Judging by CM's update history, it'll be the 19th, which is—indeed—the second half of the month. However, if you'd have subscribed to my mid-October (12th-18th) frame, you wouldn't be this upset about it.

My perferred view has always been middle of this month, say 12th-18th, rather than "first half".

I know this'll seem like a bump of the topic below but just adding a poll to that topic, which I just tried, doesn't work. As explained in more detail in the topic above, I'd like to see MyTeam widened into MyF1 while not thinking it'll happen due to licensing issues. Thus, I, admittedly, belatedly ask my fellow players if you'd like a MyF1 mode in future games, how (if so), and if it'll appear. Please explain your answers so CM has as much data as possible on the subject.

Yes, there is. It's called Covid not allowing the season to start on time. If I remember correctly, the game was released before the season season started, meaning CM had no current performance data whatsoever at the time. Yes, they may have had data from winter testing, but that was five or six months old at release, if they had it.

If you just bought the wheel and pedals, you need to update them before trying to use them.

There’s no need for this because GP mode’s meant to put the player in a real driver’s shoes using whichever team they choose. I made a suggestion to add the FOM car to GP mode, which could be what you mean. If that’s the case, I, totally, agree. But, your wording’s a bit wonky.

While the timing of the lights needs evened out, there's a lot of value to running through a track's final few turns by oneself on the flying lap. Thus, I don't see CM altering the flier's starting place too radically.

One thing I forgot to mention is, even if Pocono hade a proper license, there’s no way it would be included because it’s a tri-oval—not a road or street circuit—which could be why it doesn’t have a grade 1 license right now.

Actually, there's no way this happens because it's far more complex than just adding sliders as there'd have to be code that ties cost to the changes made.

Currently, licensing issues prevent this because CM gets permission to run the tracks on the F1 calendar. However, for all we know, CM and FIA could be discussing something to the effect of a "fantasy season" for next year's game because of the support the idea gets whenever it's brought up here. Additionally, if such a thing is included, we're most likely to get circuits from this list. According to the notes thereon, a few of the circuits are less likely to appear than others due to FIA licensing issues of their own.

This one could be by design, depending on where that chicane is on the track, because the game sees that violations in sector 3 could impact the following lap's time as well. The most common examples of this for me are infractions involving Silverstone's final chicane.

I know asking for MyTeam's scope to be widened into a fully customisable MyF1 mode seems self-centred because I'm the only one who's ever indicated they have a fully fictional FIA and F1. Yet, I believe widening MyTeam into MyF1 would be helpful because it'd allow players to set up each team however they'd like. Then again, I realise the odds of this change happening are slim-to-none because of the contracts involved with making the series in the first place.

Are you using flashbacks in every race? Even if you are, I recommend that you stop using them because they enforce the idea that one has multiple attempts to do the same thing during a lap. Additionally, overuse has been shown to cause stuff like this.

Currently, I'm trying to learn the game with medium TC and finding that, until I learn to be gentler on a pad or get a wheel, I need a fairly stiff suspension. Earlier today, I tried running Zandvoort with a 1-3 suspension to no avail before stiffening it to 5-7, I believe. While the latter kept the car straight, it worked too well. I may have even ran 3-5 after the 5-7. What are same tracks where a stiff suspension doesn't hurt very much? For context, I believe my current setup for Hungary has a 4-9 suspension.
