Omfg can you folks quit with the AI opponent theory, we are racing real people in the duels guys, I don’t know where you get the theory that we’re racing against AI opponents? I have seen zero evidence of that, all you have to do is watch how they race and you realise their human.

It’s all about touch/tap braking and accelerating for the the big donut turns like at Shanghai, just ride the speed bump on the inside, keep touching The throttle off and on as you break off on that’s how you get it done, brake-accelerate, brake, accelerate repeatedly, all about practice and really what works for you individually, all about preference, but as far as breaking in general, 90 percent of the time I use the touch/tap technique, not full on the break unless I have no choice, it makes it a lot easier to perceive and make a judgement on the corner coming up as you break without losing too much speed and getting f’d if you break too early and it safe guards you from breaking too late and slamming the breaks at the last second and going into the wall. Very few corners do I use the slam the brake technique.

I’m not going to lie, I used to take advantage of the corners and turns when they didn’t penalize me. But now I’m making a concerted effort to drive as clean as I can all around. The last chicane at Montreal alone I’ve lost so many races just purely due to the fact of this concerted effort to drive clean, when before that I used to almost literally glide through it at 80 percent throttle and just flew by so many opponents for the win, but that’s okay, even if I lose some races because of it, it makes you feel good that you’re racing the right way.

What a douche, sick of these idiot bums tryna ruine the game for the serious ones, sick of it. Gtta love it too when you’re passing a dude at the end and guy cuts u off and/or smashes u into the wall right before the finish line when I would’ve passed him if he didn’t.

If he’s using a racing guide, then he’s obviously not the best in the world regardless of rank lol I’m all real skills baby, I do it the hard real way! If you got real skills and actually know what you’re doing, you wouldn’t need a guide.
