  1. nvm, i found a fix on my own, this can be deleted
  2. well, i know it is not on the list of official wheels with the game but back in f1 2020 it was not recognized and i could map it however i want, now in f1 2021 it is recognized as a keyboard. All i want is for it to be reverted back to how it was in f1 2020 as i know it will be a hassle to add it as a supported wheel with the game due to the amount of 3rd party rims out there.
  3. This does not help. Now my wheel is labelled as a keyboard
  4. A detailed description of the issue. Im using a simagic alpha with its gt4 wheel since f1 2020. Last year it was not recognized, i could at least map anything i wanted with wheel and even navigate menus with it. But this year, even though simagic is not among the list of support wheel bases/wheels, my alpha is recognized as an m10 and the same time it thinks it is a keyboard. Im considered lucky as i still get to map buttons and it remains saved but unable to map menu navigation buttons due to it being a "device with a preset control scheme". From the forum, there is a thread where
  5. Oh… my bad. Damn, then this really **** me off
  6. Mine was not seen as an alpha or a keyboard. Mine was seen as an m10 which clearly makes no sense and it says the m10 is a preset but there are no buttons.
  7. For me I’m using the simagic alpha wheelbase with the gt4 rim. Im not too bothered that I need to bind the controls but it’s just that the game recognises it as the m10, but non of the buttons are bound. Also, I can’t assign any of the menu buttons due it saying that it is a preset control scheme. I did not have this issue on f1 2020 man
  8. Well, driving conservatively and using the brakes more to downshift slightly slower does reduce the wear way way more but I still think it is possible for it to be adjusted. Thanks for the update and raising the issue to the dev team @BarryBL
  9. most of the time optimal revs thanks for the help anyways, i will take note of my downshifts and try to change them a little .
  10. Logically speaking I understand you, which is why when I started My Team Career, I chose Mercedes and during the 1st interview had some focus on reliability. From my 1st Screenshot, you could see that my engine wear is pretty decent (those are all the 1st set, didnt change them at all). Attached (hopefully. Been having issues whereby I am unable to upload anything) is a lap during my Chinese GP weekend. My gearbox wear this weekend seems to be rather ok even though it is at 30+% (probably part of the game) Im guessing I did not use as many flashbacks as I did in other races.
  11. As much as I enjoy the joke, this is very painful for me to play as I am not the most consistent driver in F1 games and I tend to use many many flashbacks (like countless). To see a gearbox die within a weekend sure is painful and dreadful
  12. I just did a weekend at Vietnam (continuing my team career mode) ordering a new gearbox for quali and race. The wear is already at 50%. At this rate, Im gonna be using 22 gearboxes man
  13. 1. A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. Played 2 100% races in My Team mode and gearbox is already at 80% 2. What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) 3. Game-mode? My Team Career Mode 4. What are your replication numbers? Minimum test attempts are 4. Please also add EXACT replication steps for us to try too. N/A 5. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue NIL 6. What peri
