Now that Slightly Mad Studios is a Codemasters company, I've been thinking of one thing. How about taking their custom fictional logotypes to F1 2020 as a source of new sponsor pack for customization? I believe they have a lot of fictional sponsors, so adding them to F1 2020 would be good because you would have more sponsor options in the livery editor so it would make the liveries a little bit unique. Some examples of their fictional sponsors are: BERAN, Demonio Energy Drink, Hiramashi, ROTMEG, BRiTGENS, Rosso & Bianco - Men's Fashion, Ebblix Racing Spark Plug Wires, Avielldi Global Logistics, Petroblast, Jancon Mobile, Copter2 Motor Oil, Mudino Motor Oil, etc.

I can see this for future installments, but not dlc, because SMS had been working on Project CARS 3 for a year or longer when CM bought them. My guess is that F1 2021 or 2022, more likely '22, is the first time we have a chance to see them in an F1 game because CM would have to wrangle with the FIA about it due to when the purchase was made.

  2. Now that CM owns SMS, I'd like to see th elevation-style maps from Project CARS' selection screens in future F1 games once you can construct them for every track in the game because having the maps for whichever circuits overlap in the two series, while nice, would look odd.

  3. It's been reported as abusive to CM and/or removed. Live with it. If I were a mod, I would've sent a strongly worded PM to you as a warning never to make another topic like that because topics like it demonstrate the poster may not belong on the forum it was posted on.

    10. Classic tracks if we had them as an option 7 years ago on 2013, why can't we get them or atleast the current ones used this year IRL on next years game as DLC? Logically if they started work on them as the irl season started they should be done by the release of F1 2021...

This list will tell you which of the classic tracks you want can still hold F1 races.

    23. Accurate car models and sponsors, as some cars are missing sponsors in key areas, for example mclaren and their big velo sponsor that breaks up the large blue panel on their sidepods.

Unless CM starts asking for the player's birthdate in-game (admittedly, simple), this won't happen because they don't want alchohol or tobacco sponsors in the game.

Good afternoon, in the next update of the F1 2020 game, add the tracks from this year's grid, so you can race them in grand prix and multiplayer mode

At least, you translated. But, people don't like scrolling unless necessary. Thus, please just copy and paste the unformatted text from your next translation.

You're completely wrong, the FIA rule is that at least two tyres must always keep contact with the kerb, the four tyres do not need to stay within the line

That's, presumably, what the next setting down is, mate. Just use that setting as strict isn't meant to be realistic.

What 5 new tracks for 2021? The currently confirmed races include no new tracks that weren't in F1 2020.

As of now, the only ones I see listed as possibilities are a circuit around Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL and Autódromo de Deodoro in Rio de Janeiro, BR. We're set to lose Barcelona, Red Bull Ring, and Shanghai, though.

  8. You, probably, made that exact post in the bug report forum and ignored the people who told you to fill out a bug report, which explains the lack of assistance.

  9. The game was licensed for the official schedule. Thus, @BarryBL's already stated they'll never add the extra tracks to the game. You'd know this if you'd searched for similar topics before posting this one.

At the moment, we are licensed to include the exclusive official, approved and submitted grids of the start of the 2020 F1 and F2 seasons. We do also assign drivers emergency backup fictional drivers should your MyTeam save end up in financial trouble, however, this is only to benefit and safe-guard your game save.

    Okay.

  11. As I mentioned in the post below, I'm one of a small number of ("some") users who've requested that custom drivers be given stats. However, I'll completely understand a negative answer, as the others should, becuase of the work required on the driver creation screen, as detailed herein. I propose the edition of a "driver experience" tab with the subsections below to the driver creation suite.

    1. First GP
    2. Permanent or replacement driver (number of subsequent GPs, if replacement)
    3. Team (allowing cusotm input)
    4. Initial contract length ("indefinite" only for first member of custom team)
    5. Best finish

i agree, as I would love to practice grand prix with equal cars performances so I can get ready for my league races without having somebody else playing with me in a lobby.

That's not what OP's asking for, though, rather they're asking for the FOM/multiplayer car to be put into GP mode.

Surely the “custom team” bit was an oversight & will get sorted in the next update :classic_wink:

    I hope so as well.

This is more of me jumping on a bandwagon, but we should be able to change the color of MyCar's number. This one's fairly easy to accomplish by just making the number an adjustable portion of the livery.

I may be mistaken, but this is already halfway done - pretty sure in the car select screen for TT, the team badge for the car is your MyTeam badge?

You're not mistaken as the badge is on the select screen. But, "custom team" appears where we see official team names, such as Haas F1 Team.

  15. Part of the experience in this game is driving the classic F1 cars, which got me thinking about my favorite car in the game. Honestly, I'm quite partial to the pre-1994 design because I find the nose-attached front wing better-looking than its nose-suspended counterpart from '94-present. Among the cars with the wing attached directly to the nose, my favorite is Schumacher's Jordan from '91 with my second being the '88 McLaren. While I can't make a poll naming every car because there are too many, I'd like to know everyone else's favorite in-game classic era and car from within that era.

I know right.. I’m not sure if they’re intentionally lying, or just incompetent.

And how much are you willing to bet that the next update.. if it finally arrives, breaks something else.

The F2 2020 update is also a mystery.

Not even an update, apology or an explanation... seriously!?

The lack of communication is appalling.

Just look at their Twitter, every post is followed by dozens of complaints and hatefull reactions. Nobody cares.

Meanwhile the gameplay bug page is at 84 pages!!! WHAT?!? 😱

In the mean time they’re just working on getting more liveries in the store for you to buy.. (with the holidays just around the corner) you know, the number one priority in a racing game!! 😝

...And id1ots like myself keep buying the game.. well I’m done.. I’m so sick of Codemasters atm.

As I've stated before, the bug section's length comes from people not using the search feature, expecially early on, and putting the same bug or extrememly similar bugs in in different topics.

Where is the goddamn PERFORMANCE PATCH !? WE ARE IN THE FIRST HALF OF OCTOBER, CODEMASTERS !! I've been waiting nicely since july 10, so now move your lazy ass and BRING OUT THE ******* PERFORMANCE PATCH !!

Judging by CM's update history, it'll be the 19th, which is—indeed—the second half of the month. However, if you'd have subscribed to my mid-October (12th-18th) frame, you wouldn't be this upset about it.
