I, actually, just dumped ABS and TC to learn proper driving technique. I had so much trouble that I only completed four laps on a wet Hungary in more than ten attempts, the best being a clean 2:02.132. -
And, CM ain't EA, etc. and don't have the money to license off-schedule tracks. Thus, "licensing issues" are a real concern for them. Just look at the link I provided, which says there could be two new tracks (Miami and Rio MotorPark) and up to twenty-five (25) races next year.

As would I, actually. It could, easily happen starting with next year’s game, if CM/FIA redo the appropriate license.

I, actually, find learning to drive in the wet easier than the dry. Of course, this could be because all tracks become downforce tracks in the wet, and I find thay sort of track easier than speed-favoring tacks, like Monza. -
I'm just sick of seeing topics like this, especially, since people don't have to search for similar topics with Barry's announcement above.

Screenshot please because I've only ever seen the short circuit in GP mode. Also, we can't use the outer circuit in TT mode, which makes me think you're mixing the two up. Also, CM have said the extra tracks won't be added multiple times. So, drop it.

At this point, we stand to lose Austria, China, and Spain straight away with Brasil potentially moving to another track.

You're missing my point that stewarding is automated in the game, which makes red flags redundant.

Personally, I'm most likely to use one-shot qualifying when I start racing with qualifying. How would that change things?

Not gonna happen cause licensing issues. Stop asking. Your arguement about Imola and Istanbul's assets being left over doesn't hold water because it doesn't account for any changes that may have been made to the tarcks in the intervening time.

There aren’t physical stewards in the games. Thus, you’re asking CM to add extra character models as well. Do you, honestly, think they’d add something that’d add nothing at all to the game when they have game-breaking bugs to contend with? I don’t in a million years.

That’s a much better analogy than I had running with OP’s comparison. OP, it’s a universal rule in every racing series, including non-FIA-sanctioned ones, and they aren’t in those games either. Hell, they aren’t even in the Forza or Gran Tourismo games, which are in-house originals. Thus, there’s no way CM will add them to the F1 games.

There’s some livery customization coming with future Podium Passes. We just dunno what yet.

If you mean the sound when you make quick downshifts, I don't think it's a bug because none else has complained about it. Otherwise, please fill out the official bug report in English. -
No off-track excursions in grass or gravel? I think those cause a bit of damage as well. If you stayed completely withing the track and didn't hit anyone, it, probably, shouldn't have taken the money.

As we know, F1 will have more aero-friendly tyres next year. I'd like to see them in next year's game, if particable. Granted, I know CM works two years out, meaning it's likely that we won't see them in-game ntil F1 2022.

Going nuclear right away is a bad idea, mate. All games have bugs after launch, some of which are severe. You should always offer any help you can to the devs before doing something like that, especially when you’re not the only one with a texture issue. I’d seen other topics about similar issues.

That's an invalid comparison, actually, because association football needs the bookings (yellow cards) and sendings off (red cards) to function and avoid becoming similar to Calcio Fiorentino. Granted, you can adjust leniency in the games. But, racing games operate just fine without red flags, which are left out so players aren't sitting around for an hour waiting for a serious wreck to be cleared.

The cosmos livery's my favorite in the game. However, I'm disappointed that we can't edit the color of its stars. After all, the real sky/cosmos has, by increasing mass, brown, white, red, orange, yellow, and blue stars. Of these, the white dwarves are the remainders of red giants, which the Sun will become one of, and the brown dwarves are too cool to be detected. Thus, I'd like the ability to edit two interspersed groups of stars, if you bring the livery back in future games.
