UPDATE: After being "kicked for cheating" a few times in multiplayer, while not using any mods, I validated my F1 2020 install on Steam and that did the trick. It repaired 83 files and now I can continue playing. I've got no idea how this happened, but I'm glad it's fixed.

Agree with this! Please make the commentary language a seperate option for the game 🙂

Now I've started a new My Team career, did the first few races again and at exactly the same point the game gets stuck again... After loading the Zandvoort Invitational checkpoint race event, the game gets stuck on "please wait" again... Yay, 2nd time My Team gets wasted... When can we expect a fix?

Hey @BarryBL, unfortunately this issue is still here in 1.05 on PC. I hope the devs can find something with that savegame I sent. I'm gonna start My Team career all over I'm afraid.

I've tried several other things in the meantime (adjusting graphics and video settings), but that didnt work either. I hope the devs can replicate is with my savegame and fix it in 1.04.

Same here, I've got no idea where it goes wrong. I hope they can fix it soon, I don't want to start all over again with My Team / career.

I have neither. My save got stuck in career after Vietnam, when I was going to do an invitational event on Zandvoort with the RB10, during my first season with My Team.

Update: I've rolled back to AMD 20.5.1 drivers, but that didn't help unfortunately. Still the same issue.

No I'm not that wise apparently. I'm on Win 10 2004 and the 20.7.1 driver 🙂 I'm using an R9 Fury Series video card.

I did use the "racing legend" emote btw, but I turned that off now for the character I use in My Team. And the issue remains unfortunately. I've also tried rebooting the game after changing that emote to a common one, but the issue still remains.

I do have that DLC, but I don't use any of it on my character/livery.

1. A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. The game gets stuck on a black screen with "please wait" in top left corner. It doesn't seem to freeze, no crash, just "please wait" and it goes on like that and doesnt do anything at all. I can't continue my career with my team this way 😞 I'm on Windows 10, Steam, AMD (up to date drivers) videocard, using a two screen setup and play on the primary screen. 2. Minimum test attempts are 4. Please also add EXACT replication steps for us to try too. I've replicated this about 7 or 8 times now. All I do is boot up the game, try to load my team save and then it happens. Other game modes are working just fine. 5. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue I've tried changing several video settings, including the Anti Aliasing mode, but that didnt help. 6. What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) Mouse and keyboard and a Thrustmaster T150 steering wheel. 7. Any screenshots or video of the issue? If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears.
