The only season where I can honestly say Vettel overachieved is 2008. Or was that just because Bourdais was rubbish? I wonder what would've happened if Vettel moved to RBR in 2009 and the car was still shit.
Bourdais is generally rubbish :P Even he could finish on the podium in Monza that year if he didn't stall on the grid.

And remember back then Newey was designing both RB and STR cars.
Wasn't it Wet back then ;)

  2. .....and I've just had a proper close look at the big picture

    and saw these....

They could just be the F3 again....but why would it be there 3 times..?

Stock Mazda RX7 inbetween the F3 and R8. Street Racing class maybe? Drift?
That smallish car on the right behind the oper wheeler looks like a fiat 500?

@Loore @justbiglee Can you confirm that?
    No, keep guessing :P
    Ok the Fiat abarth?

  3. This is a VERY long shot, but:

It's been said they are playing Grid Autosport. Well, if we take a closer look at this screen...

Well well well. What do we have here? A Koenigsegg Agera perhaps?

Totally on basis of the shape of the headlights, and how they are elevated.

This is a totally long shot...and probably wrong, but eh :P
Was just looking at that on Photoshop ;)

  4. How do you have the custom message thing at the bottom of your comment?
It's called a signature. Go to your settings, edit your profile and it's there I think.

Back to the discussion, I think if you put Vettel and Hamilton in the same car then they would be very close, but I think Hamilton would just edge him. I think in terms of raw speed Hamilton is top, and I think over a season Hamilton would win. People thought of him as someone who wouldn't be able to get used to the new fuel saving rules, but look at his drives in Malaysia and China. Incredible, controlled, and he was so fast that he was able to use one or two percent lower fuel. I'm sure Vettel would do the same, I mean, we saw his dominant wins last season, but I think Hamilton would have the edge.
You could Ricciardo has the edge over Vettel now so if both of them were in the Merc then Ricciardo may be still faster?
