Agree totally but nice to see codemasters are on the issue of tactics for tire changes. my issue is at this rate the updates will soon be twice as big for storage space than what the game takes up. I know this won’t be too much of a issue for pc users but for console users who couldn’t afford to buy anything but standard console it comes to be a big issue when one game takes up so much space yet devs of different games don’t seem to really care. but got to say glitches aside really impressed with game this year especially team mode even if my car didn’t like to handle at all in Vietnam race lol.

Your primary sponsor is for a full season so it may not pay out till end of season, my main sponsor didn’t pay out when I met the requirements so looks like it’s end of year. At least then you have money to switch engines if you want.

Have you considered there maybe not enough bronze lvl1 on at the time you were to create a ranked race so you were put with bronze 2 and 3 to make up the numbers? They have to do this otherwise you may spend hours and hours in a queue then go to forums to complain about that too.

Think that just about sums up what I’m doing during first season too, seems most sensible way for long term improvement

One week after release is a bit soon for proper fixes sadly I been lucky not to see many errors in game up to now(yes I know I shouldn’t have cursed my game now).

Agree the challenge is so much better this year but think the failure rates on some of the new development parts is a bit steep, creating what others explained here of never been able to catch up but hope it does get better in later seasons(playing 100% races so be ages to find out lol ).

Also cause it’s is a season long contract don’t think you get the money till end of season, I got my points needed 3 races ago and haven’t got the money yet.

Have still noticed though that if your on racing line and not turning and another car goes into me, I still get a warning in 2020 edition even though it’s the other drivers fault

Probably be a grid place penalty, 5 places for each time you use a new gear box in your situation strangely I done first 4 races of season and my first gear box has 29% wear in my team mode yet seen so many complaints about gear box wear.

Playing second race of season last night and on pit straight kimi was in front of me and he suddenly lost control and had a glancing hit to the pit wall just enabled me to sneak past him without been hit so yes drivers do make mistakes and yes kimi did manage to finish race in end.

You really need to say why you thing it’s neglected otherwise codemasters won’t know what you want fixing on it.

I seen this as well also had annoying thing that I like to race full races for laps on career mode but have to save half way through race and come back later due to illness yet when I load up saved game, virtual safety car comes out every time and yes I tested it and happens every time on xbox1 version

Also have they fixed cars coming in for intermediate tires then as they were supposed to pit next lap under normal conditions they pit again lap later, benefits the player but totally unrealistic.

I seen drivers making mistakes in 2019 version and hitting walls, max did that in Singapore and hit me damaging my front wing lol.

Got to say in 2019 version I never fully turned ers off unless it was a outlap anyway lol.

Sounds really promising as drivers improved slightly between 2018 and 19 but seems better now from comments here.

That happened in 2019 version too for me, rarely I admit but did sometimes happen and the glitch where the pit crew would stand and stare at car for 2 to 3 seconds before taking tires off, really hope this isn’t in 2020 too. Shoes laziness in coding if it is by porting over 2019 code lol. But got to say really looking forward to creating own team once a got the dreaded day one patch out of way

16 gig update for me at day one. Is this what we pay £50 plus for yo play on day one, the ability not to play the game cause of the inability of the devs to release a dayone game without needing a day one patch??????? sorry but if devs can’t produce a game without patching it one day one or releasing the patch the day before release( why this has never been done is beyond me, devs supposed to be intelligent people after all) then codemasters should be looking into this or giving partial refunds for us not been able to play game on the day codemasters said we can from the time they said.

Just playing the Canadian weekly event and was in first place after 3 laps and over 4 seconds ahead of person in second place when the game kicks me out of the event telling me I don’t have online permission. I got Xbox ultimate active and play online games on Xbox 1 all the time so seems game can’t even work out who has permission or not. Why waste my time letting me qualify we’ll for race then boot me out and why isn’t the weekly event better programmed to stop this sort of thing happening. also why is it in ranked online people are allowed just to crash others off the track all the time and don’t get punished at all, I refuse to do oNline racing other than the weekly event when the game allows me to complete weekly event that is, simply because the online racing is a complete joke because everyone cheats to get and stay ahead. This has been happening for this and 2018 version that I know off and codemasters seem to completely ignore it as long as they have our money!
