Hey everybody. I've been bitten by the sim racing bug really hard since spring 2019. I want to get a dedicated rig going so that my little wheel and stand isn't in front of the family tv anymore...and I don't want to have the footprint that a tri-screen set up would entail...and I also just straight up don't want to buy all the stuff that is necessitated by a tri-screen. All I really want to do is grab a good VR headset, plug it into me lappy 286 and play some F1 2020. I love the cockpit mode and almost at 110 difficulty etc. etc....I think I'm ready for a more immersive experience to bring my skill to the next level. Where that VR support? There is a paucity of information on it since launch declared VR support would be coming eventually. Crickets. Anyone?

These are all great ideas! I'd like to add, just because I didn't see it on this thread yet even though everyone is squawking about it: we really need proper triple-screen support and VR support as well. I'm aching to get a VR headset for racing, but I play F1 almost exclusively, and because it's not supported there's no point.

Mate that's a spectacular idea! I got into F1 because of the netflix show so I've only been diehard for a year and half, and haven't played any F1 games earlier than 2018, but that would make me look forward to next year's game all the more.

I think this is a ready-made opportunity to improve on F1 2021: add the tracks that are going to be raced this year, as well as some of the more iconic tracks from bygone years that might be part of a 'challenge mode' or something from the best races of 80s and 90s... We would be able to race Mugello, Nurburgring, Aragon etc. How great would it be to be able to customise the calendar with 22 races or so a choice of 30 tracks?

Since the release of Driver Ratings in the lead up to game release, there have been controversies regarding them. An easy (maybe?) way to pacify the masses would be to add an option to customise team and driver ratings to allow for individual opinion. For example: for anyone who feels Seb has lost his edge, they could downgrade his stats, making him less expensive to acquire in MyTeam. Or, judging from Austria GP, if a fan feels Ferrari have taken a step back from last year, they could downgrade their ratings to that of a midfield team, allowing a Player in MyCareer the opportunity to bring them back to the front of the grid. I'm not sure how feasible this is, but other sports games allow full customisation of league rosters, I feel this would richly add to the enjoyment of the game. And hey, good on CM for the innovations in this game! I'm putting you all in for a raise, you've earned it and a hefty holiday bonus this year. And is it possible you've all actually gotten better looking? Well done.
