    [MY TEAM] POST YOUR CAR

Lord knows I miss those games, even back to EA doing theirs mid 10's. Heat is okay, but it really lacks the on track character and presentation. Soundtrack is always air guitar worthy though.
  2. Morning all. Still working through a championship on 2019 that I'm loving but since I'm going to buy this anyway, figured I'd pick it up and have a look around in preparation for planning a new career. Couple of questions, probably a bit simple, but useful for me to know.. My Team - The screens for the different areas of facilities, simulator, engine etc. Do these update and change visually as you invest in them and your ream gets bigger? Just wondering how this is displayed visually to the player, can I expect to see my chassis workspace get bigger and more people working there etc as I pump money into it, same with marketing I'm hoping this will grow to show a full department rather than one person behind a desk? This is quite important for me in terms of my interest in this mode, I don't want to be looking at the same things forever, and Motorsport Manager exists after all for this kind of game mode. Also liveries, not much there to start? How quick is progression to earning a few more livery choices without having to pay extra? Career - Very interested in running a full F2 season before starting the main F1 side of the mode this year. Not too bothered about the 'story' while fun to play once on 2019, I ended up restarting just F1 as the characters following me through my career was annoying lol. Wondering though, in terms of F2 to F1, is this automatic, play a season get an F1 seat? What happens if I finish last? Do you have to win F2 to get the drive? All help useful on this, thanks guys, enjoy your racing!

    Few questions on F1 2020

I'm still playing through some ongoing games on 2019 but have picked up 2020 to have a look around in preparation for a new career mode with the new features etc. Have had a few short runs at time trial to see how it feels and looks as compared. I average between 80-90 AI as well so we're pretty much in the same grouping through I use a pad. Space taken on your PS4, I don't recall specifically, but its your typical AAA release, 60-70 GB all told. As of right now, 2019 is by far the more polished product, the more balanced and playable of the two, as you might expect of course but 2020 has some problems which means it will be a while before I jump into anything significant though I'm keeping an eye on here and on the updates to see how it's coming along, long story short: It's far from a finished product as is. I've had several crashes to home screen, and this is just from poking around in My Team, running some time trials and messing around with liveries. The overall graphical look needs some work. Colours are noticeably washed out when compared to 2019, most obvious on the red kerbs and grass. Scenery around track is also less detailed. I watch replays so I notice, if you don't then it might not bother you that much. Team liveries are not up to date yet, how much this affects your enjoyment is up to you of course. Team performance is also not up to date, so Ferrari is currently far too fast for its real life counterpart, this is understandable given the current situation with real F1 and the release date, but it's going to take a patch to fix, ETA is unknown. Could affect your career if you were to start one, could mean having to restart completely. Not in depth, but those are my first impressions of 2020. For now, I have plenty to finish on 2019 so that's where my energy will go, it's going to take a while for 2020 to be up to that level in terms of balancing, polish and updates, so if you love 2019 and still have things you want to do, I'd recommend sticking with it. If you're done with it, and don't mind the above, then 2020 is for you, otherwise, I'd keep an eye on it and wait it out for the time being.

    Strategy Changes in race

For me it's the voice command button, the one that usually opens a list of commands you can say or choose. It gives then the two choice. Top is new strategy, bottom is same strategy. So for me on the controller I have it set if I hit voice command then right -> on the dpad to accept, voice command then down and then right to keep current strategy. Depends how you set it up haha but it can definitely be a pain. I like 2020 option to move the MFD centre screen, much easier than having to glance slightly to the right.

    Anyone playing on XBox One

Have you tried using the dynamic racing line? I've been using this since, oh, god knows, the PS2 days, to casual race, learn tracks, and still use it now for a new track or if I haven't played in a while. At least that way the AI is not controlling your car and you'll get a feel for what signage, objects, markings etc. are at the ideal break points to help learn.

Couple of Career / My Team Questions

As a long suffering Williams fan I would definitely want that for whatever good it would do but a topic for a different forum

Couple of Career / My Team Questions

    No one on these?
  9. So before getting this game I could have swore I read online I think on Racer.com that you could race at Indy on this game with licensed Indycars? I've looked on the game and can't seem to see this in the series or car options anywhere. Am I missing something obvious or have I dreamt this? Do I need a DLC or?
