Need help with slow corners grip

Hi everyone, I need a bit of help understanding what's wrong with how I handle slower corners. I play with the AI at 87 rating, without traction control, and on faster circuits, say Paul Ricard or Sotchi, I totally own the AI in my career. Considering the performance of my car (My Team, second season, I'm the 3rd slowest team in the overall performance, in front of Haas and Williams), I should be nowhere near the first 5 spots, but on those circuits I can get a podium without too many issues. And I am way faster than my teammate (he finishes 15th or less while I'm in the top 5, for instance) However, on circuits with loads of slower corners, like Monaco or Hanoi, I am totally outclassed. In Monaco, for example, I have huge amount of understeer at every corner entry. To counter that, I just brake earlier and more, making sure my turn starts with a slower speed. It kinda help, but that causes me to of course, be slower. The other issue is at the corner exit: I just have 0 traction. I am careful on the throttle, plus short shifts on 1st, 2nd and 3rd, all the way to 4th gear. And that's usually when I can go full throttle (4th gear), but even then, I had occasions where I spun even in 4th gear. I tried being even more careful with the throttle, but then I'm not even close to being able to follow the AI. It's as if they have a huge amount of grip while I just have wheel spin from 1st to 4th gear. After turns 8, 10/11 in Monaco, they can get so much distance at the corner exit it's ridiculous. I then spend the rest of the track trying to catch up on the faster corners.... I don't have a mega expensive steering wheel setup. I'm using the Thrustmaster TMX with the pedals that came with it. I feel it is totally fine for my needs, and I don't really think a more expensive set of pedals would help me a whole lot. Anyways... any tip or advice is more than welcome. I don't really wanna start setting the AI rating at a different number from one race to another, there is no logic to that in my mind. Thanks in advance.

[F1 2019]- AI levels of aggression

You can call it a semantic but I think it's a question of the AI being stupid, not being agressive. The AI will just follow its racing line, no matter what, which is kinda dumb. I believe this is what was showcased in that video by glenmack. Hamilton is not ramming him, he's just going back to it's line even if it means crashing into the player. And, in slow mo, as they touch, it pushes the AI off track and at that point the AI should just yield and accept putting the wheels off track. Instead, the AI just pushes in the opposite direction to stay onto the track (which makes it look like intentional ramming). So again, in summary, it's just the AI being stupid and keeping its line no matter what. And, while we can all argue that this is what racing is (fighting for the optimal line when overtaking), real drivers don't stupidly crash into one another. Whenever they have nowhere to go, at worse, they'll put both wheels off the track in order not to crash. It is true though that the video from glenmack is not the best example ever and I can agree with BarryBL, since it's very debatable, since everybody was stuck together. By that I mean, it would be OK if the AI "SOMETIMES" tries to keep its line and causes crashes. It does happen in real F1. But, in F1 2019, AI will always keep its line (say 99% of the time, just for the sake of not saying "always"). I had numerous races where AIs completely ignores me overtaking them and just drive as if I don't exist. As for the penalty, it is true that you will ALWAYS be the one getting a penalty against the AI, even if it's their fault. But, in my F1 2019 career, I have seen AIs getting 5s penalties for things that didn't happen with me. So I guess they can get penalties??? But clearly, not when it happens with against a player.
