemetry app, might be your answer. I use it on my phone, and place my phone above my wheel so I can see it while driving. You can have all sorts of info on the display, totally customizable. The free version allows you to have only a couple things on the display at once. If all you need is the revs and DRS, or Gear and Revs, that would work for you. If you want more data, you have to upgrade, but it's very inexpensive and (in my opinion) totally worth the couple bucks.

    TV-pod as an assist.

Yeah, this really does need to happen. Without VR this is really the only other option for cockpit drivers.

Deeper car customisation in My Team

This is undoubtedly the easiest way to do it (though it still isn't "easy" by any means). These assets are already in the game, even if they're part of something else. We have a front wing as an existing asset, for example, since that gets changed (and for some of us, far too often). "Chopping" the rear wing, side pods, etc off the cars and then gluing them back together would make the most sense. But for the steering wheel, it would be amazing to be able to totally customize it, right down to where the knobs and switches go. This might be tricky, since the avatar's hands adjust things, but I'm not too concerned about which button is adjusted by my avatar when I hit the DRS button. I'm more concerned with the placement and style of the DRS indicator lights. (as one example)
